1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is Gulden a good investment? on: March 08, 2018, 04:07:24 AM
I bougth my Gulden 3000 sato in september 2017 ...today 1310 sato ... my investment is divided by 3  ...

If you persist in calculating with satoshi you are right. But then you deserve that loss because of stupidity.
The average price in sept 2017 was €0,1015, The price now is €0,1155 so you have a profit instead of a loss.

FantoNas is not so good in calculating i think.

3000/1310=2.29 and not 3 a very big difference

But i ask myself.  Why, if you bought on 3000sat, keep on negative posting to lower the value of Gulden.  There are possible new investors who read this and that will not help the price.  I understand why RichPissman is posting but not you  Huh

Gulden is a cheap coin and his upward potential is much higher as a lot of other (overpriced?) coins.

On 12 januari it was $0.4860 and 3517 sat so you could have sold it also with a btc profit of  17% but because you did not do it and it was not good enough for you you are complaining now and are mad @ yourself.  Grin

When the PoW2 and SegSig update is out the price will reverse because there will be a 20% decline in PoW rewards and more traders will want to witness as it's a win if you want more Gulden. We all at the mercy of the development team when it comes to the low price of Gulden. No reason to complain here, push the development team for the sneak peak which was promised in the last update.

I am normally positive about Gulden but 2 WEEKS for a sneak peak is nothing short of insanity. I will apologies if the sneak peak ends up being a video of the new wallet.

Fudging hell, are the developers not doing work for other coins or moved onto ICOs? Has to be a reason for these delays.

In future, I hope your overwhelming trust in Gulden turns out to be right.

Me too. Let’s see. Thing is that thus far I didn’t hear anything to not believe that the update is not working as intended. On the contrary, testing and bug fixing, i heard, continues on a high pace. Will they finish before end of feb? Nobody knows I think.

And yes, maybe I got a bit emotional in my last post. I didn’t intended to sound arrogant.  A lot of people are just randomly shouting al kinds of stuff in here, without even knowing or checking facts. Get’s anoying by times.

I am a million % sure they won't be close to ready end of Feb because of SegSig. SegSig is the reason the gulden community is quietly wishing they had invested in anything else in the top 100.

PoW2 was about to be released in August last year. That would of meant less PoW rewards and dumping on the exchanges and 6 months worth of interest lost for those ready to witness.

SegSig has been a colossal fuckup of epic proportions and the team have not said sorry for 6 months loss of witnessing and soon it will be 7 months.

The irony is I will be called a troll in March when I was right.

It's important to do research before investing in a coindev team kids.

There, fixed that for you.

The nitros has run out and more boost is needed. You can go to the above link to help boost the development speed.

I did forget the devs are only part time on Gulden which explains the delays.

MaNI and Rits (Rijks brother) are full time devs for Gulden. The PoW2 and SegSig already had over 40 000 lines of code added when they talked about it on slack and others talked about it on here.

Part time dev would take 3-5 years to do a update this big. The whitepaper for PoW2 only came last year and then the project every hates called SegSig was added in August which delayed PoW2 by already 6 months.

So Flappie...
you have fun with my english
you have fun with the Rijk Pissman Nickname

but nothing about the fact !

And the facts are that :  all you previously said are wrong and false.
Gulden is a company
Rijk is the leader of this company, project
Rijk collected 600 btc
announcement , roadmap, etc  for now nothing has been delivered (no witness , no segsig)   so gulden today, is like all the other coin , nothing more nothing less
and if you are honnest you should know that 60k wallet is just a drop in the ocean.
and if you look how many people download G-dash (to be able to do witness) untill today 123 in the world ! is less than nothing.

So you are here just to joke ... with the goal to do diversion (just to hide the reality of the fact)

Most of the 600 btc was collected when btc was under $1000 and converted to Euros according to conversations on the other slack.
The company was created for tax reasons because of the premine and this places Gulden in a good position when regulation comes and all governments are starting to look at regulation.

Development has been the worst from when the coin started in 2014,in 2017 nothing was done because SegSig was added to PoW2 which was almost ready for release, a lot of people in the telegram group are angry about SegSig because it should of had it's own development and not combined with PoW2.

Read this for the worst day in Gulden history. PoW2 was ready for August!!!!!!!!!

More dumps needed on bittrex to match Nocks price.

