Yes, ripple is just another corporate company, it is not a coin. Why people mistake xrp and ripple I have no idea. Normally they have no connection other than company making some cash for themselves whenever they want. There is absolutely no correlation between the two because when the company gets a deal or signs a contract with some big company the price of xrp goes up as well but there is no need. They are not going to buy their coin back from you just because they made money, or they are not going to give you dividends on the profits they made. This is not stock or share of a company, it is just a way for them to sell and profit whenever they are short on cash. I do not know why ripple has been going on this long and I really hope it will soon finish because it is literally looking they it might be a scam for you and very dangerous. how much did they pay you to write this? A ceo that's working with the IMF, central governments, running a real company with offices all around the world is going to dump XRP to $0? gotcha. |

I completely agree with this and I also believe this is a move by governments and banks to subvert what crypto stands for. Essentially bitcoin was started to free us from banks and governmental control of money but then here comes Ripple. I just read IvyKoin and their primary use case is the opposite of privacy... they're advertising how much KYC data flows with each transaction.

whenever you hear a news about some partnership between some company, banks, corporation,... and a cryptocurrency (in this case ripple) all they care about is the technology that they are using.
in this case these banks are interested in the blockchain technology and how Ripple is doing stuff so that they can make their own centralized system based on it.
fake news like this can shortly pump these altcoins but not every time and specially not when they are already in a big bubble and are getting dumped hard.
The focus here for these banks isn't the token but the blockchain technology. Ripple in my opinion is technically centralized and currently artificial and its value is driven by Ripple Lab news.. and Ripple lab does not put any onus on its clients to use the XRP token. So that begs the question, what is the real value of XRP??nothing really!
