1  Economy / Exchanges / Re: List of bitcoin debit cards on: September 18, 2017, 01:25:44 PM
I need some advise: I want a BTC card with this options: without identification requirements, minim 2.000$ per day withdraw limits, minimum fees posible, good background company. What recomendation you have for this?

Thanks in advance!

I have had success with both SpectroCoin and UQUID. The only concerns I really have with these are minimal compared to other similar providers which do require identification or similar data which you might not want to provide to a fishy company. SpectroCoin in my opinion is not clear on the monthly fee and whether you actually have to pay it. They say you do but in my experience I have not had to. UQUID on the other hand is quite transparent but right now you can't get a new card or load your existing one because their contract with their card company is out now. Because of this, I see SpectroCoin as the only option at the moment, but switching isn't out of the question when/if UQUID get a new contract.

Dear Paycent Pre-registrant,

After much consideration, the team at Paycent have decided to stop development on the Paycent Debit Card to pursue http://evercoin.com a cryptocurrency exchange.

We apologize that we are unable to serve you with the card that you signed up for.

We have spoken with a half dozen providers of Bitcoin debit cards, and we have found a partner who is committed to the same countries we planned to support, and has a plan to develop a mobile wallet with a Balances-kept-in-Bitcoin model that we feel will support our brand promise.

Because of this, we have agreed to send this email to you to announce the closing of the paycent service, but also to introduce you to our partner http://shakepay.co who we feel is best suited to serve your needs. No money exchanged hands in this partnership, so we only want those who believed in us to get a suitable way to meet their needs for a Bitcoin debit card with the characteristics we promised.

To get your Shakepay card, please click the button below and register with Shakepay.

Again, we regret that we were unable to fulfill our promise to you, and we hope you will get years of great service from our partner Shakepay.

Sincerely,
Talip

Don't trust them.  They're a scam.  I filled out the documents for their card, and then sent bitcoin.  Their response was that I was a US citizen and that it was in their terms that they can't serve Americans, so they are keeping the $70 expedite plastic card + expedite fee I sent them.

I wrote them back and their response was again the same.  Filled out the form, but you're supposed to know that they can't serve US citizens and they will keep any money you send to them.  They refused the refund.  Here was their only response:

We can only offer a promo code for a free card (not express delivery). I am sorry that you've encountered this situation, but it is stated in our terms that we are unable to provide services to the US residents/citizens.
Best regards,
Olga Savelyeva

This was the second time they said it in email.  The first time they immediately used that "it is stated in our terms that we are unable to provide services to the US residents/citizens.", so they're using this canned phrase to burn all the US citizens who send them bitcoin.

Stay away from them.  They're dishonest and crooked.  Lost $70.  I accept it as the price for learning about a scam.

Hello! The situation you are describing could have never happened if you checked out the User Agreement before putting a tick in the checkbox in the card order form. It is there for a reason. The paragraph where we state that our services aren't available for the USA due to the financial regulation and digital currencies policy is marked in red as IMPORTANT https://cryptopay.me/legal and is hard to miss.
Moreover, it is impossible to select the US as a billing country in the card order form. So, you must have ordered the card to an invalid or fake billing address in one of the supported countries and the card order has been processed. This is the only case I can think of when you could have been refused a refund. Otherwise, if the order was still being processed, our support agents could have canceled it and made a full payment refund to your Cryptopay wallet upon your request. Please contact us via the live chat or email (support@cryptopay.me) should you need any further clarifications. Thanks.

In response to what you said here:

Moreover, it is impossible to select the US as a billing country in the card order form. So, you must have ordered the card to an invalid or fake billing address in one of the supported countries and the card order has been processed. This is the only case I can think of when you could have been refused a refund. Otherwise, if the order was still being processed, our support agents could have canceled it and made a full payment refund to your Cryptopay wallet upon your request.

Your agents didn't offer a refund, and I asked her for one.  I'm an American living abroad in China.  Did you not think of this?  There are many Americans living in other countries.  So in reality, what you're admitting to is a lie.  When your agent realized that I was living in China, and in fact I wrote an email to her stating why did they deny me, because I'm living in China, she gave me that unethical response from you.

I wrote an email last week stating:

Also, you do realize that I don't live in the US?  I live in China...

And another email I sent:

Otherwise, you need to refund me for my plastic card, and expedited delivery and for my virtual card. I paid both of these using bitcoin. You will need to refund my bitcoin, so that I can draw this money out.

