1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Best Speculative Coins to mine with GPU Rigs for 2018 on: January 07, 2018, 03:46:13 PM
Currently am mining about 250 Electroneum per day using nine GTX 1070s. I'm mining ETN as a speculative coin, anticipating it to go well above its present value of 8 cents per coin.

Are there better speculative coins to mine? I'm talking about coins that are in extremely early stages and at extremely low values that may not yield much mining profits today, but if accumulated could yield massive profits down the road.

For example, I would have loved to have mined plenty of XVG, XRP etc. last Spring, or some ETH in 2016.

So for 2018, what are the best low-value but high potential coins that you can pull in at high quantities per month?

Right now, I am saying:

ETN
COOCH (windows miner currently broken)

It would be great to add more to this list. Perhaps there are even better speculative coins than ETN to mine right now?

WTF? im using 2 rx 580 (1800 h/s both) and im getting almost 90 -100 per day in https://etn.spacepools.org/ ,

What is your hasrate?

I note a diference between pool payments, Anyone note it too?

If you estimate your earnings for example in http://electroneum.vip/#  got 92.61 ETN/day
in https://easyhash.io/pools/etn   got     46.30  ETN/day
in https://etn.spacepools.org/ doesn t have paltform calc but i got the 90 per day..

Why such a big difference?  The pool fee?

Regards,

zeef

Hey, Im new to mining. Could you tell me how you mine so much XSH? For example what are the stuff I need in order to mine like you?
2  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin reduces unemployment on: November 06, 2017, 08:11:48 AM
I think in the presence of bitcoin will reduce unemployment, because searching for bitcoin also requires hard work and creativity, and competitiveness in bitcoin is also high almost similar to work in the real world

What is your opinion this time?

Bitcoins aide temporarily some unemployed person but don't be so hook to it and be dependable since we doesn't know on when bitcoin could last so we should need to find decent job so that it can cather our need if bitcoins will fall or maybe try to build a little business where it can be your 2nd option so that we have another choices if things go bad in bitcoins.

THIS! I came to post that to OP, you took the words out of my mouth.
3  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Amazon gonna accept BTC?? on: November 06, 2017, 07:57:18 AM
Can anybody help me wrap my head around this - if amazon or some other major vendor accepts btc as payment, how would we pay for it? Current transaction fees are 70 dollars worth of btc. If it gets to 100, 200 or more, how are we going to pay without paying so much in taxation? Maybe we would use another cryptocurrency? Thanks
4  Economy / Economics / Re: Why You Should Never Sell Your Bitcoins Ever on: November 06, 2017, 07:41:22 AM
I was thinking about this: I'm with you 100% about not selling my btc, it would eventually grow to millions each. However, if governments start banning btc, major wars occur, some other kind of disaster hits us, people would probably want something safer, like land, silver, resources.... I'm on that train, if something major happens, I would sell 50% of my btc for safer resources. What;s your opinion on that?
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: ANN [DENT] Dent: Tokenizing and Liberating the World's Mobile Data on: August 20, 2017, 05:51:49 PM
I think it would eventually pay back up to 30 times considering what the project is and what it's worth now. Definitely a buy and hold.

One question though: If mobile providers eventually make data unlimited, why would people use dent?
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to sweep litecoin paper wallet? on: August 20, 2017, 11:42:22 AM
When I was sweeping private keys into Electrum and on the first one I swept, I got the successful transaction pop up, but I didn't click "Broadcast" as needed to add them to my wallet, I just clicked the close up button, because I thought I already had them in the wallet and broadcast was used to send them to another wallet/exchange. When I closed the window and realised I didn't have them there, I tried doing the same again, but I never got the Sweep button as a viable option, it was just grey and I couldn't click it. So, I tried sweeping it in WIF through Coinomi. But this didn't work either, because when I went to liteaddress.org and clicked on wallet details in order to get my private key in WIF, the key was never shown. I just got an empty form and where my keys in different formats had to be, there was just empty white space.

Any ideas how to get my LTC?
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: LTC on Electrum disappeared? on: August 20, 2017, 10:37:41 AM
Electrum does not support Litecoin, it only supports Bitcoin.

It has a LTC wallet as well.
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: ANN [DENT] Dent: Tokenizing and Liberating the World's Mobile Data on: August 20, 2017, 05:53:54 AM

Do you think it is best to buy it now or wait for the price to drop a bit after this growth?

price is just too low, an indivisual willing to invest and put a sell wall later can be a huge set back. so if you want to investz buy now before someon whale will take advantage of all these that you won't be able to buy hundred thousands after he bought it.

How much do you think the price of Dent would go up in 10 years time?

10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / LTC on Electrum disappeared? on: August 19, 2017, 02:13:22 PM
So, I was sweeping private keys from LTC paper wallet to electrum, I sweeped them, I got a txn file just for a reference, the transaction was deemed successful and no coin were added to my wallet? Any ideas why? Please help me fast, because I'm not sure what exactly happened. Thanks.

