1  Economy / Goods / Vinyl for Sale - classic rock.. marley, beatles, who, stones..... on: January 20, 2014, 07:43:12 AM
Hello,  I've got a little vinyl I thought I'd offer up for sale. I'd say the lot is in mostly very good condition.  If you'd like to know more about any record, just let me know.  I am happy to provide further info on condition or catalog number.  These are all original pressings and just a nice lot of classic albums.

I am happy to accept bitcoin or litecoin.  Bitcoin based on coinbase price.  Never messed with litecoin but we can figure that out.

If this goes well, I'll list more.  If you are looking for something, just ask.

I realize I don't post a lot.  I am an amazon seller, bitcoin supporter, and I've used phishken on the net for 20 years... its not hard to figure out who I am.

2  Economy / Goods / Re: [WTS] 90% Junk Silver for BTC on: May 01, 2013, 01:54:04 AM
Serious lulz in this thread.  90% junk silver is as every bit as good as 999.  Maybe you aren't aware of the serious shortages of 90% in the market right now... well 999 too.. .but previously really cheap 90% has been seeing increased premiums to the point people are selling 90% to put the money in cheaper 999.   The 22x face isn't a horrible price considering the shortages, it could be better though.
3  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why doesn't gox have money in their Dwolla????? on: October 07, 2011, 08:19:21 PM

I'm not trying to start panic, the total of my transactions was ~$300 USD, so maybe they're giving smaller withdrawals out first? I don't know, but we should get someone from Gox in here to explain why this might be.

Four days ago I transferred $1974.00 from Gox to Dwolla with zero problems and from Dwolla to BOA where it is right now.

I'm calling this FUD.

Was it an immediate transfer for you?   Do you know why I'd be waiting a few days for a $147 transfer?

I transferred money out of Gox to Dwolla on Wednesday night (5th) and its still not in my account.   Anyone know wtf is going on?
They don't have the money in the account.

So how do I get paid?  Or is mtgox playing games?

6  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are criminals stealing electricity to mine bitcoins yet? on: October 04, 2011, 12:01:25 AM
First off only stupid pot growers steal electricity.

That is not true.

Many serious, large-scale growers steal electricity.

Whether it's a Vietnamese criminal gang operating out of a house in the UK or one of the best Dutch growers using a cavity inside a highway bridge lined with electricity cables, both will steal their electricity. Both are highly profitable. Neither is stupid.

Yes pros do steal power but I still think it is a risk that is not needed.

Someone should contact all the online cannabis seed companies and let them know about bitcoin.  An anonymous payment service has been needed for a long time.

First off only stupid pot growers steal electricity.

Secondly, growing pot is far far more work than running a bitcoin farm.

You have to start seeds, or maintain mothers.  You have to clone - prepare plants for flower.  This alone with roots and good growth can take 3 weeks to a month.   Plants need watered constantly.  Even a very automated hydroponic system needs water and nutrients topped off every other day.  There is always work to be done.  I'd say a 4000w system to keep running no with interuptions between crops you are looking at 2 hours a day of work.  Then once the harvest comes in, I'd say at least very minumum 24 hours of trimming work.  A week of drying then more work preparing for sale.   Not to mention the complete cleaning of the grow space between crops, more hours of work.

Heat from a garden is way more than a mining rig will ever think of being.  Then you have to dispose of the heat.  Try dealing with 4000w in the middle of summer   Shocked

A professional gardener will make so much more with cannabis than with a bitcoin farm.   A professional grower will be doing 1.5lbs per 1000w and most pros will have 3000-4000w minimum.   So 4-6lbs every 60 days.  Retail in my area for high end dank $400/oz x 64oz (4lbs) = $25,000 every 60 days on the low end.

Gardening is a labor of love and for a professional it is a very lucrative endeavor.   I'd still be at it if it wasn't for a few douchebags with badges.
8  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [5128 Gh/s] DeepBit.net PPS+Prop,instant payouts, we pay for INVALID BLOCKS too on: September 16, 2011, 06:42:32 PM
Still unable to change my wallet address in the Deepbit system.  I've watched the price drop from $15 to $5 and have been unable to sell any coins because my coins are stuck (held hostage?) in deepbit.

It has been 2 months now and still no help.   Tycho, please man.  It would take all of 2 minutes of your time dude.   Your confirmation system is FUCKED.

I've been trying for a few months to get a little help changing my bitcoin address in the deepbit system.   I've never received a conformation email.  I've asked Tycho for help many times over the last 2 months.   I just want to get my coins into my wallet.

Tycho, can I please have your help on this matter?
10  Economy / Services / Need a website on: August 25, 2011, 06:16:15 AM
I need to build a new site for our mom and pop aquarium, fish, and salt water coral store.   We had an os commerce site a few years ago and it did okay but it had a tired look.   We are just looking for something that is simple but nice.   I can link you to a few sites of what we are looking for.

We would need full install of the site and some follow up help now and then after its built.

If this is a project you would like to work with us on please pm me.

Howdy Yall.

Ken from Oklahoma here.   Not sure how many miners are out here in Oklahoma, but I've been mining for about 2 months now.

Looking forward to participating on the forums.   All the best.
14  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Mt. Gox drops to 20, reconsidering your mining rigs? on: June 10, 2011, 08:22:48 PM
Corrections are healthy, especially after such a rapid rise.   Let it build some support in the 24 level for a few days and we can take off again.
