1  Economy / Services / Re: Campaign Manager on: March 17, 2018, 05:57:00 AM
And tell me reasons why someone should hire you instead one of trusted and reputed campaign managers? What you can offer better than they do? I think that we already have enough campaign managers who are doing their job great. But also there are way to much terrible bounty campaign managers who only can offer cheap price for their job. There are so many wannabe campaign managers who have no idea what good campaign should do and this is why we have so many spammers on bitcointalk. I'm not saying that you're not capable to become campaign manager, but I want to hear answers to my questions.

I cannot offer any reasons as of now, which is why i am offering my services for free. I simply want to be able to prove myself and show that I am capable. Of course no one would trust me, but if i were to run a successful campaign, then the results would speak for themselves. All i am asking is for someone to give me a chance.

3  Economy / Exchanges / Re: How do you without id/passport verification convert crypto to fiat? on: February 28, 2018, 08:21:43 AM
There are people on the Bitcoin forum that can do trades of Bitcoin-fiat. I suggest that you open a thread in the marketplace section and title it selling Bitcoin for PP/ Fiat. However most people aren't willing to do trades with a non-trusted member. They will probably also require an escrow and will probably only do small amounts to avoid scams. Escrows might charge small fees, but i think it's better than having Bitcoin but being unable to liquidise. Good luck Cheesy
4  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: MERIT unfair? on: February 26, 2018, 07:50:25 AM
I think you misunderstand. Theymos introduced merit as a means to stop spam and shitposts that were commonplace here because people wanted to rank up to get into signature campaigns. He didn't introduce it so that"we are centralizing power to those on top" Yes, i agree, it is harder for people to rank up and some quality posts are not merited, but don't you think that the incentive for people to post quality content is worth more than having to work a little harder to rank up?
5  Other / Meta / Re: Hiring For Teacher to tech me to making quality post on: February 26, 2018, 07:42:45 AM
I don't think that making quality posts can be taught. Keep posting and contributing to the forum and eventually you'll get into the habit of making quality posts. After that, you can get merits and rank up. If you are posting solely for the purpose of getting into a sig campaign, then you should give up.

Hope you have a nice day Cheesy
6  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Millions btc stolen, tortured for btc, why can't the criminals address be found? on: February 25, 2018, 12:21:30 PM
This is one of the disadvantages that bitcoin brings. It promotes ecrime and theft because of it's own nature. Bitcoin is certainly less traceable than fiat or credit card, which is what brings criminals to target people and demand ransoms through Bitcoin. They can then transfer BTC into privacy based coins, such as Monero, where tracking is basically impossible. These coins have protocols that are there specifically for ones privacy. Monero guarantees that no one can see the recipient, sender and the amount. This is done through the use of stealth addresses and ring signatures, so that nobody knows where the money comes from and where exactly the money goes. It is sad, but once the money is stolen, it is practically untraceable.
7  Other / Serious discussion / Re: Stock Market Vs Crytocurrencies on: February 25, 2018, 10:56:15 AM
I feel like stock markets are stable, but also very slow. On the other hand, cryptocurrencies can go on a bull run, where coins go up 30, 40 times in value over a period over a couple of months. Cryptocurrencies are more volatile, where you can see 50% drops daily, but the market usually springs back very quickly. But as the saying goes, no risk, no reward, which is why i hold mostly crypto and only a few stocks.
8  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What is Bitcoin on: February 24, 2018, 06:57:45 AM
You can find about it if you do a bit of research on Google, but here I go. I won't go into the specifics of Bitcoin because that will take too long, so i'm just going to skim over it. In a nutshell, Bitcoin is digital currency that uses blockchain technology as a ways of payment online. This is also called a cryptocurrency. Bitcoin is a decentralised exchange where no single person or power controls the currency. In bitcoin, there are the devs, which work together to implement updates to improve Bitcoin, the users, which hold Bitcoin and the miners which lend out part of their CPU in order to process transactions. Compare this with banks and the government, which can generate any amount of it's national currency at any time, and you can see why having a currency that no one controls is so innovative and exceptional. Bitcoin also uses blockchain technology, which is a digitised ledger made up of individual blocks. These blocks contain data of all the transactions that are processed by the miners and are uploaded onto the blockchain. On the blockchain, everyone and anyone can see every single transaction that has been made, making Bitcoin a very transparent currency compared to fiat. 9  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think that other coins move faster? on: February 24, 2018, 01:57:28 AM
Definitely. Coins that move up quickly generally have a smaller market cap and also tries to solve real world problems, and try to form a real world solution instead of being a digitised currency. Coins that solve these sort of problems gain interest from people very quickly, and when there is more supply, coin prices tend to rise very quickly. Another variable that can make coins move faster than Bitcoin is their market cap. Take for example a coin sitting a rank 300 compared to Bitcoin at no1. Bitcoin is already peaked, as in there is not much room for Bitcoin's price to grow as it is already so high. On the other hand, the lower ranked coin can have room to grow and might also be called "undervalued" due to it's low market cap. A lower market cap with public interest will likely move much faster than Bitcoin

