Are you in a pool or trying to solo mine?

Is it really worth doing LightCoins?  Can you spend them anywhere?

As far as I'm aware, there's yet to be a merchant that accepts them as payment.

I'm married  Tongue

bwahahah good one.

wells, maybe you could set me up with an ASCI, then I would be fine XD
tbh I don't have problems with bitcoin, maybe litecoin cause I have no idea how to get those miners to work xS

In regards to Litecoin, I thought about mining then decided screw it i'll just buy a bunch.  Then realized that getting USD into BTC-E as a Canadian is way too much work!

I think you're confusing wallets with the exchange...and someone should correct me if I'm wrong.  You can transfer LTC from your wallet to BTC-E, sell them and then choose to be paid out.  But I don't think you can mine coins directly into your BTC-E account.  Getting paid out after selling them on the exchange is a whole other ordeal.

You guys using Libertybit or Canadian Virtual Exchange?

Man, I was trying to get in at $55 a BTC and couldn't figure out how to buy them.  It's so frustrating that this isn't as liquid as it needs to be.  There is a lot of opportunity for coders to get this kind of stuff on the market for us traders !

For anyone new to Bitcoin it definitely seems frustrating trying to figure out the wallets and the exchanges to buy the coins!  Thankfully as a Canadian, I was using Libertybit.com who lets you fund your account via email money transfers to make it easy.
8  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Do you think we will see more Alt. currencies on BTC-E or possibly even MTGOX? on: April 23, 2013, 10:50:04 PM
BTC-E has a few alt-coins that can be traded for USD or BTC, and I could see Mtgox maybe opening up to Litecoin if it gains more popularity (and they beef up their servers).

I haven't read much that really makes me think the other crypto currencies will take off...people are slowly adopting BTC, so I couldn't imagine the argument behind accepting LTC (or others) as well.  They just don't offer anything different.

Hello fellow Bitcoiners,

Heard about Bitcoin a while ago, but like a lot of people only started doing my homework on it about 3 weeks ago.  As my interest(and wallet) grows, thought it would be great to start a profile on here and join in the discussions!

Look forward to talking Bitcoin.

Visit bitcoincharts.com and check out the different exchanges in your currency, they all have different fees and methods of adding funds to buy Bitcoin.

I think we just need more Bitcoin in circulation... Meaning just more people with Bitcoins, so that a large influx of people buying or selling wont have as big of an impact on the market.  That and I agree with the need of more quality exchanges.

Shawnna, I could easily walk you through setting up a Time Machine if you're still wondering.
