Hello UMC Community! First and foremost, we would like to thank everyone for their continuing support. We have been working hard to meet our goals and roadmaps for the coming months. We have some very exciting news! Our team is in the process of negotiations for listing on a NEW exchange. We listened to our community and we heard you when you said you wanted to have more options for exchanges. We want to assure you, we’re listening. We have also been making progress on our platform. We have made significant UI changes as well as nailing down functionality across the board. As these tests have been local, however, we will be pushing these changes to github soon. Keep an eye out for that! As a reminder, to stay up to date on all of our future updates, please check all of our social media: Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/UnityMatrixCommons/Twitter: https://twitter.com/um_coinDiscord: https://discord.gg/vUFkFFATelegram:https://t.me/joinchat/GL4DYE2TBhs7CeyURp2vxQ Github:https://github.com/umccoin Again, we would like to thank you for your unwavering support. Lets make rainy days bright again.

Hello, community! Preliminary testing with the wallet is going well and is at this time being refined. We will release a video to demonstrate the wallet once it is further along followed by a private test phase involving a small test group from the community once the wallet is adequately refined. If the test proves stable, a larger public test will be released. Progress is coming along on the application and we look forward to a wallet release in near future.

An update on our current progress is as follows. We are still working with the client and are currently attempting to sync the client with the network on the blockchain. So far it works in a test environment and must be stress tested once we solve this program communication issue to ensure it works across the network. Once we have confirmed it functions in a small test group a larger test across a greater volume of users will occur.
We also recently put out a poll asking the community if the utility we are working to provide should be usable in any hardship outside of the realm of insurance-related overhead costs and the response has been overwhelming yes to this question.
The changes that must be made to the client to function in this way will not be hard to accomplish as it involves removing some restrictions and rewording some of the interfaces and functions. We would still be using the original code submitted on the GitHub with some minor alterations.
The road has been long for us all It has been a wild rollercoaster thus far and regardless of the setbacks our team has no intention of walking away. We will do everything we can to push forward so we can provide a product and service to the contributors and supports who have invested their time and money into this Project. As always, we appreciate your continued support and look forward to bringing you more updates soon.

Sorry but we already have WeTrust for what you are trying to do with this project . I recommend you to sell your insanely overpriced tokens after the ICO and buy WeTrust tokens or better keep the ETH.
yes that's what we will do; I assume now that this token is overpriced, while other token have made huge progress without even raising a cent; umc stays idle. 90% of the world's population suffers from deep stress, you could at least help your supporters and distract them with other exchanges, maybe we could buy a drug with UMC token one day I posted earlier in the thread about how it was obvious this team put ICO money into their pockets and dumped the project on the current team. No one listened, I got out much earlier and now if you are still in you are down - Their demo is the same one they had during the ICO, it hasn't changed. But people just ignore this. ICO was 600 UMC, plus you got 600 free so 1 eth to 1600 or .000625 ratio. Current price is 0.0000101 on etherdelta. That is a -98.384 % if you chose to ignore warnings those who mocked me before, hope it was worth losing all your eth that would now be worth 1kIf you're out on the project, I suggest you don't come in here and continuously spout baseless FUD. The current team would never have agreed to take on the project if they didn't have every opportunity to succeed and you can see our github activity clearly here https://github.com/umccoin/umc-apiWe have a demo video of the project working locally end-to-end and we're figuring out the best way to beta test the application with a small user audience. Regardless of what anyone says, UMC is working to deliver a functional product and we will continue to do so. 1. User A opens a policy for X. Their wallet is debited and coins inserted to shared float wallet 2. Cool down period expires 3. User A opens a claim against policy, with proper boundaries for max 4. Random users vote on validity of claim 5. Claim expires and vote is tallied 6a. If successful, shared float pool transfers to user's wallet 6b. If unsuccessful, no op

Why UMC still not added to biggest exhanges? At last hit to kukoin not too hard still. And all tokens there growing like crazy. Your competitor (Ixledger) made 10x for last month only on HitBTC... and this is without top exhanges...
We're working on getting added to different exchanges, but our main focus right now is developing and testing the product (which actually has some bugs we discovered last night). We're hoping that we'll get added to bigger exchanges at a time that coincides with our launch. We know its frustrating to wait, but it's been VERY frustrating for us dealing with different exchanges and trying to get listed. Thanks for your continued support!

UMC Dev Last Active: Today at 01:40:21 AM Think to leav us some words when you come back next time
Not much to say here that hasn't already been said on other forms of media. We deployed a working version of the app to our test environment and are currently figuring out the best way to do end-to-end testing before going live. We're still on track for our current roadmap and if testing goes well we should be able to beat the schedule. We have interest from another company in potentially partnering/merging, but they'd like to see our app getting used before we go forward. Hope you all had a great holiday season!

