I think they desvere their wealth but ofc it is a bit unfair when you see a young guy who bought btc for 1k having 1 milion dollars now and the opposite some guys working 16H / day for 10 yeasr to get that money. Well you could argue that using your brain is key...
11  Other / Off-topic / Re: Should I Go To College ??? on: January 16, 2018, 12:14:00 AM
College is fun and gives you a good foundation for your future. Just dont get into too much debt for college.
12  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Does ages really matter in relationships? on: January 15, 2018, 11:59:48 PM
Age matters alot. Not the number, but your charakter changes the older it gets. you get differnt experiences and so i think relationships with too much of a age differnce wont work out.
13  Economy / Marketplace / Re: I've made 600k in Crypto - When to call it quits on: January 15, 2018, 10:56:48 PM
Hi Guys

I've been in the crypto scene for many years now, first time post here over a dilemma I am facing.

So, I am fortunate enough to make 600k from buying and trading Bitcoin and other crypto assets, and I don't know what to do with the money. Personally I think this is the year I will become a millionaire, as I can only see the marketcap of all coins growing. But friends close to me think I am an idiot for not selling yet, and if it were to collapse to zero, I would never forgive myself. But they don't know the market like I do, and I do believe that it is only the beginning. They say I should sell 95% buy a house, a car and live a nice lifestyle. I am frugal, have always lived within my means and never spent any crypto money as of yet, but I am tempted to start spending some of it now. I am 26 years old, rent an apartment and drive a car worth less than most peoples pushbikes.

My portfolio currently looks like this....

43% Raiblocks
40% Oyster Pearl
5% Enigma
4%Dash
1.5% Bitcoin
and tiny holdings in Waves, Lisk, Stratis, Game.....

I think that both XRB and PRL can double easily this year.

This is not based on greed btw, I want to make enough money so I can buy my siblings houses and see them mortgage free.

What would you do if you were me? When do we call it a day and give up trading?

Many thanks for your help in advance.

You are a newby in the forum yet you´ve made a small fortune in crypto? Ok, let´s assume that´s true and thus my advice is sell half and keep playing with the other half.

This is a pretty good advice. If 2018 is similar to 2017 then your 300k in raiblocks easily will become a million dollars.
14  Economy / Economics / Re: investing in masternodes on: January 15, 2018, 10:48:01 PM
I always believed that you'd need a LOT of money to run a masternode. And to not have all your eggs in 1 basket, you'd need a lot more money to spread your portfolio. So way to far away for me :-)

You just gotta take a risk and get into a Masternode Coin very early.

17  Local / Off-Topic (Deutsch) / Re: Liste mit den wichtigsten Cryptogruppen in Telegram on: January 15, 2018, 02:17:29 PM
Moin,

soll jetzt keine Werbung sein.
Ich finde es passend anzumerken,
dass die größte Telegram Gruppe überhaupt,
auch eine "Krypto Gruppe" ist.
Oder sind Kryptoheads einfach überwiegend Telegramuser?
Gibts da einen Zusammenhang ?
----

Did you know that #Electroneum hosts the world's biggest active @telegram group?
How awesome is that!
With over 35,000 users it's the Place to be!

Naja größere Gruppen als bei WhatsApp möglich und jeder kann übers Handy schnell und einfach chatten und mitlesen. Antwort ergibt sich doch von selbst. Außerdem brauche die P&D ja sowas wie Telegramm.
18  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Are the trading bots worth the price? on: January 15, 2018, 02:03:18 PM
I've bought a license to Haasbot a couple of years ago and I was pretty happy with it, their licenses aren't that expensive @ 0.035 BTC for a beginners one.
I think I'd made a total of 0.05 BTC profit in the end, but I felt that it would have been more useful for me if I had more technical knowledge of how the algo's worked.

Check it out for yourself here:
https://www.haasonline.com/pricing/

May i ask if you are still using the bot now? I'm thinking that if these bots are actually profitable the why isn't everyone using it yet? And if everyone started using bots like these wouldn't it mean that it would no longer be profitable because the trading pattern would already be so obvious to non bot users?

Personally i'm skeptical that a simple bot without any form of AI can earn 0.1 in BTC, especially with how volatile the market is. One bad trade and you could already lose a lot even without bots.
I am thinking to purchase too, but I cannot purchase since it really costly a lot, and I don't have yet enough fund for it, I hope that I can purchase it soon, so I can start and can change my life just like others. I have some friend here in our country who bought bot the time the price of bitcoin was still low and now they are benefiting a lot.

Dont forget you still need some money to trade with and you might loose it all under certain circumstances like bear market or maybe some wrong configurations from your side.
