God-damn dumpers!!  Shocked

Yeah... Feels like we're heading in the right direction though! Maybe this is the last chance to buy in at a good rate?

Let them dump. This coin is rock solid and will rocket up the charts. Patience is all that is needed

Attention everyone!

Sources and wallets with KGW will be released tomorrow. We are going to hard fork at block 42000 (~in 4 days +/-) so that everybody (including exchanges) would have enough time to update their wallets. Sorry for delays, we're trying to minimize risks.

Good to see a coin doing it right and thinking long term. Gonna be huge
4  Economy / Securities / Re: Bitcoin market trend analysis- so far the most reliable through 2-month test on: July 12, 2013, 08:38:20 AM
Hi everybody,

In the previous post I mentioned that there was no obvious big trading following yesterday’s slump. We can see the previous several bottom features from the chart, in which all accompanying with substantially increased volume and slump. Thus, we still need to observe to decide whether 72$ is the lows in the near future. Since there is no sign of much rise or arbitrage, I had transferred the last Bitcoins worth tens of thousands from MTGOX to BTTC and then sold them all this morning. (Time: GMT+8)

Thanks!

Good info. Keep going!

I guess the preorder ID is worth nothing.  The order numbers of the time they opened the payments are clearly different.

It's a disaster

Remember 1000 watt power supplies add $200 per jupiter

Crap. There goes my budget! Wink

So how do we know what place you are?

Can you put up proof?

Yes, but how do you interpret the pre-registration number? Can you please explain?

You wait a week and will be told after the first 500 have accepted/declined their positions.

Then you will be placed in order of purchase.

How do you know that orders outside the "first 500" group will be queued according to purchase number and not the pre-order number? In my opinion, their explanation in 'News' section speaks differently: "Everyone already has their place in the queue so we are giving everyone 7 days to pay and maintain that place." (Not a word about first 500...). I have pre-order number >3000 and order# 250 - does it actually mean position ~750?

Exactly. Makes no sense and they won't explain their system, let alone where your pre-order place originally is. Why not tell us what our pre-order place is, so we can check this against our "place" when we purchase?
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Swedish ASIC miner company kncminer.com on: June 05, 2013, 12:10:59 AM
if you don't see the 1-500 all over your acocunt and order options you aren't in the 1-500.

it is pretty easy to see it

as for throwing money in the wind, yup.  But I put a new cc with 0% interest for a year to make this investment bet so at least I am using free money for a year on this.

and i get 1% sent to my mortgage purchase.. so technically I just took ~$40 off my principle with this..  lol  right now I am ahead, but just first chapter of story..

Geez...after several emails to KNC they refused to give me this simple answer. Great to know that I ordered within a few hours of them making pre-orders available,  and I'm still outside the 500, and they're hesitant to tell me this until they take my money. Beautiful

I have a preorder for a Saturn. Before checking out, I have sent them an email asking for the delivery date. I will post the answer (if any) in this thread.

24 hours later and no answer from KncMiner...

how do you can think, that it is possible for KNC to answer it in these days.
do you really know what knc and 28nm asics are?

I have a preorder for a Saturn. Before checking out, I have sent them an email asking for the delivery date. I will post the answer (if any) in this thread.

24 hours later and no answer from KncMiner...

That's because the answer is September.  Asked and answered.

If I am going to spend USD 4,000+ I want to see a delivery estimated date in the website's order page.
And I want to know if they will refund me my money if they are not delivering in "September".
That's what I have asked for them via email, and no answer.

If they have been ordered >500 miners, auaaau those are 2 million dollars in only 24 hours for a device that doesn't even exist !!!

Is this a remake of BFL, only 1 year later???

<mode ironic on>
I'm planning to develop "EvilAsic", a 2 TGha/s 14nm device for only USD 9,900 that will sent your asicminers, Avalon BFL and KncMiner to the stone age. I will accept 1,000 orders paid in advance. No prototype. No email answers. No refunds.
I'm also selling shares of my company.
<mode ironic off>

C'mon...

I'll buy 10!  Wink

Yes, but how do you know what place you have in the first place, let alone if you are in the first 500? This obviously is a factor when deciding to buy
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Swedish ASIC miner company kncminer.com on: June 04, 2013, 11:18:54 PM
I made a mistake while ordering and I was worried that if I cancelled my order and placed a new one I will lose some sort of place in the queue (even though I had a 2xx preorder so among the 1-500 group) I emailed Sam asking this, and he confirmed that preorder queue will be respected, also it took them more than 24h to send the bank info for my wire transfer:

As for your queue position that is based on your preregistration number so its safe and won't change

Thanks

Sam

Can somebody explain to me why I bothered placing an order on April 24 of this year (order # 1741)?  Will my initial order queue be honored/reserved or does KNC not give a crap about it anymore?  I'm pretty confused to what is currently going on.  To my understanding, everyone is getting into a frenzy trying to be the first 500 pre-orders.. but what about the ones who placed it waaay back earlier when KNC assured they will not request nor accept any money for pre-orders UNTIL* they have a product ready to ship.

I have yet seen any ASIC prototypes.  Are we getting ahead of ourselves here?

Dude I think if you were to order around now, you'd probably end up with a better queue position then before.

That's not me influencing you to order, just prob the first 500 are tied up, I doubt 1700+ are yet!!

Then what's the point of ordering a few months ago?  Was it just for kicks?  What I don't understand if why are there TWO (2) queue systems going on now.  If anything, shouldn't KNC be emailing previous reservers/queuers and ask if they wanna' pay?

I have. They won't tell me what place in the queue I am until I've paid. I pre-ordered way early too. Disappointed.

14  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: Avalon ASIC CHIPS Groupbuy AUSTRALIA on: June 03, 2013, 01:55:08 PM
sorry to hijack this post, but what I would really like is to do a big groups buy on Asic Alavon chips in australia (OK, new zealanders can be included too)
And I would like to pay from someone to fit out a room/garage in their house. I am happy to chip in money for bills etc.
Happy to work on the build and regularly meet up, but my small house in inner sydney is not coping with my GPU, let alone a big rig!

how did you all plan on housing the ASIC's?

Hi there, if your question was addressed to me I didn't get enough responses so I pulled out in an earlier post. Reading through though it looks like others are bringing in chips to our brown land
15  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: Avalon ASIC CHIPS Groupbuy AUSTRALIA on: June 03, 2013, 01:52:23 PM
I'm based in Canberra, and I don't know much about these chips. What can they be used for, and do they require manual assembly? What's the hashrate?

They have a Hasrate of 282 and you have to assemble them yourself or get them sent to one of the groups/ companies assembling them

I am interested in Avalon Asic groupbuy in sydney Australia. Are you still keen JollyGood?  Cheesy

Hi Mate,

No...I didn't get enough initial responses and am now pinning my hopes on getting a KNC mining machine. Best of luck though....it looks like it's first in best dressed in the war of the asics!

20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Swedish ASIC miner company kncminer.com on: May 12, 2013, 12:56:36 PM
Wasn't coming down hard at all, just don't think it's an option as refunds to buyers are not a feature of Bitpay.

You may have been lucky to have had a welcome experience with them, but it's not a feature on their site so it's not guaranteed.

Bitpay is set-up to entice the seller away from Paypal where it offers guaranteed payment and no chargebacks, not the buyer, where it offer nothing, but anonymity in the transaction if the buyer wishes. There's no assured payment protection.

I can only go off my own experience yes. I was lucky Bitpay offered me protection and refunded my coins. I'd like to see what KNC and bitpay would say about this arrangement. Emails from our community to these two entities might get things rolling. I'll be writing and will see what happens. Some support might help