The contract on etherscan still has the Umbrellacoin name. Is this possible to change or you need to create a new one? Moreover, can you confirm the total supply of the tokens? Around 3mil, right?
We would need to create a new one which we're not going to pursue. Redistributing all of the tokens would be time consuming, and the token name on the blockchain was not named as one of the assets needed to change as part of the rebrand. Total token supply is around 11m when factoring in public sale, private sale, bounty and team. Also quick announcement, we've been primarily using telegram and Twitter as a means of distributing news. The team thinks there are far too many communication channels to post the same updates. We have an updated roadmap, a working beta integrated with the blockchain, and partnerships in the works. Everyone should monitor our news site, Twitter, and telegram for more updates and please drop in to say hello. Many people chronically have the same questions https://www.unitymatrixcommons.com/news/https://twitter.com/um_coinhttps://t.me/joinchat/GL4DYE2TBhs7CeyURp2vxQif you create a new token, what about investors who have already bought your token through ICO? whether it will be renamed automatically? or should I exchange it with your new token? The problems you outlined is why we're not creating a new token.

The difficulty of hiring good developers is finding good developers. We've been very upfront about the developers working on the project. Right now there are currently 2 which you can clearly see from the commit history and they are certainly not agreeing to work for free. If you have any good developer recommendations, please send them our way and we'll be happy to consider them.

You called this demo?? This is not a demo version! This is set of pictures for school. I want real demo version and want to see pogress of work.
You can sign up for an account, create a policy, create a claim, view UMC wallet balances, upload documentation and vote on other claims. All of the code lives in our github and is being worked on daily. This is definitely not a "set of pictures for school."

When your new road map will be updated? And can you launch at last demo version before 2018?
We have verbally committed to a road map for 2018, but haven't published it formally yet. Here is the rough outline: December 2017 - Finish integrating blockchain code locally January/February 2018- Beta testing & bug fixing March 2018 - Client launch - feature complete & ready for policies! 2018 - Algorithmic Review, Automatic Claim Review, Bug Fixing Our original roadmap called for the client to be feature complete in February and even with developer turnover, we should come close to hitting that goal. We do have a demo version which you can see here. It isn't complete and isn't ready for beta testing, but let us know what you think: http://staging.umc.meteorapp.com/During this time, we are in contact with several large insurance companies about offering benefits packages on our blockchain solution. We are advising some, and potentially partnering with others. Nothing formal to announce yet, but we think as we get closer to client launch we will have a great chance of solidifying something. We're entering the busy holiday season, but that's not stopping our progress! We have blockchain integration and workflows working locally! This is a huge landmark for the project and we're one step closer to going live. We want to ensure everything runs smoothly and accurately when we go live so we anticipate 2-3 months of testing and bug fixing. Thanks for your continued support. We are also excited for the FinTech Connect conference in London next week! Many companies there like UMC trying to change the world! http://www.fintechconnectlive.com/

By your roadmap: October 2017 – Client launched November – December 2017 – Start partnering with existing benefits companies to offer UMC through their network But you still dont have nothing of this. When you will launch client program? Insuranse its a trillion business , and we can see at 100$ per token, but why you still didint make something? We have a sample of the client program at http://staging.umc.meteorapp.com/ which has been and still is under active development. The roadmap is out of date after we had development team turnover + had to fight the rebranding. Even with these setbacks, we're in a good spot. The only piece we're really missing is blockchain integration, and recruiting/ramping up new developers on blockchain tech isn't easy. We're hoping to get an updated roadmap soon, but we don't anticipate the client being fully tested and ready for launch until early 2018. We understand the market size and market need which is why we're very excited for this. We really appreciate your support and continued patience as the team works through a lot of unexpected roadblocks.

Scam coin. Developer ran with all funding.
Website also down. GTFO loosers.
As per team announcement, they are still on the way to rebranding anything about the name except the token that has been distributed. Look at the title of this thread, so I think domain Umbrellacoin.org will be rebranding to unity matrix commons. Join their new telegram channel to get any update from this project https://t.me/joinchat/GL4DYE2TBhs7CeyURp2vxQYes. The website domain was switched to https://www.unitymatrixcommons.com/, right now umbrellacoin.org should redirect to the new domain. We have been focusing very heavily on the rebrand effort in the past month, but thankfully that should be coming to a close. We should be able to redirect our time towards other developments in the upcoming months. As we said in an earlier post, we have some preliminary blockchain integration working and are focused on releasing a working client by early 2018. The timeline had to be pushed out as the team structure changed and we had to deal with the rebrand forced on us. Thanks for your continued patience.

Dev, when will it be release in the exchanges? We're all still hoping that UMC will be listed in a much better exchange since we don't know the equivalent price of the token that we received.
yeah that is also the point here they change the token name from umbrella coin into unicoin right well it sounds good but we all know that if this token will be not listed in some good exchanger for sure it will not be good and success. so it should be put in good exchanger. The name change was actually Unity Matrix Commons after we found out Unicoin was taken. The UMC initials are staying the same. Right now, we are on yobit which is a fairly large exchange by volume. The bottleneck of getting listed on exchanges isn't our team. It's exchanges who are unresponsive, or are charging very high fees for listing and maintenance. We're still working on getting listed, but don't have any timetables. This plus the rebrand has taken a lot of our time so thanks for your continued patience.

Do you planning partnership with other crypto-projects? And what about partnership with real insurance company?
We have had discussions with other crypto projects but don't see anything materializing right now. We've also spoken with some well-established companies who are attempting to implement their own blockchain solutions for aspects of the business. Those talks have been positive but we don't have anything imminent to announce.
