3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] SPECTIV: VIRTUAL REALITY + DECENTRALIZED ADS - 10,000 ETH ICO! on: August 27, 2019, 07:05:50 PM
The only reason the price was up is because there was no proper liquidity in the market. 25% rise with the volume of just $200-300 was no rise at all IMO.
Big spread, low volume and crap market. that's become a very good combination for us. I just try to consider that as proof if this is a really amateur team. They have raised 10k ethereum according to their smart-contract address and they have been running away with the Lambo that can be bough with all of the raised ethereum. it's a crap market and 25% increase for shitcoin means nothing

Didn't hear from this project for a long while and I have a lot of tokens which have close to no value now. Does this mean what I'm thinking it means?
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] EOSex: The hybrid Exchange for EOS Community - ICO successfully Completed! on: June 04, 2019, 11:05:20 AM
The OP is still mentioning a lot of prestigious partners for EOSex - did anyone try to contact any of them to ask if anyone has any clue on what's going on with the project?

It would have been an appropriate thing to do during that time. I'm not sure about the project anymore so the only thing that I can also say is wait. Be reminded that I'm no part of the team. I was just asked to moderate the thread and got paid as well. Those prestigious partners somehow appear to be right as the EOSio tweeted it themselves thru their account. I wish the team could fix issues as soon as possible.

I guess the bear market has created huge problems of liquidity for so many new projects, but more than that it has crashed a lot of weak minds which couldn't handle the stress of ever diving prices. EOSex trouble could have been caused by a combination of both factors. But who knows, maybe once the bullrun will resume for real some miracle could happen and the project go back on track. Perhaps.

Situation is looking ominous indeed. Why wouldn't the team not keep in touch with the comunity? Not a good sign.

I want to know how much money is collected from the ico program, besides what will Eosex do to deal with the current price volatility, and maintain the eosex?

There were a total of 1,802,864,039 EXP sold, out of a possible 2,500,000,000 EXP. The overall value of those tokens depends on the current price of EOS.
You can read more details about the ICO here: https://eosex.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/360020269992-Major-EOSex-ICO-Success-and-The-Future

An excellent result indeed. After reading this report I'm getting curious about when is it extimated that the exchange dividends will start to be distributed among holders.
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Wortheum - The World’s 1st DPoS Based News Platform on: January 13, 2019, 03:59:03 PM
This ANN is making a captivating statement without delving into any details and then most of the written text is reserved to how to buy the tokens. I guess I am well understanding which is the priority of the team.
9  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: With a booming on 2017 and difficult time on 2018, will Bitcoin recover on 2019? on: December 30, 2018, 11:59:23 PM
If we will follow the same path we had during the cycle in 2013-2014, then we may have still another year af flat prices around the current bottom before the price would take off again. A time needed by many for accumulation. But, of course, future is unpredictable. So anything may happen.
10  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: People with most bitcoins should be in their 20's by now on: December 30, 2018, 11:57:11 PM
Most are probably on their 30s and 40s, especially those with prior interests in cryptography and a digital cash system (Nick Szabo, Hal Finney and others, just to name a few). While the majority of those with interests in crypto are in their 20s, it's undeniable that those whales are somewhat older, due to their money and experience in the field. It'll be cool to know the demographics of bitcoin users but then again, that goes against 'privacy' and some statistics regarding age groups of bitcoin users may somewhat be unreliable.

Some would also be in their 50ies - I know some, who had noticed Bitcoin as soon as it made its appearence and they were in their 40ies and immediately felts its potential. But perhaps, they didn't get into mining then...
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: HODL for only the brave !? on: December 30, 2018, 11:54:00 PM
HODL for only the brave  Huh
What do my friends say, I think our hopes will be rewarded! Wink

HODL is for the brave - or for the desperate. Once your asset has lost 99% of its value your only desperate choice is to HODL. Too late for being brave. You are brave when you HODL an asset which has lost up to 50%.
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH is making some noise in the crypto market on: December 30, 2018, 11:52:01 PM
I guess ETH is back to its pavilion now, nearly it has pumped upto $50 from last week and slowly rocking, Yes it was really struggling this entire last quarter due to continuous price fluctuations. I hope it will regain its position as king of Alts.

