1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [PPI] Pied Piper Coin: A Decentralized Internet (Airdrop Now Live!) on: May 11, 2018, 08:55:40 PM
This is classic.

The market is so unreasonable that if anything this coin will be valued as a collectible.
2  Other / Off-topic / Re: How to get girls when you're not handsome? on: August 21, 2017, 12:28:21 AM
As mentioned already, humor and a little cash are always nice. Like I have mentioned main times in life, "Money isn't the answer to everything, but it isn't any fun being poor."

Girls like a guy who is genuine, attentive, and caring. Flattery is usually not a bad idea.  If the girl your into doesn't reciprocate that, then you might want to look elsewhere.

Hell I had a date Friday & Saturday with a lady that was absolutely beautiful and I'm still amazed she has already accepted another date.
3  Other / Off-topic / Re: Paypal OR Skrill on: August 21, 2017, 12:19:23 AM
This is my first time hearing of Skrill but I will definitely investigate it more. The the other comments it seems that maybe Skrill just hasn't been as widely used as PayPal. It also sounds like they kinda work different niche markets as well, but this is new to me.
4  Other / Off-topic / Re: My story of the early purchase, the 50000 bitcoins and me vs science on: August 14, 2017, 04:18:29 AM
Whether it is your reality or not, I would like it to have been my reality.

As much as I would like to have the coins, I think the experience would of been pretty cool.
5  Other / Off-topic / Re: These Are My Favorite Comedy Movies...Yours? on: August 14, 2017, 03:56:33 AM

2. Half Baked
3. Tommy Boy (Chris Farley all time classic)
6  Other / Off-topic / Re: How to know if altcoin team is credible? on: August 14, 2017, 01:04:58 AM
I kinda go somewhat extensive.

I check their LinkdIn and Github. I will also check the forums like Bitcointalk, or Reddit for any rumors. Twitter and Facebook are also open for grabs.

I never thought of trying to create a database, to help remind you of the who's who.

Interesting idea.
7  Other / Off-topic / Re: Got offered 5-10k to marry an asian girl US Citizenship on: August 12, 2017, 04:23:33 AM
I had a friend who once married a chick he knew as a friend so she could get citizenship.

I teased him about it forever. He did it for free and never even got any nookie out of the deal.

If I remember correctly, they had to stay in contact for like 5 years. Their mail had to go to the same address. I think the last year they had to live together.

If 5-10k is worth dealing with it for 5 years, then go for it.
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Alt coins that have exploded: what similarities do they share? on: August 11, 2017, 01:48:23 PM
I always look for a dedicated strong team when looking at new coins. Another big one for me is who is on their advisory board. Any big names backing them?

On a crowdsale I also look at what the hard cap is.
9  Other / Off-topic / Re: How do I warn others about a scammer on here? on: August 10, 2017, 02:25:19 PM
I am a newbie the same as you. While I have only been a member of this forum for ~1 month, it really does feel like a good active community.

Hopefully one of the elders of the community can help. Maybe a legendary member will respond to your post.

Good luck

I would like to believe this is a forum. A forum of peers. If it is true as to what you have said, then I believe there should be an open discussion as to what happened with said user.

I think there should be a discussion, not an outright slam. It would be nice to hear both sides of the argument.
11  Other / Off-topic / Re: Mc Gregor vs Floyd Mayweather? on: August 09, 2017, 03:15:50 AM
I hate both of them, but more Floyd. He doesnt's fight, lazy and boring... waste of time and money.

Mayweather is most certainly boring, but I don't think he is lazy. He is smart.

Don't get me wrong. I probably hate Mayweather just as much if not more than the average person, but I don't deny that he is a strategical boxer.

Just because you are good at the strategy of boxing doesn't always make it a good match to watch.
12  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you believe in aliens? on: August 08, 2017, 08:07:52 PM
I absolutely believe there is extraterrestrial life. I would think that it would be ignorant to ignore the percentage of chance that there is other forms of life outside of Earth.

