1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: WAVES. Ultimate crypto-tokens blockchain platform. on: August 28, 2017, 12:15:25 AM
Does anyone know why the fees being generated from the network have gone down so drastically in the last week or so? The number of transactions are quite high.
It used be at least around 600 with lower number of transactions but now it is around 60-80 waves?

The wallet was working fine till last night but since this morning it has been acting strange. i can see it on my taskbar, so it is running but it is simply not showing as a window. I restarted the wallet and it started but again I can see it on my taskbar and that's about it. It remains invisible. I downloaded the wallet on the 19th (the latest version from the PIVX site) and it was staking alright. Any help guys?

No guarantees, but that sounds like it could be a Windows issue. Sometimes Windows 'loses' windows offscreen, so they're technically open, just not anywhere visible. Try alt + spacebar with no other windows besides PIVX open or on the taskbar. If this is the problem, then that should open a menu allowing you to minimize/maximize/move the PIVX window. Either hit 'maximize' or move the window back onto the screen.

Again, no guarantees but worth a shot. Previous PIVX wallets have had occasional issues with recovering from a crash or other forced shutdown, but I've never heard of (nor personally experienced) the issue you describe.

EleanorZ-- you are right on the money with your instruction. Thank you very much. The issue has been resolved. I really appreciate your timely and wise input.

4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Transactions per day on: July 30, 2017, 09:33:10 PM
Just out of curiosity: the Waves platform has between 16000-35000 transactions on an average everyday. How many transactions does the Ethereum network have now in a day? Does anyone know? I am just looking at the potential number of transactions Waves might have about a year down the line. Thanks guys.

Also 'Gupta' is worst name. Take a look what Guptas did to South Africans. http://www.newstatesman.com/culture/observations/2017/07/gupta-scandal-how-british-pr-firm-came-unstuck-south-africa

Gupta scammed entire nation of South Africa. Do not trust Gupta.

This. Guptas are shiites.
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Leasing Question on: July 25, 2017, 01:00:02 AM
Hey Guys!

I have a quick question about staking. So, in terms of profits through leasing, is it okay if I keep adding my leasing stake on a node as I acquire more Waves or should I try to end my lease at every juncture and and then renew it in a wholesome amount? In other words: let's say I have 600 tokens and I lease it to WavesGo. I acquire 100 and 90 more tokens during subsequent weeks and lease them with WavesGo as separate leases. So I still have 790 tokens lease with the node but there are 3 leases instead of one. Will this hurt my profitability? Or should I just break all my leases and then do one lump-sum amount leasing everytime I buy more tokens?

Any help in this regard will be appreciated.
You could lease every time you buy some waves mate, there is no need to lease all at once. you will get the same amount regardless.

Thanks, mate.
