Sorry to ask a question that for sure has already been asked, but till now, are there available exchanges that are accepting btg deposits?
I want to know about exchanges with working wallets too I'm asking this especially because a lot have already added BTG in form of IOU, but i don't want to register in each to check if the deposit is actually working HitBTC has been accepting real BTG deposits for around 24 hours now (on and off, they've endured a few technical issues that have caused delays). I have a deposit pending as we speak (3/6 confirmations). Given their BTG volume, I expect Bitfinex are also taking BTG deposits. I've not confirmed this.

When it will be happen? I just heard about bitcoin gold recently. If the scheme like when bitcoin cash born, I mean fork on November, who is hold bitcoin on their wallet will receive bitcoin gold, this is good chance for buying bitcoin when bitcoin get deep correction.
Bitcoin Gold already started. The fork block was #491407 and some people have been synced and using Bitcoin Gold for nearly 24 hours now.

Handled it manually using some scripts I have but you can also use the cli createrawtransaction and signtransaction. Do not reccommend this course of action though obviously...
Ok. I was aware of this option but it's a bit too advanced for me and I was wondering if you'd sussed some more fool-proof method. Thank you for sharing. Have a 7.5095 BTG tip.

Oh no... Figured out how to move by segwit address coins. But converted bitcoins to satoshis incorrectly and lost 90% to a mining fee. If there is any benevolent miner out there please, please, please return the coins to the address the remainder was sent to. This is the transaction: https://btgexp.com/tx/a28063a818cb7acb66679427d5c71c82e71419e1fb258acaa7a7ed6617d17834Intended destination is that address in the transaction: GWiXeStRsUBRzRM3iRLkK7tjWcwaATyZmo Anyone know who mined that block so I can message them maybe? Please Oops. I'm curious. How did you handle your SegWit address? I noticed your Bitcoin Gold address begins with an "A", is this related? All the premined coins seem to have gone to addresses beginning with an "A", are they also AnyoneCanSpend outputs?

FUCK YES, download your own full-node and things should work fine, that said there are NO instruction anywhere how to build a correctly functional NODE that generates the correct chain, I learned by 3 weeks of trial&error, and ditto for SUPRNOVA.CC that did it right before they went live.
I did the same and made some notes here. They're far from complete but might be of help to someone.

Does any exchanger allow deposit BTG now?
I don't know about right this second but HitBTC has been working for me for the last 12 hours (on and off).

If I stick that address into btgexp.com I get: Search found no results.
Me too, but that's btgexp.com's problem. You can see your address mentioned on btgexp.com when you look up the txid: http://btgexp.com/tx/11f914b88918b734a879cddc0d911b1baf9916478cd2301065b6dca612992a1eI've confirmed these details on my own node with: $ ./bgold-cli -rpcport=8339 decoderawtransaction `./bgold-cli -rpcport=8339 getrawtransaction "11f914b88918b734a879cddc0d911b1baf9916478cd2301065b6dca612992a1e"`
All I really want is to sweep it into coinomi. I used bitaddress.org (code running locally) to generate the address. The original private key did not work in coinomi, key not recognized if I remember correctly, so I used bitaddress.org - wallet details to convert to WIF private key. Key starts with 5Jay. Does this key need to be converted to something else, if so, how. I don't want to download the whole blockchain to use the core wallet.
I honestly don't know. I've never used Coinomi. I'm using a full node to manage my Bitcoin Gold.

i had BTC in my Bitcoin Core wallet from 10/16 and moved it on 10/28 however when i export the private key and sweep the wallet in my coinomi app it says "the private key does not contain any funds". on https://bitcoingold.org/ i checked my balance for my addresses with the same result(s) as the wallet sweep in coinomi another odd thing... one wallet address had transactions for one day (.01 and .91) and i was only able to sweep that private key for (.01). what is going on?! If you're willing to share the actual address here we can investigate. I've had no such problems myself. I have the exact same problem, except this is/were a paper wallet. The address is: 19i24wX9EDemh1AKLBJB5mE7ShYay4XhBt Bitcoin funds were present from 1 Aug to 10 Nov, yet I can find no BTG. If someone can assist I'd appreciate it. This address contains 6.75 BTG. I see the txids on my own Bitcoin Gold full node (7 connections) and bitcoingold.org's balance checker reports the same. Perhaps the problem is with the software you're using. The Bitcoin Gold form of your address is: GSYwV4r6D5G4mUTcG7xHWXa1MsLRwKhKBH

Is anyone else having issues transferring from Hitbtc main balance over to trading balance?
Getting "An error occurred, please try again later" message.
I'm getting that error trying to move ZEC from the trading floor to my main account for withdrawal. If this is affecting multilple coins and both directions then I imagine that fixing it will be their foremost concern. I'll check back in 5 minutes.

How many confirms are HitBTC taking to credit (sent from Coinami).
Is it a multi hour wait type thing?
I don't know about Coinomi but HitBTC is displaying incoming BTG deposits as pending after 1 confirmation and accepting them as clear funds after 6. At least, this is the intention. They are having some trouble and a couple of times now I've seen a transaction reach 3 confirmations before it's even acknowledged by HitBTC and take 9 or 10 to clear. Also bear in mind that Bitcoin Gold blocks have been slower than 10 minutes each on average over the last 12 hours.