Nocks               $0.204811
Bittrex              $0.217571
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is Gulden a good investment? on: January 30, 2018, 11:44:50 AM
Bittrex traders, lower your bids. The Nocks price is much lower, lets buy cheap Gulden while waiting for the development update.

Nocks $0.214009
Bittrex $0.223906
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is Gulden a good investment? on: January 27, 2018, 05:24:23 PM
About the whole SegSig or not, from what I see in the dev.gulden.com, both will get released in February

Since they really want those two releases together, I don't think they will split, there's no much use in splitting the releases if they are in a very advanced stage already.

And since the testings are going very well, they will be able to release both together, it will be a BOOM in the crypto market for sure Smiley

Good and bad news.

The good news first...
According to a poster in the telegram group it will be released with PoW2 and SegSig.

The bad news...
Update is expected in March only.

I would like to see the price drop below 2000sat before the release. Would some of the larger holders mind selling some coins to us poorer people in the community to benefit from and use for witnessing?
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is Gulden a good investment? on: January 18, 2018, 07:10:10 AM
Gulden on Nocks 0,18 euro right now. Couple days ago 0,38 euro.

I hope I never hear that Gulden is a "safe heaven" *** again.

It's because the Gulden team messed up and added SegSig to the release, PoW2 would of already been released which would of made this a safe haven coin.

I hate SegSig because it's preventing mass adoption by the Dutch people who could of been earning rewards for their Gulden already.

I will take a deep breath because testing did start and maybe an official release date soon.

No point crying about this because it's already in testing with SegSig included. It will work out better for everyone having this massive update and advancement in blockchain tech. At some point you have to move beyond the low price of Gulden and look at innovation they bringing to the industry.
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is Gulden a good investment? on: January 14, 2018, 04:40:20 AM
Any predictions on what the new bottom will be? Plan to get more coins before the update.

Prices on Nocks are holding up well, it's the crypto exchanges that are dipping. The coin really needs another fiat exchange as big as Nocks.
When is Guldentrader exchange going live?
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is Gulden a good investment? on: January 09, 2018, 07:28:22 AM
Is there any reason for Nocks having a small monthly limit of 100k ?

I don't know if it was done intentionally but it has allowed for a lot of new users to get into Gulden at a fair value and they also experience price growth at a slow and steady rate, if Nocks opened up larger limits gulden would be well on it's way to 1 Euro but the limits prevent rich investors from manipulating the market. The marketcap of Gulden is made up of a lot of users, Gulden has more users with coins in the wallets then stratis and waves put together.

Guldentrader exchange might end up being the one for rich investors.
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is Gulden a good investment? on: January 06, 2018, 07:12:30 PM
It’s getting better and better. Hard to keep up with all of the news.

Gulden has been implemented in Cash Register System MPlus.

http://guldenbites.nl/en/2018/01/06/yuluma-implements-gulden-in-cash-register-system/

Is it possible there is a group keeping the price down on purpose? Boggles the mind when you look at the other coins in the top 150. WTF is going on?

No idea, a few people I know have sold off their Gulden and started investing in ICOs. They got tired of waiting for PoW2. The ICOs aren't doing anything special in development but they market really well and you can make quick money selling each time it doubles.

Every new ICO gets pumped.
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is Gulden a good investment? on: December 23, 2017, 07:53:51 PM
I spoke to a few Dash community members about Gulden and PoW2 and SegSig. They said with Dash masternodes it provided stability and people with enough Dash to become their own central banks. PoW2 will be what attracts people to Gulden and ultimately have a positive effect on the price.
One of the more technical guys I spoke to, said he was watching Gulden but didn't think that SegSig would be possible, he also said SegSig wouldn't bring in the money like PoW2 as general users won't care about it but it's technically one of the best updates that has been done in blockchain history. The long term benefits of SegSig cannot be underestimated as blockchains become used more.

I told them that since it's in testing it has been achieved and the release date should be imminent, 2018 is going to be a good year for the Gulden.

Gulden devs with Nocks is doing good work. MaNI is leading this, he reminds me of Jeff Kaplan for blizzard. Best developer but never makes a noise and not well known.
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is Gulden a good investment? on: December 20, 2017, 10:25:32 AM
The moment of truth is about to arrive for Gulden, I know Biomike and Rijk proposed that Gulden would be more stable in price compared to other coins when bitcoin drops because it's more tied to the Euro. Bitcoin is dropping and it's time to see if Biomike (who i respect as a trader) and Rijk (Founder of the best coin in crypto) is right.

