1  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Where do companies get their "Bitcoin experts" from? on: June 25, 2019, 05:05:33 AM

Or do these companies just treat anyone with a computer science degree to be an expert? (Heck, I'm a computer science student. Can I be a Bitcoin expert too?)

a degree is necesary to become an bitcoin expert but you also need to know about the ins and outs of bitcoin like what is bitcoin and how does it works . i know a few bitcoin experts but those people are famous  .  i guess being popular also plays a vital role of becoming an expert because people will easily recognize and believe on what you are saying  .
2  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The "Church"(call it whatever you want) of Bitcoin on: June 23, 2019, 09:22:41 AM
OMG sounds  very strange.. is it true??? Is there any church for bitcoin?Huh? Well very strange..

anyone can create thier own church so yes its possible . there might be trippers that will do this and the followers were also compose of bitcoin ethusiasts on  which they meet and talk inside thier so called " bitcoin church " they talk about stuffs related to  bitcoin  .

bitcoin is infact can be consider as a religion because many people are praising it  . they think that bitcoin is too glorious  . most of them have already develop a solid faith and trust in bitcoin because they invest on it .
3  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why trading is unhealthy? on: June 18, 2019, 06:23:17 AM
It only becomes unhealthy if you don't know who to control your emotions here.
sometimes its okay to emote because we are humans and we arent perfect . we sometimes do unwanted mistakes that makes us emotional , so in order to released those emotions ( the anger , the stress , the tears , the depression ,etc . ) you need to emote  .

Quote
I mean just look at the most successful traders in the world and they will say to you that don't trade based on emotions but rather what the market is giving them.

they good at giving advices but im sure that they also experience some struggles pertaining to emotions but what they say its true . emotions are not the one that will be used when doing trades but its the analysis and the markets situations  .
4  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin bull run due to Binance no longer serving US customers? on: June 16, 2019, 11:01:48 AM

i find this news a bad news because it will bring a negative effect in the market but its strange that btc price is still increasing ? it should fall down because those u.s costumers will sell thier btc since they cant trade on binance anymore  however there are still alot of exchanges out there ( as you mention ) so that should patch the problem .
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: XRP at $5-10 in 9 to 10 Days: Hype? on: June 11, 2019, 10:19:07 AM
You can always buy later if some relevat news hit the market bro, not because someone says will moon hard based on random lines drawn on a chart
No one can exactly tell if where will cryptos are heading. All of us are only speculating and predicting , its only up to you if you will believe what others are saying  but its not also bad to buy as early as possible because cryptos are said to fly the longer they exist  .

Re: XRP at $5-10 in 9 to 10 Days: Hype?

I think its only a hype but whats the matter with that ?  All coins are also being hype not just xrp . people must be happy with it instead of complaining
6  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Very frustrating on: June 07, 2019, 01:57:50 AM
Snippted .....
Definitely yes! Some of the investors are easily exhausted. They do not have enough patience to stay in cryptocurrency. They leave when bitcoin as well as the market goes down. They say that BTC is expensive but when they pulled by FOMO, they buy bitcoin even it goes up 100 percent.
Thats pure b.s  , why would you buy crypto coins when the value is expensive ?  But fomo is not bad as long as you do fomo when thr value of the cryptos are decreasing  . Crypto business such as trading or investing is not for emotional people because the price is confusing and this makes you frustrated if you dont control your emotions  .
7  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Say it again? Bitcoin transaction fees expensive? on: June 02, 2019, 12:35:08 AM
If Bitcoin transactions are faster now it is awesome
the speed of your transaction will always depend on the tramsaction fee that you put up  but it also depend on network traffic  .

When it comes to transaction fees, they may be seem cheap on a 500k transaction but they seem expensive on a small amount of transaction.
Yeah . Its wise to transact a large volum of coins if the fees are really high but if your only going to send smaller amounts then you could loose more in the fees but the fees will also depend on the current value of the cryptos  . Its known that the fees will be cheap if the value of cryptos are not pumping .
8  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The crypto exchange industry is saturated - Agree or disagree? on: May 29, 2019, 03:57:17 AM
I agree with you. I trust multiple stock exchanges and are trading only on them. I do not understand why we need such a large number of exchanges, because it is really inconvenient.
Inconvenient ? Why ?  Have you try using them ?  Imo its not a bad idea to have different exchanges so that we traders can choose if what suites them  .  some traders dont stick on a single exchange but they love to buy and sell on different exchanges so that they can earn some profit because every other exchange have different price list  .
9  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I quit my job to do full-time crypto-trading on: May 29, 2019, 01:33:37 AM
So for this day trading, there's has to be a lot of losers who lose big, for everyone who wins big. Isn't there always the possibility of losing more than you would had made working?
Yes there is . you once said that you can earn big on trading and that winning is much more bigger than in what will you have earnt on working on your regular job outside the crypro scene but there are also a possibility that you can loose what you already earn and whats worst is that you can loose more evenly  .
10  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: A shocking truth! on: May 26, 2019, 04:51:27 AM
The delay makes us regret, when some people say sell your bitcoin in the past 2017, but I didn't listen, I instead bought another coin and finally the coin fell. Sometimes we think, our minds are better than someone, but apparently not.