EDIT: False alarm. I probably messed something up in the sweeping, because my paper address is full. Im sry about this, but I got real worried there for a second and I had to ask.
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Upcoming Forks on: August 19, 2017, 10:35:49 AM
A newbie here asking, do you know about any upcoming forks? I read something about a ETH fork coming up in the end of this year and I was wondering what is best to do with your coins during this time. Keep all ETH-based coins in wallets and make no transactions? Is it possible for some of my coins to be lost? Are the prices of all those coins going to drop significantly, like a few times drop?

I read online about the subject, but I ended up having more questions than answers. If anybody could answer those, that would be great. Thanks.

12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / How to sweep litecoin paper wallet? on: August 13, 2017, 06:59:58 PM
Hello, everybody,

I have been  searching for a way to import LTC from my paper wallet to an exchange, but no success so far. blockchain.info supports only bitcoin as far as I can see. I read that Exodus has an option of importing private keys directly, but I haven't managed to do so.

Would you please help me import my LTC online? I'm opened to using any kind of site/wallet as long as it works safely.

Thank you and have a great day!
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are the best multi-currency wallets? on: July 20, 2017, 12:25:59 PM
Thank you, I will look into both of them. Could they both support any type of crypto?

As far as I get it, I could install Exodus on a usb and work with it this way 100% offline, correct? If I was to install on a usb though, would I still be able to back it up safely by backing it up on the usb, then put this file on (my computer turned off the internet) my computer and then email it to myself?
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / What are the best multi-currency wallets? on: July 20, 2017, 07:56:49 AM
Hello all,

I was wondering what how to safely store large amounts of different crypto. I decided it's best to store LTC on paper wallet. Then I did a research on Iconomi and decided to store it on MyEtherWallet.com. Then I found out this wallet doesn't support a lot of the coins I want to invest into. I read JAXX support a lot of coins, but I cannot find a single statement about what those coins exactly are, so I would save myself the trouble of making yet another wallet I wouldn't really use.

Bottom line is, do you know of a wallet (preferably free) which supports even smaller coins like Antshares, Iconomi, Stratis, Steem, etc?

Any tips on how to make such wallet safer? I know MyEtherWallet.com never stores any information about the transaction you perform, so all you need for working with this wallet safely is a paper wallet to store tokens to. However, is there a similar option for JAXX, or whatever wallet you may suggest to me as a good multi-currency one?

Thank you in advance and Cheers!  Grin
15  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Best trading platform for an european? on: July 17, 2017, 03:05:05 PM

I thank you all for your replies, I suppose I didn't really understand how simple Kraken's verification was the first time, otherwise I would have picked it a month ago.  Smiley
16  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Best trading platform for an european? on: July 01, 2017, 09:50:11 AM

kraken allows you to deposit euros and has quite a few alt coins as well as bitcoin.

it looks like their verification is pretty slow at the moment though.

other than that if you want to trade alts then buy bitcoin wherever and go to one of the alt only exchanges like bittrex. it don't matter where you live then. bitcoinic.nl, bitcoin.de, localbitcoins, all are good option to buy bitcoin in europe.

I made a research on Kraken as well, the only way I'm trading there is if I buy some bitcoins from wherever, as you put it. However, I noticed the traders at exchanges like localbitcoins sell large quantities of bitcoin for quite a bit of money. And I wanted to start with a small amount just to see how the system works, so to speak. I don't want to risk buying a lot of crypto, then losing it to a hacker only because I'm not very experienced at keeping it safe.

I'm fine with waiting through the process of signing up on coinbase, but some of the reviews I see about that platform... yikes! Frozen accounts, non-existant customer support, a bunch of people complained they even sent cash to their Lithuanian bank account, but never got a response about their account being activated. I suppose if I was to trade through coinbase, I would just instantly transfer my coins somewhere else after I'm done with the trade. Oh wait, people complain sometimes coinbase fail to transfer money to other accounts as well.
17  Economy / Exchanges / Best trading platform for an european? on: June 29, 2017, 05:30:45 PM

Greetings, everybody! Nice to meet you, I'm new on this forum.

Recently I wanted to start trading cryptocurrencies, however I find it difficult to choose a trading platform operating in Europe. I did a lot of research, going through every educational site I could find on the best trading platforms, but I always ended up either finding a platform that only works with bitcoins or which requires me to deposit already purchased cryptocurrencies from another platform. So, could you please give me an advice on where to start? I search for a place for me to deposit real cash, operating in Europe with multiple cryptocurrencies. I tried coinbase, as they seem like the easy choice, but I hear a lot of people being discontent with their services, so I would appreciate it if somebody told me about another route for me to trade crypto. Thank you in advance.  Smiley Smiley

Cheers!
