The video shows Mars hashing 6 giga hash using 400 watts.

Saturn will hash 175 giga hash with 500 watts only?

It's FGPA vs ASIC.  I recommend you do a bit more reading, this is a fairly basic important distinction in the two units.

Ok.  I thought mars is already an asic.  Thank you for clarifying.
The Bitcoin network protocol was designed to be extremely flexible. It can be used to create timed transactions, escrow transactions, multi-signature transactions, etc. The current features of the client only hint at what will be possible in the future.

GUYS

I ve a proposal for u

-I m inventing a new device Named MOON based on 1000 cores of existing SHA256.the device will have a hashing speed of 500GIGAhash/sec

But before taking your money we ll make an FGPA device wich will hash at 5 gigahash/sec. then we ll start to take your money to finance the MOON  device

so in that case you ll finance our business venture and we ll make MONEY on your back

Does that sound familiar?

If yes, please be carefull  if not, just start to think of what is happening here

thanks for reading

I have a preorder for a Saturn. Before checking out, I have sent them an email asking for the delivery date. I will post the answer (if any) in this thread.

24 hours later and no answer from KncMiner...

That's because the answer is September.  Asked and answered.

Can somebody explain to me why I bothered placing an order on April 24 of this year (order # 1741)?  Will my initial order queue be honored/reserved or does KNC not give a crap about it anymore?  I'm pretty confused to what is currently going on.  To my understanding, everyone is getting into a frenzy trying to be the first 500 pre-orders.. but what about the ones who placed it waaay back earlier when KNC assured they will not request nor accept any money for pre-orders UNTIL* they have a product ready to ship.

I have yet seen any ASIC prototypes.  Are we getting ahead of ourselves here?

Dude I think if you were to order around now, you'd probably end up with a better queue position then before.

That's not me influencing you to order, just prob the first 500 are tied up, I doubt 1700+ are yet!!

Then what's the point of ordering a few months ago?  Was it just for kicks?  What I don't understand if why are there TWO (2) queue systems going on now.  If anything, shouldn't KNC be emailing previous reservers/queuers and ask if they wanna' pay?

Ok Daggeteo, just emailed me this. So anyone with any questions and concerns that want them asked tomorrow;

PM him before 11am GMT+1!!

Make these Q's that concern everyone, or groups of people from particular countries, etc., not personal beef about every individual order...

It's the best chance of clearing up whatever you're not happy about, confused or concerned about with them in person.

i.e. Why can't we purchase as consumers? Why do we have to confirm we are a business?

Enjoy...!

Received  I'll add these to the list and ask them if there is enough time.

Many thanks for compiling these last ones. I haven't had the time to go through the thread these past two days in search of new Qs so I appreciate that you did! I'll be leaving prior to noonish so if there are any other Qs you wish to add please PM 11 am the latest.

Again, thanks!
