1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cardano on: August 13, 2018, 07:54:26 AM
I like Cardano (ADA)!  I think it has a strong team developing it, and it will have a bright future.  I think the approach they are taking to create it is very unique, and will gain them recognition.  The question I always ponder is if they will release enough of the product to the public/users before interest wanes to different projects.  At some point people get tired of waiting, and just want to move on to the next thing.  If ADA hasn't made a favorable impression by that point they just might end up being forgotten.
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Buying with ETH Pair confusion on: August 13, 2018, 06:38:36 AM
To figure out if you are "loosing" or profiting off of an investment the first thing you have to decide is..... What is your end goal?  For example in this market are you trying to gain BTC value, ETH value, some other "altcoins" value, or fiat value?  If you are just concerned about gaining fiat value and both XRP and ETH dropped by 30% in USD then it doesn't matter which one you hold onto.  Likewise if you are just concerned with gaining BTC value compare how these coins/tokens have been shrinking/growing as compared to BTC.  If they are moving by the same percentages then it doesn't matter.  In the end if you don't move your financial value out to fiat or a "stable asset" you technically never make a profit or a loss anyway.........
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Winner of this year, ETH or BTC? on: August 13, 2018, 05:51:51 AM
I don't see ETH surpassing BTC.  ETH has its own fair share of flaws and limitations.  The crypto space is evolving, and expanding so quickly that by the time BTC is passed up (if it ever will be) ETH will be just as ancient.  There will always be something newer and brighter coming down the line.  That being said people do gather around what they know, and BTC has the greatest/strongest reach for name recognition.  If mass adoption is the goal BTC will be the rabbit hole...... of course that is all based on the current environment..... who knows what tech is about to be developed.......      Wink
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best altcoin to yield a good return by December? on: August 13, 2018, 04:41:13 AM
Nobody knows when the market will turn back around, or even if it will turn back around.  The same thing goes for guessing which coins/tokens will make you a profit by the end of the year...... who knows if there even will be a profit to be made this year.  You should DYOR on projects and determine if they are quality projects, and by doing that perhaps you will find something of value.
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: SWITCHEO (SWH) - the first decentralized exchange on NEO - launches today! on: August 13, 2018, 03:32:15 AM
Is it open for American users. I am quite interested. I also am wondering do they have any trust built with the community? I dont know a whole lot about neo just recently started using it via neo tracker I believe and I am liking it!!!
Yes, it is open to all users!  I am not a big "DEX" user, but out of the choices that are currently available...... Switcheo is my favorite!  Not to mention I am a big fan of the NEO ecosystem, so being able to have a "DEX" for trading NEO coins/tokens is a huge benefit!
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin as the heart of all coins on: August 13, 2018, 02:26:24 AM
Bitcoin (BTC) is the most well known of the "crypto-currencies", so it makes sense that what happens to BTC has a direct impact on what happens to the rest of the "altcoins".  BTC is basically the gateway currency to all the other "altcoins", until there are more gateways, or more direct links from "currency" to specific "altcoins" then this will continue to be the case.
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: TRON vs EOS on: August 13, 2018, 02:15:09 AM
TRON vs. EOS is a very interesting match.  Tron has a great name, and I think their team will be able to continue marketing it.  EOS on the other hand has a very strong development team, and has been marketed successfully for over a year.  I think more people are familiar with the name EOS then they are with the name TRON.  For me what it boils down to you is which platform will be utilized more, and which platform will be developed on more....... and to that end I have to pick EOS.
8  Economy / Economics / Re: Has Crypto Changed? on: August 13, 2018, 12:22:46 AM
"Crypto" does not exist inside of a vacuum, so of course it is changing.  As well, we should want it to be constantly changing, and evolving.  Evolution and being able to evolve due to a reaction from outside stimuli leads to the best products.
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 80% BTC dominance by 2022 on: August 12, 2018, 10:57:01 PM
I think 80% is too high for dominance in the crypto market...... especially when guesstimating that far out into time.  2022 is a long ways away, and I think there are just too many unknowns to place such a heavy bet on one "chip".  From what I can see, there are quite a bit of problems that need quite a bit of solutions.  A lot more than 20% of a market can afford.
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: NEO vs ADA on: August 12, 2018, 10:30:43 PM
Yes I know that have nothing do do with each other and that you cant really compare. But if you had to choose one from the other. which would it be?