11  Economy / Speculation / Re: What is better Trade or Invest? on: February 22, 2018, 11:51:24 AM
Trading is more like gambling. When you sell, if the price goes up, you lose and if the price goes down you win. Personally, i tried trading and it is very risky. I would constantly sweat as i watched the prices go up, and would check charts every single minute i was free. For trading, i would recommend you at least have some knowledge in reading charts otherwise you would not go very far. Trading also requires a lot of time and patience, in the sense that you can't panic buy or sell when you see the price moving. Don't try trading if you can't bear to lose a few dollars in the short term.

On the other hand, investment is the safe bet. Just leave the funds there for a week/month/year and let the price grow. I think this is the best option as it leaves you with time to work or do other stuff. You can also pick coins that provide DIVs such as VEN, COSS or Kucoin Shares.

Either method is fine, and both have it's benefits. As i have stated above, trading provides short term benefits, but is also more risky and more time consuming. Investing is the slower and safer option, leaving you with time to do other activities. Take your pick, they are both pretty good since you are involved in cryptocurrency.
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is ETN worth a buy? on: February 21, 2018, 04:55:30 AM
The idea of bringing crypto to mobile is quite innovating. As the website says, it's goal is mainly trying to bring mass adoption, as many people are more familiar with phones than a PC. I reckon that once Q1 ends, which is when it hits major exchanges such as binance and Bittrex, coin proces COULD spike, but try not to get your hopes up too much. While it is on mobile, the concept of an electronic currency is nothing new.
13  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Mark Carney, Boe Chief Says “Bitcoin Failed as Currency” on: February 20, 2018, 12:25:14 PM
Well i got to say i half agree with him. The half with which i disagree is the idea that has bring brought up through the implementation of Bitcoin, and therefore, the rest of cryptocurrency. The idea of paying funds through the use of blockchain technology and the internet is perhaps one of the most innovative ones in the 21st century. And while Bitcoin has perhaps outlived it's lifetime, being burdened with so many problems such as high trans fees and slow processing times, it has acted as a gateway for other better, more refined cryptocurrency to be developed. So while Bitcoin may have failed as a currency, i commend it for it for giving innovation for far better products which could one day replace banks.
14  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Which is better for cryptocurrency: Coinbase or Gemini? on: February 20, 2018, 12:08:00 PM
I prefer gemini. Recently, there has been a lot of outrage going on about Coinbase's horrible lack of support and funds being stuck/ not appearing on users account. Recently, coinbase has also encountered a problem, where users were being double charged. So if you want a site that has lower fees and better user satisfaction overall, i strongly recommend gemini over coinbase.

17  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can we reduce Bitcoin’s energy use? on: February 19, 2018, 09:42:47 AM
I don't think that there is a way for that to happen. The difficulty of each Bitcoin block is just too high and the need for electricity from the power hungry GPUS are necessary for the network to run. Like, we could use renewable energy, however i'm not sure any individual can possess that much power as to own an entire enrgy rig made up of solar panels. If you truly want Bitcoin mining to be more renewable, try asking people to try forks for mining and alts because there is NO WAY that any implementation plan can affect BTC's energy use in the long term.

Do you guys still have spots, or is it all filled up?
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin vs Ethereum? on: February 16, 2018, 12:24:41 PM
Both have different application, but i reckon Ether has way more potential than BTC. There are many other coins which already outshine BTC such as LTC and XRB. Ether is a platform coin with so many more possibilities. Ether is defs better.
20  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: List all the way's to get your transaction confirmed ASAP on: December 21, 2017, 11:05:56 PM
There is no way for your transaction to be confirmed asap or immediately, however paying a higher fee can prompt miners to allocate your transaction higher on their priority list, leading to faster trans times. The more you pay for cash, the faster the transaction is going to go through.
