LOL he get banned from sign campaign, then he want all member get banned too  Cheesy
Just because you are banned from a signature campaign you want all other members to stop having signature campaigns ?
Come on, don't blame others for your mistakes.
You spammed, got banned from Yobit, deal with it, don't impose on others what they should do.

<<I edited out Amir's personal phone number from the invoices. I confirmed that the orders are in his name and are being shipped to TH's office.>>

We are moving forward and everything is going well. I hope this helps. Have a great day guys! I'm going to get some sleep.

Those are all pictures of the old revision boards hashing, have they ordered/received BKK's final design yet?

You do realize BKK finalized his design probably 48 hours ago and even he does not have any?!?!

My guess would be they would be on order shortly.

Blah blah blah, details Tongue

Btw, I am making a trip down to Santa Clara on Thursday to see how everything is going and to get the chip order pics. Amir and I spoke on the phone today and he said that any time on Thursday would be good. I'll stop by there in the afternoon. He also confirmed that all of our boards will come with I2C cables.
Hey Knightlife, If you can please just shore up a list for us from Amir, of what exactly we will get with the boards that ship. I think we know, but now we are hearing ic2 cables as well, which is great but that's new to me. And thanks again KL  Smiley

Will do. I added that to my list of questions for Thursday.

Can you also ask how the 4x k16 are connected to make a k64?  unless they respond in here before then,  I would like to know if one can easily separate a k64 into the k16s that make it up.

Single PCB with the K16 design printed 4 times on it and connected using I2C jumpers?
12  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Off-Topic on: July 16, 2013, 11:12:01 AM

The I2C connector is 4 pins. There are 4 connectors on each board. 2 on both sides of the USB connector and 2 on the edges right next to the edge with the USB connector. The 3 Pin connector is for the fan. TerraHash boards will each come with a I2C jumper cable to daisy chain the board with another one.

That is awesome.  So we are going to have a fan, heatsink, and I2C connectors packaged alongside our K16s?  How about standoffs for stacking K16s? Cheesy

FINAL BETA K16 v0.3.0 Board Design Released.

I've pushed my latest design files up to GitHub and updated the parts list.

Have Fun. New 3D render and gerber outputs also there. Use gerbv and open the kicad/ka6/ka6.gvp file.

Tomorrow I hope to have a web store open. Still a bunch of work to do there, setup Paypal and Bitcoin Pmts, and I need to take a few photos. Initially I expect to have pre-order K16 and K1 Board Only sales. Pre-order as in I'll order the boards and when they come in I'll ship them out - not months of angst waiting.

I'll also have Solder Paste Stencils for K16 and K1, and a small plain Heat Sink for the K1 as well. The boards include a license fee component, and pricing for QTY 1-9, 10-25, 26-50, 51-99, 100+. I plan to add some pre-programmed PIC parts later but that also depends on supply, and there's not much point in that until I have a boot loader written.

Note - my firmware files now default for use with inverters on result data and clk. If you still use non-inverted you will need to edit two lines before building in addition to setting chip count and bank values. I'll get some of this cleaned up with proper defines before long.

Next up: QFN variant and then K1 revision.

With this news, are you guys going to be reordering PCBs and what kind of timeframe does that put Terrahash at in terms of readiness for assembly?
14  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Off-Topic on: July 08, 2013, 06:55:53 PM
- Who is making the boards?!?!?!?! Terrahash had all indication of working with BKK in messages prior to the pre-order, however now we hear from BKK that Terrahash has not contacted them at all on the development. This is somewhat of an important topic, and one which I am not willing to give blind faith to, which was why I requested a refund.

There's really not much to 'work with' BkkCoins on.  He's providing an open source design for a board.  At any point between now and forever, any person or entity can take the design to a manufacturer and have it built.  TerraHash is not bringing anything to the table.    There's no need for TerraHash to contact or work with BkkCoins.

TerraHash has proven the capability to get a prototype board rapidly manufactured.   At this point, they can't do much other than source some heatsinks and tweak their case designs, until the Klondike design is finalized.

TerraHash has always stated they're simply utilizing the Klondike design and having the boards built with either 1) user chips or 2) chips from their own Avalon orders (of which they have three or four now).

Now that BkkCoins has the Klondike hashing at 300 MH/s per chip, TerraHash will probably utilize the latest design to have a board created by a manufacturer, record it hashing, and post it to their blog and here.

where is the promised hashing video?

The design was hashing good this weekend, today's Monday. Expect the video by Friday.

Shit takes time in real life.

Come on dude, are you serious?  How exactly do you think all these candid moment videos pop up on the net showing people doing spur of the moment stupid shit...its as simple as picking up your cellphone, hitting the record button and then posting it somewhere....hell, most phones have youtube built in to allow immediate upload and sharing.  Shit takes time to build yes but, in today's society communication is incredibly easy in a multitude of ways.
15  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Off-Topic on: July 06, 2013, 05:14:02 AM
Here's to hoping they are able to come through with this mini-deadline of video/pics tomorrow...

I would like to think that the recent burst of communication from TH is because they are seeing an increase in refund requests and they are trying to do a bit of disaster control.  First rule of any business should be not to ignore your customers.  Doesn't matter how awesome your product/production line is, if you don't communicate with your customers, your gonna crash and burn.

Oh, and my low post count is because I prefer to lurk in the shadows, listen, and learn...not spout off about BS...especially when i'm not anywhere near the most educated/experienced in something.

Oh...and if you see this Terrahash, I would suggest getting those pics/videos out as early as possible to keep the short fuses from blowing.

I really hope the next project is on Eagle. I really don't like Kicad much.

Maybe we could take up a collection to buy an Eagle license for Bkkcoins Smiley

A little more then $1,600 bucks for the full featured license...im sure the community can scrape together 16BTC.
17  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Klondike - 16 chip ASIC Open Source Board - Preliminary on: June 25, 2013, 09:12:23 PM
Regarding the request to replace components with more capable ones to allow for OC'ing...how hard would it be for the end user to replace themselves...assuming the end user is able to acquire the parts and takes responsibility for the outcome of modding the board of course.
18  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Klondike - 16 chip ASIC Open Source Board - Preliminary on: June 23, 2013, 03:32:24 PM
I am an engineer with a background in aerodynamics/fluids and am capable of performing Heat/CFD simulations. Is there any way I can contribute to the heat sink/dissipation design. I can't promise anything but I can try if I had more understanding of what the goals/design are.

Goal:  Keep shit cool, lol.  Im sure you could grab the component measurements off the net or make a rough estimate based on the PCB pictures shown in the thread and make a rough, scalable design.
19  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Klondike - 16 chip ASIC Open Source Board - Preliminary on: June 22, 2013, 05:05:11 PM
BKK, if your able to deliver everything that it takes to get these boards up and running that doesn't cause TH's timeframe to slip, my first BTC mined with them is yours, even if TH's timeframe slips because of something on their end.
20  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: TerraHash Order Queue and info on: June 19, 2013, 07:06:14 PM
Just a quick update, I have paid in full for my order ,#447. My associate made a mistake when posting. The correct items that we ordered were:
1x Full DX Large
1x DX Large (4 Modules)
1x Full DX Mini
1x DX Mini (2 Modules)

F you TookTheRedPill....sucking up all the 1st batch chips Cheesy
