For example they could offer the option you describe and/or hosting (easier for them?) for people out of the US..
Yes, but based on their lack of response on the topic, they don't want to get into that, so I don't think that is an option, especially given the short amount of time before this is no longer available. Regardless, if it doesn't sell, 9 boards get put back into circulation and anyone after 548 gets a bump. They really need a skilled secretary with good PR skills (who doesn't )!

They really need a skilled secretary with good PR skills (who doesn't )! Honestly, it's best they don't concern themselves with this, and simply focus on getting a working product, which from the sounds of it, they have been doing quite well at. It looks like the silence was just them getting their operation ready to move forward once the chips and boards were ready. Sure that's what was stated in the beginning, but some people like to not have silence after spending 10k. Regardless, I like to think I judge things fairly, and I believe all my past comments were still warranted. But the past is just the past. Hopefully those that kept the faith will be rewarded handsomely.

I ordered those, although the board looks to be a 3-pin connector, these should work. Only 1 i2c connector on each board so i guess we need to splice/solder our own chain together, havent found any to order.

Thought there is going to be the header for these i2c cables to plug into for daisy chaining?

Yeah there is one 3 pin header for them i believe.
So to connect two adjacent K-16's you need a 3 pin female to female header block between the boards that they both plug into? I guess once we see the physical boards it will all become clear.

Will the boards lock, solder together or just jumpers? Any cables have to be special to reduce noise? Each board have to have power or does being connected take care of it? What is the best type of computer to use? How to mount and cool them. Etc etc etc. These headaches are why I'm having the boards hosted. If I don't like hosting I will buy and have them put in a pre-designed case.

The I2C connector is 4 pins. There are 4 connectors on each board. 2 on both sides of the USB connector and 2 on the edges right next to the edge with the USB connector. The 3 Pin connector is for the fan. TerraHash boards will each come with a I2C jumper cable to daisy chain the board with another one. That's great. I'm glad the boards are coming with I2C cables. No need for us to buy them now. Thanks TH.

Btw, I am making a trip down to Santa Clara on Thursday to see how everything is going and to get the chip order pics. Amir and I spoke on the phone today and he said that any time on Thursday would be good. I'll stop by there in the afternoon. He also confirmed that all of our boards will come with I2C cables.

So we are going to have a fan, heatsink, and I2C connectors packaged alongside our K16s? How about standoffs for stacking K16s?

3 questions for Amir / Terrahash:
1) A normal PSU does not have 10 or 20 connectors with 6 pin so ... Does DX Mini case come with adapters for 20 modules even if I ordered only 10 ? If yes, I assume this adapters are available even if I ordered the case without PSU.
2) Similar question about cooling system and fans ... I assume DX Mini case will have full cooling for 20 modules regardless of number of modules ordered in the case ...
3) How many USB cables I need to use to connect a DX Mini with 10 boards to a computer ? Do I need 1 (from DX Mini to computer) or 10 (for each module) ? I hope only one ...
My concern is about a possible upgrade (buy more modules) and I wand to understand if I need anything else other than plug in the module itself. Do I need any extra cable or adapter or anything else ...
Terrahash, based on your message I assume the answer to my 3rd question is 1 USB cable to PC ... I2C jumper cable (provided by Terrahash) is used as connection between K16 boards. Please, can you please comment on my first 2 questions ?

Hey Knightlife, If you can please just shore up a list for us from Amir, of what exactly we will get with the boards that ship. I think we know, but now we are hearing ic2 cables as well, which is great but that's new to me. And thanks again KL

My Order 548 for:
TerraHash DX Large × 1 Number of Modules: 9 (162 GHash/sec)
Paypal's final day is today for a response from Terrahash. With the recent good news, if someone wanted to buy this from me, I would sell it, but it would have to be in the next 12 hours that BTC is in my account.
130 BTC - But this means it would probably have to ship to me, and then I would immediately, without unpacking it ship it to you within the US (or additional charges apply).
Unlikely, but I figured I'd offer one last time before the refund is processed. I'd give complete access to my account as well.
To those asking on PM, I'm located in NY. Would consider a small BTC downpayment to cancel the dispute, as I think the CC would still cover any issues. It would have to be today though with the dispute nearly out of time. PM for any info, I won't clutter the thread up with any more of this. This also assumes that Terrahash does not object to this.

Can you also ask how the 4x k16 are connected to make a k64? unless they respond in here before then, I would like to know if one can easily separate a k64 into the k16s that make it up.

Single PCB with the K16 design printed 4 times on it and connected using I2C jumpers?
