Thanks! I received it. I'll be PMing you.

Yup! Auction is over willBTC is the winner with BTC2.55 for the 5 shares. Nice! I want to go through the transfer tomorrow, and I will PM you the detailed information.cause I have to go to some sleep. Okay cool. Once you send payment to my address, also send me a PM containing the following information: 1. what address do you want me to ask friedcat to send the dividends to? 2. current date/time 3. my username and yours And sign it with the address you used to pay, please and I'll proceed from there. My timezone is GMT right now, FYI, in case you want some idea of when we might both be around.

Haha, damn! You're gonna make a killing at this rate if nobody else chimes in. Havelock AM1 is up to BTC0.63

Thanks. I can appreciate both concerns. Personally, I feel like with things like Mt Gox, some people might prefer to just outright have their own assets instead of "hosting" them elsewhere. I'm shying away from escrow because I don't like the idea of middlemen when everything on this topic is un-editable, but I do see why people want it. I suppose if I can't sell them I might try that. I just don't like having to use middlemen.

|
BTW, the starting bid right now is currently lower than the Havelock AM1 price (BTC0.5020) and these are direct shares, not shares sitting inside Havelock.

Hi! I just meant if you go through my message history you might see that I had a similar option a few months ago. And since this wallet address only receives the dividends for 5 shares, I wanted to be clear that they are still very much available. I didn't really understand the first time around how to write and sign a message with sufficient information in it and I think the other posters were concerned. Nothing more than that

Hello. I'd like to sell five direct shares of ASICMINER. The info is in the signed message below. The TL;DR version is: Auction ends: Friday, 28 Feb 2014 at 17:00 GMT Starting bid: BTC2.45 increment: BTC0.01 Escrow: no Address: 13MDSpxeP5oGRnb9y7ssjBVy1SAkocQo6e -----BEGIN BITCOIN SIGNED MESSAGE----- I am zrgf. It is 16:48 GMT, 26 Feb 2014. I have 5 (five) direct ASICMINER shares to sell as 1 (one) lot, so no individual shares, sorry. The auction ends on Friday, 28 Feb 2014 at 17:00 GMT. The bidding starts at 2.45 BTC, bid increments are 0.01 BTC. This message is signed with the address that receives the dividend for those shares: 13MDSpxeP5oGRnb9y7ssjBVy1SAkocQo6e and payments will go to that same address. I'm not doing escrow, sorry. Last time I tried to sell these shares I failed. Here's my second go. Thanks! I will message friedcat and have the dividend address be updated to yours and you will have your transaction + this signed message as recourse. I hope that's good enough. -----BEGIN BITCOIN SIGNATURE----- Version: Bitcoin-qt (1.0) Address: 13MDSpxeP5oGRnb9y7ssjBVy1SAkocQo6e

I hate to be a nitpicker, but your signed message just confirms that someone on the internet with that address is recently selling 5 shares. Personally identifiable information (e.g., your username) helps narrow that down.
For instance, I could now take all that information you posted and move it to another website somewhere and "sell" my asicminer shares on the same basis.
Furthermore he does not accept escrow... OH! Now I get it. Because that just shows whoever wrote the original message owns the address, but DOESN'T say it was zrgf. Duh. That was stupid of me. Thanks. Even though the auction's over. Just for posterity, here's proof that I do in fact own that address: I am zrgf and I should have said so in the first message. Oops. 2013-11-03 20:49 HPpeEtgD9WjyXLXNvTqpyJuV85PZMGlDzHX8M/4B0pJOkyqlN7JHl5XA+n3z26l9M50UVZoQBEaqSjWcx8gJdb4=

Hi. Well. The end date has passed! So I guess no buyers.
But the point of the signed message was that *that* address receives the dividends. And there are public lists of ASICMINER share holding wallet addresses. So maybe I've misunderstood something, but I thought that was a way to prove by ownership of the shares.
And as for escrow, I figured if it's provable that you made a payment to that address based on the public contents of this thread, then even if I ended up trying to renege on our deal, it would be obvious to friedcat what had happened.
But anyway, maybe I'll try an auction with different methodology in the future. Thanks for reading anyway!

No escrow, sorry. I understand if that dissuades you. Bids are binding. All the usual rules apply. Please provide a Bitcoin wallet address and email address to forward to friedcat. Please pay within 24 hours of the auction's end. The sooner the better so that next week's dividends go to you. In case somebody comes back here to look, as soon as the transaction had a few confirmations, Reckman sent a signed message to friedcat earlier today asking for a stock transfer to my address. Thanks!

Let's cut to the chase. 10 @ 1.90
Good offer, not many are going for more. Will close auction early in 4 hours from this post. Just checking if this auction is over now. I think it's been four hours?