I think a better question would be whether people believe that aliens have already made contact with humans.
13  Other / Off-topic / Re: Holding your temper on: August 08, 2017, 06:23:41 PM
I have learned through time, what works best for me.

What works best for me is letting out the frustration in a constructive way.

I usually try and exert physical energy by exercising. Once I have used all my energy and I am physically spent, I can then look at the situation more rationally and try to put myself in the other person's shoes.
14  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do You Waste Your Life On The Internet? on: August 02, 2017, 02:31:51 PM
I usually have a very active outdoor lifestyle, Lately in the last 3-5 months I have been stuck on the computer. I started to get into crypt and AI and had to ask myself, "Was my head buried in the sand for years?"

I am currently dedicating all my free time to make sure I am caught up with the current technology break throughs.
15  Other / Off-topic / Re: Why do people become vegan? on: August 02, 2017, 02:17:47 PM
I once had a childhood friend and I remember she was terrified of cows. I always thought that was weird, but she had no problem eating them.

It's not a bad question to pose to vegans. From past experience being vegan can be caused by a whole array of reasons. A lot of times, I find that something traumatic has happened in the past to cause not eating meat.

They are just traumatized animals that don't want to eat other traumatized animals.   Grin
16  Other / Off-topic / Re: Who Owns a Fidget Spinner? on: July 30, 2017, 03:03:51 PM
I do not own one. I was amazed when this became a craze.

Has anyone seen the Fidget Cube?

I understand it is supposed to help people focus, but what's going to happen to all our desk drummers and pencil twirlers?
17  Other / Off-topic / Re: Why I want a time machine ... on: July 30, 2017, 02:37:30 AM
If I were able to go back in time.... I probably would of said yes/ok more to the random invitations life sometimes brings you. I rarely deeply regret my  yeses in life. Even if they were wrong. I learned deeply from my yeses in life. Not always as much from my nos
18  Other / Off-topic / Re: The last game you completed, and rating ??? on: July 30, 2017, 02:22:16 AM
Monopoly.

It's an all time classic but jeez it takes along time to finish a complete match.

Especially if you stay with the original rules and not deal out the properties from the beginning.  Grin
19  Other / Off-topic / Re: What security measures would you take as a dark market kingpin? on: July 29, 2017, 08:59:01 PM
I am not outing myself here. I think it's a silly business, but I've been reading about Ross Ulbricht again and of course Mr Alphabay.

Both of them operated in a very silly manner. Two people knew Ross's involvement in SR from minute one, there's leaving of his gmail address buried in the Bitcointalk server, and his operating SR in public places allowing the feds to grab his laptop before it could be encrypted.

With Mr Alphabay there was of course leaving his email address, but also flaunting Lambos and mountains of property.

So if you were to embark on such a life, how would you do it differently?

I for one would begin by only doing my nefarious business in a locked chamber. If you can wipe your laptop with one button press, you can physically isolate yourself for long enough if someone comes for you.

What else would you do?

Heck, I would probably take it even a step further.

I'm trying to remember where the story came from, but I believe it was from an old friend that was an ex-con. Lol, it was either him or Breaking Bad.

He was a meth cook for a while and I believe he said that he had rigged up a lab where if there was ever a raid they had their batch booby trapped to automatically dump into a bath of sulfuric acid. You might want to add that one to your list.

Another one he used to do was take a drive. A long one. Maybe 1.5-2 hours each way. He said he would have someone drive him 2 hours one way and then they would immediately flip around and go the other direction. The whole time, the passenger would be writing down all the license plates of the vehicles around them. Once they would get home they would compile the lists from both directions. Their theory was that there shouldn't be any plates that match going both directions. If there are.... someone's following you.

Tweakers are always paranoid. If I was a dark market kingpin, I would be as paranoid as a tweaker.

20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][EXCHANGE] WCX – Low-Cost Crypto Exchange built by Apple & Wall St team on: July 29, 2017, 03:44:46 PM
Thank you. As many other people have mentioned, this looks very promising.

I could see this being a competitor to the other large market exchanges.

By having a coin that pays interest/dividends would be an incentive for using their market.
