1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: 1080Ti Specific - Best mining option on: August 13, 2018, 12:27:34 PM
Do you know what coin is more profitable these days? Until now I'm mining with ethash algo with etherpill and based on whattomine metaverse is more profitable nowadays with using pill?
Or there are some coins that can be more profitable?

Researching new shit coins, mining them and sell daily... I don't have the time to do this anymore so I am in your boat, stuck mining whatever calculators say is the best.  I tried some multi coin miners like nemos but I didn't seem to do any better if not worse.

Have there been any Nvidia miners released recently that improve mining BTX?
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: GTX 1060 discussion thread on: August 12, 2018, 12:56:16 AM
Looks like 1060 3GB soon will either be landing in trash or taking chances in spec mining.

Don't underestimate it. It is still good for mining other algos and.. gaming!

What is to not be underestimated, I don't underestimate it only for gaming and it doesn't quite excel there too. As for the mining if you use it with Windows 10 and Nicehash you will be making 0.05 mBTC per card daily or 0.00005 BTC daily. You are consuming more electricity than are making any money with it. Trash is the only place where this card will go and it will be soon I guess.

My 1060 cards have paid themselves off a long time ago.  Currently they are making double what I am spending in electricity and even if they make enough to just pay for the electricity I will continue to let them run.  If I mine some shit coins I sell them and buy something I believe in but..  I don't cash out my crypto besides a little every once in a while but mainly I am holding most of it long.  So even if I am breaking even right now, if it doubles or triples later in time then win...
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] zFastminer - Fastest Zcoin XZC miner (on poolside) for nVidia Pascal GPUs on: April 05, 2018, 12:55:19 AM
will this work on other lyra2z shitcoins or is it strictly for xzc?

What is the fee %?

Also, i'll let others test this software first. Don't believe for a second this isn't malware until proven otherwise.

This version is limited to MiningPoolHub so it's indeed only for Zcoin,
if there will be other important lyra2z coin we will consider another version to support it.

happy mining Smiley

I still don't see what the fee % is...

What is a good way to evaluate how much coins you can mine using a specific graphics card? Any help? All tips appreciated!

For those of you who use Sniffdog or other multi miners on pools like ahash.  What algos do you typically leave in the bat file?  Sometimes feel like it might not be on the most profitable.

switched all mining rigs to something else and stopped mining bulwark until they find a solution for their problems, and i might review mining it again.

Did the same middle of last week...

Ok, now i am definitely sure that miningpoolhub is not reporting hashrates and consequently earnings as they should be for Zcoin. With my 12 1080 ti`s i am getting about 41mh/s. The pool reports 25 the whole day! Tried with sp mod ccminer, ccminer djm34, cc miner 2.2.2 cuda9, and few other ccminer versions, and the reported hashrate is never above 27 mh/s! I`ve looked to other pools for mining zcoin and since suprnova owner (only other pool that had some serious zcoin hashrate) decided to remove zcoin from pool, miningpoolhub is the only one, unfortunately. There are other pools with dozen of zcoin miners at best and you can mine there and wait for a day or to for the pool to find the block.

MININGPOOLHUB ARE THIEVES!! DO NOT MINE ZCOIN THERE!!

I only have 3 1080ti's pointed to this coin but no issue on my end with my hashrate, it bounces +/- 1mh/s of what it should.  Also, getting daily payout of just about what whattomine says I should, which isn't much but too lazy to chase new coins right now.

Can't find details on the people behind this coin. How is a coin supposed to have a great future when there's little to no info from the devs, supporters, etc......?

6* 1060 6GB NVidia GTX will be great for mining Ethereum. The hash rate is about 130mh/s. So i think you will get 1 ETH in 3 months.

This is the 1080ti thread
1060 thread is here - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1575547.0

I came back to revisit your miner.  Cheers for the updates on this, it has come a long way since the first release.  I am seeing noticeable gains from other miners on the two rigs I am using it on now!

How much underwolt are you guys able to run on your cards while still overclocking? Im running my cards at around +100 core while having 90% power draw.

When you guys talk about +100 Core - what is your actual core clock?
I have an "ASUS ROG Strix GeForce GTX 1080 Ti OC" which has OC default so not sure how to compare my settings to yours

Every card is different, some of my 1080ti's can take only +80 while others can take +150 and some in between.  You just have to play with it to see where it breaks and lower it a bit.  Nobody can tell you what setting you can set for your card.

Real Profit mining on LUXcoin are very low compared with calculator or just is me??

same with me. calculator says 1.1 per day but i get only .6
I have one 1080ti. Calculator says 0,355 LuxCoin, and I get in last 24 hours 0,33187 LuxCoin

What pool are you on?  I have had similar results as other people.
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: GTX 1060 discussion thread on: January 17, 2018, 11:05:21 PM
I have 1060 3gb and I have 700+ with ccminer-64 on neoscript with memory samsung

FYI, algo's like neoscrypt (most besides eth) don't really use the memory. You can put it -200 and get the same hash rate.  It's all about the core clocks!
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][SITE][CRYPTO-COINZ.NET] Monitor your Coinz in real time! on: January 17, 2018, 02:32:16 AM
Thanks for the awesome site!  Do you have in the roadmap the ability the save your settings so I do not need to enter them over and over?

Well it saves your session now and the values should be the same every time you visit the site.

I was thinking like the other calc site that many people use... I have 3 different rigs, one with 1080tis, 1060s & amd cards which all mine different things better.  So, it is nice to be able to setup to see what is best for each easily without having to type them in over and over.  Cheers
