damn, I wanted to use my neo for RPX ICO but now the value is so low  Doesnt matter, you'll get the same number of tokens whether NEO is $1 or $1000 thats true but the coin total will be diluted heavily unless neo makes a remarkable run in the next few days. Cuz the coin total is dependent on neo price. For example neo at $20 15,000,000/ 20 = 750,000 neo needed to meet the hard cap leading to 750,000,000 coins of rpx neo at $100 15,000,000/100= 150,000 neo needed to meet cap so 150,000,000 rpx coins way easier for coin to get high returns with lower supply I will still buy 200 neo worth of this ico |

This will be the first of NEO and has a 15m $ hardcap.
I believe it will be a success!
They already have a working platform also, its def a good ico to invest in hopefully doesnt sell out to quick |

What are the thoughts on this first ICO on NEO platform? Thinking about investing 200 NEO in it, the team looks pretty good. 30% bonus on day 1 of crowd sale. If you are 1 of the 100 people selected for pre sale you get 40% bonus. 1 neo = 1,000 rpx coins.
What dose everyone think of this ICO. This would be my first ICO investment

Wow it fell below pre segwit price, whats going on with this coin. Really thought it would at least remain stable in the 1.20-1.30 range

Lol...welcome to alts.. this is a long term hold. Remember Monero? My 3rd post here was about it back in June 2014. Patience is the key, buy low, sell high!  i am def holding my bag not planning to sell, it was my first altcoin investment and i believe in via will go very high in 2-3 years |

I am also happy with my choice. Looks really promising even though there is a ton of cryptos in existence by now. Dedicated dev is definitely key.
Yeah, the developer is doing his job very well, the rest is up to us. There are a few simple things we can do as a community to boost the profile of this coin: 1. Post in this thread. Seriously, if you open this thread, and see new discussion, post a reply. Don't hesitate. I'm not saying you should post gibberish just to bump the thread. Contribute to the discussion and create a more active community. Don't let the thread stagnate when joining the discussion is such an easy thing to do. 2. Post on the subreddit. Same reasons as above. The subreddit is pretty much dead at the moment, which really isn't a good look. 3. Follow Viacoin on twitter. We can't expect non-investors to get enthusiastic about VIA if they've never heard about it. In the long run, it would also be great to get a Viacoin community message board set up, like the one NEM has, but I'm not sure what that would entail. agree 100% I downloaded the new core wallet but its still stuck at same block from before is there anyway I can delete everything? I uninstalled and re installed but its starts and stuck on week 19 |

Hm, segwit activation should really have boosted the value of this coin. Perhaps the community needs to be more active in promotion. I've got a few VIA so I'm willing to contribute in any way that I can.
I was expecting big things after Segwit activation at least 2 dollars but the price keeps falling. Anyone know whats going on, VIA is having a hard time holding its price Stable is Ok while BTC is rising. It should shoot up when btc stabilizes. Pick up more on drops and you will be the wiser. Its not stable tho :/ its dropping slowly down to 1 dollar range, maybe it needs more marketing so more people know about it? I am holding a decent sized bag hopefully one day it shoots to the moon |

I have let it run and up to 43,000 blocks, its been on for about 5 hrs. Is it suppose to be that slow, I am relatively new to cryptos so I don't know if I am doing something wrong.

Big advantage when holding a big bag for VIA coins since a few weeks ago but I've sold it and re-bought some now for long-term investment.
I think VIA is definitely worth it to be considered a long-term holding. I def hope so, hopefully after august 1st the coin can go to the moon |
