Some alt coins don't even bother making address validation, which is very irresponsible.

Users can easily send coins to a wrong chain, causing big trouble or even total loss. Case in point:

Bitcoin uses an unsigned integer for the timestamp, so the year 2038 problem is delayed for another 68 years.

WOW, I would have thought Satoshi would have used a variable big enough to go 10,000years... esp after all the y2k stuff

namecoins has no GUI you have to learn to use namecoind.exe on the command line which is tricky


Where can I find those commands?
I want to be able to transfer my namecoins to somewhere

you have to find windows namecoin ...

then run namecoind.exe --help

prepare to spend a few hours trying to figure it out Smiley
