The wallet was working fine till last night but since this morning it has been acting strange. i can see it on my taskbar, so it is running but it is simply not showing as a window. I restarted the wallet and it started but again I can see it on my taskbar and that's about it. It remains invisible. I downloaded the wallet on the 19th (the latest version from the PIVX site) and it was staking alright. Any help guys?
No guarantees, but that sounds like it could be a Windows issue. Sometimes Windows 'loses' windows offscreen, so they're technically open, just not anywhere visible. Try alt + spacebar with no other windows besides PIVX open or on the taskbar. If this is the problem, then that should open a menu allowing you to minimize/maximize/move the PIVX window. Either hit 'maximize' or move the window back onto the screen. Again, no guarantees but worth a shot. Previous PIVX wallets have had occasional issues with recovering from a crash or other forced shutdown, but I've never heard of (nor personally experienced) the issue you describe.

EleanorZ-- you are right on the money with your instruction. Thank you very much. The issue has been resolved. I really appreciate your timely and wise input.

The developers seem inclined to not just implement the zerocoin protocol, but to also be 200% sure beforehand that it is bugproof. Only the developers know when zerocoin will go live. However, when it does, be sure to fasten your seatbelts, 'cause we will be going to da moon Ready for that..

Look at the Monero charts lately. Privacy coins are getting their attention back.

A couple of days ago I noticed this as well, I didn't look at the source but it is possible that the seesaw algorithm has been changed in v2.3.0 and that the payment stats are still based on the older algorithm. The number of MN decreased considerably from ~2200 to ~1550, that might explain the lower reward for staking, I guess a number of people switched from MN to staking because that was more profitable the last 5 weeks.

Yes, that's how releases should be treated. Testnet is for testing, mainnet for launches. And when it launches, it really launches.

Maybe a bit of that, but most of the drop occurred in the last couple of days. I'm guessing it's more to do with MNs going offline because they're still coming back after being upgraded to 2.3.0 (or because they still haven't been upgraded).

Guess what: NEW "did you know" video released. https://youtu.be/IW3VF6R3DyAThis one covers the statistical unlikelihood of someone being able to take control of the PIVX network (take over the majority consensus).

Personally I expect that PIVX with zerocoin will be released next month. Of course I'm not clear-sighted and only the devs can tell for sure.

A coincidence? The Supreme Court in India just voted 9-0 that privacy as a fundamental intrinsic right. That's 1.3 Billion residents. Privacy is being given its limelight. https://twitter.com/_pivx/status/901110932201451520This is why PIVX matters, and why the community continues to move in favor of zPIV (zerocoin implementation).

why do I feel like PIVX is massively undervalued?
Like 2$ for this coin?
It is serious deal...

It is, with Zerocoin implementation already on testnet it easily can compete with Dash, Zcash and Monero. When Zerocoin is on mainnet in one of the next releases, we will never see that $2 again. It's a great coin to hold by the way, either running a masternode or just staking, rewards are very good.