Like you said they are not very easily comparable.  I like each of them for different reasons, and I don't think I can easily choose one over the other.  So for that reason I would have to choose both of them.....lol
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: GET OUT WHEN YOU CAN!!OR STAY AND CRY! on: August 12, 2018, 06:33:26 AM
I don't think this technology is anywhere close to being done, or over with.  As well I have no plans of getting out of the crypto-space anytime soon.  Nothing has fundamentally changed in the tech that I have "invested" in, so I will continue to hold my assets.  I suggest you examine/research what you plan to invest in before you do it, and then make decisions based on its progress, and not on the markets arbitrary price tag.
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty hunters should be paid or rewarded in ETH or BTC on: August 12, 2018, 05:32:18 AM
I don't think that bounties need to be a thing that is regulated by any organization.  It should be self regulated, and the market decides how it occurs.  If you want to only be paid in BTC or ETH then only take the bounty jobs that offer payment in BTC or ETH.  If you don't want a bounty job that just offers their token as payment, then don't take the bounty job.  Likewise if it looks like an iffy project, and you might not get paid soon or at all..... don't take the bounty job.  This goes back to the old saying...... DYOR.
I am sure you can contact these projects, and make them an offer if they don't accept then move on.
One last point to think about..... legitimate projects want their coins/tokens to be distributed..... to gain value..... Why would anybody else find value in a project, if the first person they hear about the project from, doesn't even want these coins/tokens?
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to invest in Crypto currencies without fiat. on: August 12, 2018, 04:18:59 AM
This is a great starter list!  I have actually been looking for something like this.  I would assume somebody has probably already built something like this, but I am still interested in contributing (what I find) to this list!  Hopefully this list grows with quality content!
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: altcoins are dying on: August 12, 2018, 02:31:01 AM
I think there is way too much concern over price movements.  Whether it is to the upside or to the downside.  The "cryptocurrency" market is new, and fresh.  However, that shouldn't change one of the most important rules to investing: Is it a good project?  When I look at an "Altcoin" my main concern isn't.... "What is its price?"..... my concern is "What is the project?", "Is it achievable?", "Can it succeed?", "Who is on the team?", "What is the tech?", and "Has anything changed or is it just the market overall?"
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] MOBU - The Future of Security Tokens on: August 12, 2018, 02:01:13 AM
The main layout is eye-catching, and impressive.  That being said I would have liked to see a little more detail in the tokenomics section.  I am also interested in finding out what type of relationships you have developed with the SEC and other governing bodies.  I will definitely be taking a deeper look into your informational materials.
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: how much bitcoins do you earn per month? on: August 11, 2018, 06:45:13 PM
I have yet to find an opportunity/job that pays in Bitcoin.  Although I would like to.  Are there other good reputable websites (besides this forum) that list tasks that are paid in Bitcoin?
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: (EOS Airdrop) HorusPay world's first Blockchain Global Payroll Platform on: August 11, 2018, 12:09:48 AM
don't you have new airdrop?Huh

There is no new airdrop for HorusPay.
HorusPay already completed their airdrop distribution on June 30, 2018.  The airdrop distribution was set at a 1 to 1 ratio, and was based on the EOS genesis snapshot.

airdrop?

The airdrop was already distributed to those who had EOS registered addresses at the time of the EOS genesis snapshot.
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: EOS vs NEM on: August 11, 2018, 12:01:31 AM
I believe that both blockchains have pros and cons, but when it comes down to it EOS is positioned better currently.  It has more attention, and more desirability at the moment.  Which means it will attract more users, more developers, and more projects.  EOS also has the benefit of being created by Dan Larimer, who has already created several successful projects.  Each of Dan's blockchain projects currently handle more transactions/activity on a daily basis then any other blockchain project.
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: (EOS Airdrop) HorusPay world's first Blockchain Global Payroll Platform on: August 10, 2018, 12:09:14 AM
I am very interested in this project!  HorusPay definitely has the opportunity to achieve great things, and to shake-up the existing system.  HorusPay will also show the benefits of operating on the EOS blockchain!
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN]BITBLOCKS (BBK) Instant transactions. No fee. POW + POS on: April 30, 2018, 05:15:23 AM
Bitblocks has a friendly, and growing community!  My BBK transactions have always been fast, and reliable.  It is my favorite "digital asset" to stake and hold!