I'm not totally confident it will. ICO's have first caused ETH's mooning, but then collapsing prices of most of the tokens issued on Ethereum has caused a sell-off of ETH as well. Trauma is big and it'll take time for the market to recover confidence.
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 55K loss, how to get back into the game on: December 30, 2018, 11:49:44 PM
Folks, what a terrible year 2018 has been so far. I invested around 60K and now left with 5K. I did terrible mistakes and I hope there would be a turnaround sometime next year or so. Any suggestions?

I had experienced the same ordeal in 2014 and I had left crypto in frustration - but I did not sell my coins. When the bull resumed I've got back all my money with huge profit. What you could do, if you have FIAT left, is to average down, trying to buy the bottom.
14  Economy / Economics / Re: Crypto replacing fiat? on: December 30, 2018, 11:47:08 PM
Lets say crypto completely and utterly replaced fiat. Fiats don't exist anymore. All governments have seen the advantage of using digital currency and have completely changed their fiat into crypto, like dollar to dollar token(obviously not tether). How viable is this? For example anyone can see how much I am holding using the public ledger and track me down and force me into sending them the cryptos I hold. I wanna discuss in reality if cryptos actually replace fiat how life will be and what are the problems we are gonna face and the immediate effects of it.

I guess this scenario is still too much in the future. It will probably be a progressive shifting of relevance, from fiat to crypto, but the crypto sector has still to ripe a real lot before being ready for such a mass adoption.
15  Economy / Economics / Re: Cryptocurrency - future? on: December 30, 2018, 11:45:31 PM
It is by now clear that cryptocurrencies will be THE money of the future. Only thing still to find out is how the big powers will eventually manage to highjack the sector.

All of the Team's latest posts on Medium, be sure to follow:

https://medium.com/sharpe

I'm reading of snaphots and payments - I didn't follow the project closely for a while now but I'm having a bag of SHP tokens - shouldn't I be receiving some dividends by being a holder?

Hi there, one must stake their tokens, yes.  However, you are also obligated to provide your sentiment via https://centuri.sharpe.co/  start predicting today Smiley

Thanks, very useful advise. I'll start straight away. It's a good time in the stock market to start providing sentiment Smiley
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: BYTEBALL: Totally new consensus algorithm + private untraceable payments on: December 30, 2018, 10:14:02 PM
I've moved some bytes within my wallet and I've noticed that after 15 minutes still the transaction did not fully confirm. I had never noticed that it takes so long. Which is the average confirmation time before the transferred coins become available?
Really, network congestions?
Personally, I have had very good experience with Byteball transactions.
I moved my Byteball so many times from windows wallet to Bittrex, it takes only seconds to appear on explorer.
I don't know what has actually happened recently with your transaction.

Yes, it takes only seconds to appear also for me. But I'm speaking of the transaction being fully confirmed. I've noticed it can take up to 15 minutes or even a bit more. Not a problem at all, perhaps I had just never paid too much attention to that and it felt less.

19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][SiaClassic] ☰ [Ensuring decentralization and transparency] ☰ (Sia Fork) on: December 23, 2018, 10:40:05 PM
I am a Halong B52 investor that got royally fucked before and after the fork.
Sure hope this Classic catches on and gains some steam to have a chance to recover investment.
So far it looks as bleak as before the fork as it seems someone is still dominating the hashrate and there are no buyers or exchange support.
Seems also the storage aspect of the project is immature and competing with a well established competitor.
The wallet status/situation is also a joke.

It seems he is rasing a few points here, especially on the storage aspect which obviously should be central.
Did you manage to get any support by any exchange? All my SC coins are sitting in an exchange....

uPlexa project seems interesting, reading the OP, but which is the intended meaning of the word "uPlexa". Sounds a bit strange as a name at first glance.
