1  Local / India / Re: India may ban Bitcoin on: September 22, 2017, 07:14:29 AM

Its not true. You cannot come to an outcome with this news.
Government of india is trying to understand technology of blockchain and bitcoin. And soon its going to regulate in India.
Bitcoin and blockchain based technology has very bright future in India.

Apparently there was a committee set up which then submitted its report to Jaitley and wonder what happened after that???

Are these guys really from Crypto Valley? If so great as would be great to meet/see them face to face !!!

Any roadshows or any events planned locally?
Also have been watching the ICO space for a while and saw only this one which targets Pharma & Biotech. As I see it this project was not promoted earlier wondering why?
8  Other / Politics & Society / Re: What are the Most Peaceful Countries? on: September 13, 2017, 08:00:50 AM
Hmm lets see dont know about peaceful 100% but in my eyes countries that are not trying to get into wars actively are (in no particular order) :

1) Canada
2) Switzerland
3) Denmark
4) Finland
5) Sweden

#5 in the list definitely don't belong there. Sweden has replaced South Africa as the rape capital of the world many years ago. The Somali, Afghan and other Muslim immigrants have turned cities such as Malmo as no go zones for the native Swedes. Unfortunately, the neighboring Finland is also slowly moving in the direction of Sweden.

Agree very true and in Switzerland too the same thing is going to happen. Was a very safe place but things have started to change and unfortunately not for the better. Cause of this has been a flood of various other cultures which see things differently and do not adapt to the rules and culture that we have.... Oh well lets see what happens.

10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Blockchain applied to Healthcare on: September 10, 2017, 09:41:58 AM
I think perhaps two projects that we're going to connect to the Healthcare System. I don't know what happened with them, but obviously they're dipping into a business that has a high amount of Regulation. Bitcoin is not much popular in healthcare business yet.

Nothing more regulated than financial industry and this we see successful today already. Full decentralized application like Bitcoin cannot be closed down by even US government

look to bitlicense: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/BitLicense
Government make very difficult to start company in New York City but does this stop bitcoin companies? You know answer!

Same thing to healthcare. I not afraid of regulation if application decentralized. Sad to say but I see many centralized healthcare ICOs like Patientory and Bowhead.
Look to MedCredits (MEDX)...look like they will make 100% decentralized and will not be shut down ever  Cool

It's a tough nut to crack, and I would say that any project that even got to the first level of approval through the healthcare industry would not become a live functioning project, for at least a couple years until all of the regulation and systemizing was worked out.

Not if decentralized project. Decentralized project not able to shut down. MedCredits without centralization.
What is teh decentralized? can you give an explanation for me? Where from the project gets its decentralized? and they are massively trying to claim that to be the decentralized project even claimed the to be the decentralized medical platform and that was a joke.

What joke? They 100% decentralized medical platform.
They decentralized: payment decentralize, data storage decentralize, doctor credentials decentralize. Find for me someone who control MedCredits network. Medcredits only make software. Once software made they no control of network. Only patient and doctor control.

Like ethereum. Vitalik make software then can not change network (except hard fork)

From Pharma industry perspective as its so regulated there is NO WAY that you can have anything to do with Pharma decentralised. Parts of it yes such as in supply chain and few other stuff but there other stuff such as medical data, Patient data and even Physician data decentralised!!!! Any Pharma company that does or adopts such solution or solutions will be shut down by the likes of FDA and other country specific Pharma regulators. Else people will make candy and sell them as life saving drugs...

Came across there guys and they are doing a soft launch www.biotechintel.com this is the 1st that I have seen targeting the pharmaceutical industry and overall concept and idea sounds solid to me.

Interesting and ambitious project targeting drug pricing and discovery. However, I have yet to see a direct benefit of the use of blockchain in the context of that project, a normal database could work just as well. Exciting project nonetheless.

Agree to your point it's an interesting project. What I don't get is these guys have no presence on either the forum or anywhere else for that matter. Wondering how are they promoting this or plan to promote this given that their ICO has already started?? Undecided

15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Alot of ICOs around, which one is scam free? on: August 30, 2017, 08:39:40 AM
Am actually new to cryptocurrency and I heard there are lot of scammers in crypto, I will like to hear from you guys, which of the ongoing ICO is legit and promising.
No one would able to identify or would able to say that a certain ICO is scam or legit this is why you should really do proper research on things regarding on their project, roadmap, whitepaper, developers transparency. There are lots of ICOs pop out in the market as of now and as an investor we should really research on those things and invest for your own risk because any project isnt guarantee that it would succeed later on.

This is the finest advise..
No body know which one is scam or legit.
All replies are just assumptions..

Do your own research.
Take your own risk.

Exactly. Well said!

This one looks very very suspicious I am not saying its a scam or not but very suspicious indeed. https://solomonex.info/
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Alot of ICOs around, which one is scam free? on: August 30, 2017, 07:21:22 AM
Thing is whitepaper, idea etc....etc may sound logical and promising. The problem is no one knows if the team is going to hang around and deliver what they promise and not sit on their new yacht in the Bahamas!!!!

Saying that cause there are way toooo many ICO's and its just overcrowded at the moment.
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Alot of ICOs around, which one is scam free? on: August 30, 2017, 06:41:23 AM
Its unbelievable the amount of ICO's out there looks like a crash is foreseeable as the market seems extremely overheated...