GRS was the coin of 2017 with all it's updates and $160 million marketcap. The updates weren't innovative but they keep up with bitcoin changes and copy good parts of other coins well.

Gulden devs should of kept PoW2 and SegSig as different releases because it stopped witnessing from starting this year and this would of created a large incentive for people to buy Gulden.

Since testing has already started there is no point in complaining but the coin should of ended the year over $ 200 million marketcap if the devs didn't want to create the largest update in crypto history.

Must be issues with testing as no updates from Jean.Luc. Investeerder going to be right about March release.

How do we sort out the Nocks problem?

Bittrex              $0.113851
Nocks               $0.097807
LiteBit.eu          $0.110448
GuldenTrader     $0.113158

Bittrex           $0.119650
Nocks            $0.125185

How does one sort out the bittrex problem? What do you say now MR Pump and Dump?

Appears Gulden would skyrocket without the btc pairings holding it back. What if Gulden was removed from bittrex, bleutrade when USD, GBP, CAN and other currencies are added to Nocks and Guldentrader?

For the people of Europe it would be better for Gulden to be removed from other exchanges. Rijk might want this if he sees the crypto world continue to ignore the coin but I could see the coin move to 1 Euro very quickly without the high btc price keeping people from using it to buy Gulden.

I agree Nocks , Guldentrader and the 3rd exchange coming next year will need to add other currencies before btc can be dropped.

Go fuck yourselves where is Nocks today?!?! Crypto world wins fuckheads.

On the old slack traders were always talking about 0.13 being the top on Nocks. It will take the PoW2 and SegSig release to break that and move onto .20

It's obvious bittrex is being held back.
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is Gulden a good investment? on: December 18, 2017, 10:03:42 AM
Looks like the testers are getting their friends and family to buy in. It's very unfair that certain group get to test SegSig and PoW2 and get the advantage of knowing if the update is close or not.

Tomorrow, -Friday the 15th-, the first 2 weeks of testing PoW2 including Secure 1-conf transactions, witnessing and segsig have passed.

Hopefully they will provide some feedback on results so far.

I expect to see 1000sat fall quickly when there is more proof testing is going well, especially from those investors that are still holding a lot of sub $1000 bitcoin. That is 2 million NLG, just over 0.5% of the entire supply which will be very cheap for some early btc adopters.
Depends who pulls the trigger first.

Investors will wait for the PoW reward to drop to 80 and then collect as many coins for witnessing as possible. +- 55000 new supply is coming on daily, much better when it's only 40 000 per day. Saving of 465 000 coins from miner dumps per month which will go to witnessing rewards.
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is Gulden a good investment? on: December 09, 2017, 12:26:50 PM
If I look at my transactions I can only see where the transaction came from. The 'account' is just a name which I gave it and when I click on the account it shows a different receiving address. Also the address isn't listed on the Receiving / Sending Addresses overview.

You will have to join the new slack, they will have a support type channel where this can be answered. I don't really need to know my old addresses, I was just told create accounts and save your recovery phrase.
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is Gulden a good investment? on: December 09, 2017, 12:14:50 PM
Now that we're talking Gulden. I noticed that when I bought some Gulden my receiving address changed. Anyone knows if that is how it supposed to function? My wallet is showing the bought guldens but the original address is somehow gone / not visible anymore.

Yes, you will get a new address after each transaction, for privacy sake, so no one can see what’s your complete stack. The old one will continue to function and is tight to your HD wallet recoverysentence.

But the client doesn;'t list this address anymore? How do you know which addresses you once owned?

In your transaction history you can see the addresses you received the coins too. The dev said the system has moved to accounts as it's more user friendly. This was part of the 1.6.0 release 1 year ago. It made it possible to link your Android and iOS wallets to a mobile account on desktop . You can control all your mobile wallet funds from your desktop wallet too. One day they might market some of the cool features they have done already.

Instead coins that copy bitcoin and eth with some marketing are destroying Guldens marketcap. This says to me the days of innovation being rewarded is over. We will know for sure when PoW2 and SegSig release.