The response was:

I regret to inform you that we are not licenced to offer services to the US residents or citizens, which is stated in our terms and conditions. That is the reason why we were forced to deny your verification, as well as to suspend your plastic card and cancel a virtual card order. Sorry for the inconvenience caused!

Again, you did NOT refund me after the request.  In fact, you merely stated, again, that you were keeping the money because I didn't find in the terms of service where it stated this.  You trying to convince people that you're not scamming them isn't true.  All of my verification paperwork I sent to you showed and proved I lived in China, and yet you still just used the same excuse.  The reasoning is so you can keep the money.

If you weren't trying to be dishonest, then do a refund to my account and I will confirm it here.  Your admission above that your agents would have 'refunded me' and you trying to say I scammed you with incorrect information is fraudulent.  I can prove what I sent to you is accurate data, and I can prove you haven't refunded me.

The facts presented from you already are:

1.  You don't accept Americans
2.  If the application was accurate, your agents would have noticed and refunded the money

You did none of the above.  You didn't identify immediately that you don't accept Americans, even those living abroad who are NOT in America.  I know the limitation for this, but many of us are living/working abroad and haven't had issues with this in the past.  I know America limits deliveries of these debit cards there, as I was a customer of Wirex for years and they sent my cards to China.  Secondly, my application was accurate, and yet you lied that your agents would have refunded me.  They never did.  I identified to them that I live in China and what was the problem.  When they told me, I asked for a refund clearly, and instead of refunding, you scammed me and kept the money.

That is the truth, there is no exaggeration my part.  I paid you in good faith, I sent you accurate information about me, and you've chosen to simply keep the money.  If you're not a scam, then arrange to have my bitcoin returned to me through your agents.  I will update my posts here if you do it.

If you don't....then everything is exactly as I have stated about you.

Is there a Virtual debit card that can be in the US?  This is very annoying to fill out information and find out you can't make virtual card in the USA.  I even google it.   They even allow you to make an account in the USA

I tried SatoshiTango, SpectroCoin, and Shakepay.

 SatoshiTango = need ID  Cool

SpectroCoin
= cool  Wink

Shakepay = min deposit $20  Huh + network fee bitpay 0.000389BTC  Undecided

I am still not fully sure about SpectroCoin. I recently posted in one of their threads about whether their card fee would stack up through different payment periods regardless of whether the card had any balance in it or not. In the website it claims that it does not and that it will only take money out of the card if the card has any balance inside it. The support team, however, said otherwise. In their thread (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=577176.msg21641997#msg21641997) I asked about it and they said that it stacks up and is deducted according to the amount of months that it has been used, regardless of whether they are active or not. It seems to contradict my experience and I am therefore waiting on clarification on their part. They are also in the quarantine section of the OP here, but I asked about what the reason for that was and nobody seems to have answered to me, so I remain unsure about that one. Please share any experience you might have had.

I made several purchases
eBay, Paypal

BTC load without network cost,

Shakepay (+ fee 1%), advcash (+hide fee 2%)  +  network cost is 0.000683 BTC

good exchange rate BTC <-> $$$

I just want to know when the  card service will be reactivated as it is 2 weeks since I see the same message:

Quote
Dear valued customer, Due to our contract expiring with our current card issuer, Our card services will be temporarily unavailable until we can sort out a new contract or sign a new contract with a new card issuer (expected 2 to 3 weeks). In the mean time, all current cards that have been issued and loaded can still be used as normal. you can keep track and management of your card balance via : http://cardholderonline.com (your access token can find in "view card info") We do apologize for any inconvenience caused ! UQ Admin

otherwise I am here to follow this project and see the progress, because I find it very interesting I like the idea of having All in one  Wink
good luck.

Our new card is in the process of being produced by the new card issuer. We will announce the details of the card next week.

our main target from beginning is  "All-in-one" solution. with 1 account you will have all services included

cool, waiting for information about the new bitcoin card Cheesy

good luck.

The fight is currently between Monaco and TenX. I believe that whoever succeed to launch his product in a non-buggy mode first, wins and TenX definitely get a few more points for the solid team behind it.
TenX apps
https://apk-dl.com/com.onebit.app

fee card
https://www.tenx.tech/fees.html

I searched on Google play and It says unreleased so I thought its not functional yet. I tried to make an account but on part where I have to give my country, It's not listed there and compared to other services, there isn't enough countries honestly and as for the fees, everything look decent.

TenX: Visa or MCard ?
