2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Hmmm... Most Alts Could be Hitting Bottom Here on: August 19, 2024, 03:15:41 PM
I think the same. but we can see more crashes soon. after deducting the interest rates, people tend to buy risky assets. in my opinion , ZRO and TIA are best investments
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Which Top 30 CoinmarketCap Rankings are Most Undervalued and Why? on: May 07, 2024, 04:25:41 PM
Which top 30 coinmarketcap rankings are most undervalued and why do you think this?

As per my knowledge , the new coins such as Celestia still undervalued. its a unique project. Do your own research before investing

7  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Long term Crypto winning strategies on: December 09, 2022, 04:39:03 AM
I do trading aswell in the short term, but your question is regarding investing - i am first and foremost an investor.

My plan is to accumulate bitcoin as much as i can.

For the long term i look at macro liquidity and general stock market sentiment. I also look at certain onchain data for bitcoin that coincides with the 4 year cycle. Even with this decade being so different, this has still worked.

Here is an image of M3 money supply of USA and Europe which shows strong correlation between bitcoin price and liquidity/fiat debasement that helps me for a zoomed out perspective.

Within this longer framework, i also use the volatility to accumulate. Other people like to dca consistently or buy dips, but I try to be more aggressive because i have constructed models with onchain data that allow me to have confidence to trade multi week or even multi month (some would call this swing trading). Here is an example of one of my models with backtesting.

Thanks for the explanation. where can i see charts

In terms of short term trading, i dont focus on technical analysis simply because everyone else is, so less edge. I prefer to focus on orderbooks (which can also be useful for long term confluence for finding tops and bottoms)

I am confused about how BTC price comes from blockchain?
So you have been on this forum ever since 2017 and have made 1338 posts and you think bitcoin price comes from blockchain? May I ask what have you been doing all this time and what have you been reading on this forum?

Most importantly if you don't even understand the price and the market how do you claim that 2023 is going to be bearish?!!

I know the economics, demand and supply determines the price. But here how technically price comes from?

11  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: what are the disadvantages of paper wallet on: December 06, 2022, 09:10:11 AM
Most are saying that if you hold big amount BTC you choose paper wallet. what is the reason behind that?
What matters is that your private key(s) shouldn't connect to the internet, so your wallet is secure and protected against hackers.
Paper wallet is recommended because your keys are on a paper and there is no way for a hacker to access your paper. Take note that if you don't generate your paper wallet properly, it wouldn't provide the security it should. For example, if you generate your paper wallet using an unsafe tool, it's possible that all your fund is stolen. Or if you generate your keys on an online computer, it wouldn't be a cold storage and wouldn't have a big difference with an online wallet.

AS per my understanding, we can go offline and generate keys on Bitaddress.org. am i correct and is it Good?

16  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Blockchain and BTC transaction works- This is how i know. on: December 04, 2022, 04:35:06 AM
Dear all

These days i am researching about blockchain techknowlodgy and BTC transactions.

AS per my knowledge

How BTC blockchain Works(mining)

IF a transaction happen first come to the Mem Pool , then after Broadcast to the other nods on the BTC network. After the validation it goes to candidate block. Then miners run the SHA256 HASH algo to find the Nonce. The more hashpower will win the nouce number.  Thats called mining. Noramlly on a block consist of Block height , Nounce ,Data ,previous Hash and Current hash. After Nounce number calculated Block is mined then put the block right after the current block.

Data includes (Sender ,Receiver , Amount)

How BTC transaction works

Sender Encrypt transaction with private key (sha256) then Decrypt with public key (receiver)

18  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: How to send BTC to BInance from cold storage on: December 01, 2022, 05:49:33 AM
Are there any big fees for it? i have downloaded exodus wallet , but there are asking 12pharse words. but we only have private key. so what is that differnace?

Use Electrum wallet (electrum.org) instead. More options for importing wallets, and it's a better Bitcoin wallet altogether despite the old school UI.
If i create a paper wallet , i got a public key and private key. so From using  public key we can send BTC from binance. whenever i need to send BTC to binance from  paper wallet
On Binance, you don't own private key of your Bitcoin. They are a centralized exchange with custodial wallet provided to users.

I guess you want to send your BTC from your wallet to your Binance account, send BTC to Binance ?

You can import your private key to Electrum and send your BTC to your Binance account. Open your Binance account, choose Deposit and get your Deposit address on Binance with BTC network. Remember to choose BTC network or BTC (Segwit) because you will make a transaction on Bitcoin network.

In addition, when you make a transaction from your wallet, you use its private key to sign that transaction, not public key.

Thanks for the explanations , everybody. Now i have understand. Anyway , Are there any alternative rather than Electrum wallet. Anything can happen in crypto. If electrum wallet hacked , then what else we can do?

whenever i need to send BTC to binance from  paper wallet , How can i do?
That's what your private key is for. You could, for example, just download Electrum[1] (bitcoin wallet), import the private-key[2] and send the coins to whoever you want.

Just make sure no one gets hold of your private key. Don't send them to anyone, be careful with fake popups ana ads, don't download random software, etc...