Finally managed to sync, import private keys, send Bitcoin Gold to an exchange (HitBTC), trade, withdraw, and confirm the withdrawal. That was an ordeal!
Does anyone know if there are withdrawal limits on crypto at HitBTC these days?
how did you do that?,...which wallet? I have Bitcoin Gold 0.15.0.1 fully synched (on Linux) and am managing coins using bgold-cli. $ ./bgoldd -rpcport=8339 -connect=localhost:8333 -bootstrap -skiphardforkibd
This created a new .bitcoingold folder in my home directory and the node proceeded to sync up to the fork block by connecting to my Bitcoin Core node. This took about an hour and consumed no bandwidth. You can check progress with $ ./bgoldd-cli -rpcport=8339 getinfo
If you don't have a Bitcoin node then just omit "-connect=localhost:8333" but this will consume I guess around 150 GB of bandwidth and will probably take a day or so depending on your connection speed. Once you've reached the fork block, kill the node and restart it with If you're struggling to get any connections you can try adding nodes as others have explained recently in this thread but I expect you'll connect ok now. I interact with the node and wallet using bgold-cli. Some examples: Importing a private key: $ ./bgold-cli -rpcport=8339 importprivkey KzUj...eTX9 "" true
To import multiple private keys do the same but finish the line with false for all but the last key to avoid rescanning for each one. Checking my balance: $ ./bgold-cli -rpcport=8339 getinfo { "deprecation-warning": "WARNING: getinfo is deprecated and will be fully removed in 0.16. Projects should transition to using getblockchaininfo, getnetworkinfo, and getwalletinfo before upgrading to 0.16", "version": 150001, "protocolversion": 70016, "walletversion": 139900, "balance": 2057.86118500, "blocks": 499934, "timeoffset": -1, "connections": 2, "proxy": "", "difficulty": 5188865.299493919, "testnet": false, "keypoololdest": 1510527535, "keypoolsize": 1999, "paytxfee": 0.00000000, "relayfee": 0.00001000, "errors": "" }
Sending 1 BTG: $ ./bgold-cli -rpcport=8339 sendtoaddress "GN1TFHAjkfBEH2gxQ2sarrwACatLdQFuL7" 1 9c50eb6b626a2ec6f89aed9b3001f6e47d86b6dfb633bfec65e1bd63a230334b
Checking the status of recent transactions: $ ./bgold-cli -rpcport=8339 listtransactions
HitBTC accepted my deposit after 6 confirmations (which took about 2 hours). The rest is cake.

I tried to do the trick where you just copy over a version of your Bitcoin Core ~/.bitcoin folder from before the fork date (so you don't need to resync the entire blockchain, this worked for the Bitcoin Cash fork) and it did not work for me here with Bitcoin Gold.
Should it have?
Yeah, that didn't work for me either. The best I could come up with was bootstrapping from my Bitcoin node (running and listening on the default port 8333). The command I used was $ ./bgoldd -rpcport=8339 -connect=localhost:8333 -bootstrap -skiphardforkibd
This took about an hour. I was able to check my progress with: $ ./bgold-cli -rpcport=8339 getinfo

I sent my bitcoin cash to a BTC address by mistake. Please what do i do. Value is $1000 help me and ill pay you $300
Very Experienced people only
How was the BTC address generated? Was this a deposit address on an exchange? No, its my btc address on another wallet app Which wallet app? Are you able to get at the private keys? If so, your BCH are probably safe and sound and you'll just need to import/sweep the appropriate private keys back into your Bitcoin Cash wallet (move off any BTC at the same address before you provide the private key to your Bitcoin Cash wallet for safety). If not then get technical support for the specific app you sent the BCH to (there are plenty of dedicated threads on this forum). All you need to ask is how to get the private keys. If you can't get them (because the app provider holds your coins or because the app has an intrinsic multi-signature setup) then you will need the provider specifically for help retrieving your BCH (don't hold your breath).

blocks arrive faster meaning there are enough hash there, so it's not a bad thing
In general, yes, but due to the qwirky nature of REQ-7, there was a brief window of opportunity to reduce difficulty by an extra 20-60% over the next few blocks. By mining just a little bit too quickly, we missed that opportunity and will likely have to work our way through 786 blocks at the higher difficulty until the next retarget. It would have been far more profitable for Bitcoin Cash miners if they'd have just paused for three hours or so. This would also have given us significantly faster blocks for a week. Technically, we could still catch the tail end of this opportunity, but it would require us to go a couple of hours without seeing a block. We can't really expect this at what is now 50% difficulty but maybe we'll get lucky.

Unfortunately, it looks like we'll only get the six drops before the usual retarget event. Barring future dishonest timestamping, we missed the chance for seven difficulty drops in a row by mining block #478577 just 53 minutes too soon. We can still hope for a seventh difficulty drop with the following block (#478583) by hoping that the next block (#478578) doesn't arrive before 04:38:19 UTC.