Listening to someone else is not always a good idea especially if you dont know the person and besides its always a good idea to prefer hodling rather than selling as long as the cryptos that you hodl is a good crypto because they always have the potential to pump more in the future  .

Your mind or your own instics is actually better than someone else because that is your life and that is your money . No one can controll you  .
11  Economy / Economics / Re: Your Source of Investment Money? on: May 21, 2019, 08:00:15 AM
I am just like you op because i do also love to work online to be able to earn some cash or cryptos and then ill use some of the cash/cryptos that i got from crypto trading .  I also do long term hodling  . So far i dont use my own money for online investments because i cant afford to loose it and there is more important things  that i can use with it aside from cryptocurrencies  .
12  Economy / Economics / Re: What can be done to make bitcoin stable? on: May 21, 2019, 01:28:26 AM
I am relatively new with regard to bitcoin but what I have noticed is that a lot of people just invest on it and then cash in when they feel like it is already enough to make a profit. I do not think that this will not be great in the long run because of it being unstable. So what can be done to make it stable?
We cannot control the emotion of the people selling their coins, causing a sudden dip or volatility of the market, what we can control is stopping the many developers that scamming investors and hackers hacking people's wallet and exchange, if we can control this two, we have a good chance to make the price of Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies to stabilize.

I dont think that the scamming and hacking have a connection on the price  . I dont also think that if those crimes stop the value can become stable because cryptos are already have a fix volatile nature . Lastly , there is no way to stop those cyber crimes because they are both online   . In the online world anyone can hide thier identity and they can use fake identities to take advantage of others   .
13  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is for scammers, yea right! on: May 09, 2019, 02:18:38 AM
Scam or fraud does not only happen using bitcoin but also using fiat money.

yes and i think criminals prefer to use fiat more oftenly because it is easy and it does not require any technical knowledge while bitcoin is mainly being used by hackers or to those criminals thats are knowledgeable enough because they are the ones that concious for thier privacy and security  .

Why are those people pushing that bitcoin is for scammers. It's digital money, yes, but it doesn't mean it's scam. Scammers are all around the world so regardless of what currency a person use whether it's bitcoin or fiat money, scam is unavoidable.

its because bitcoin looks so unbelievable  , i mean bitcoin is only digital and many people think that it was fake  . these people are only lacking of knowledge on what really the bitcoin was   .
14  Economy / Economics / Re: KYC for penny money? on: May 07, 2019, 12:39:44 AM
KYC has nothing to do with the amount of reward received for joining a bounty program.

of course it does matter because afaik kyc is commonly done on bigger transaction like for example if you are withdrawing a huge amount of cash and if you are an investor of an ico but kyc on an airdrop and on a bounty is not usual anymore .

KYC is for verification purposes and other legal matters that the project may need to deal with. This is why bounty hunters must do thorough research into the program before joining the bounty in order to know the potentials and capabilities of the project hitting the jackpot.

but i still dont get the connection of a kyc with a bounty or maybe you are trying to say that kyc related bounties are more legit than a bounty that does not require a kyc ?
15  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is the biggest venture capital fund that human kind ever made on: May 02, 2019, 05:23:59 AM
like what other said  . some points that you list on the op are not really a disadvantage but they are instead advantage because this what makes bitcoin unique and indemand  . i think i will only agree on the number 4  which was  " lack of supervision "   .  yes bitcoin is lacking with this due to its decentralized/anonymous feature  .  this makes bitcoin ideal for dark and shady use  but not all are doing this  .
16  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How will you teach bitcoin if someone does want to know coming from you? on: May 02, 2019, 04:46:48 AM
You will confuse to tell what bitcoin or cryptocurrency are if youself didn't have knowledge about it.

thats true but all here in this thread are already crypto enthusiast we all have a knowledge pertaining to cryptos  . we dont need to be a pro to be able to teach someone because basic understanding on crypto is already enough them  .

there will many question posed to you and you can't answer it and other people will doubt to know more about it.

just tell them the truth  .if you cant answer the question that they will throw , just let them use google  but i guess they wont ask more question rather they will only ask on how to start with bitcoin or in cryptos  . the simple answer could be recomend them a trusted wallet  . show them where to find the recieving and sending address . that should be the basic  .
17  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do if the Bitcoin Sending Fee will be super high or super low? on: May 02, 2019, 04:14:10 AM
If ever bitcoin sending fee will be super high i think i will still use my bitcoin for transaction but it depends on how high the fee was  . some sites , wallets  , exchanges do have different transaction fees and some enables you to choose between slow , mid and high priority   .  i will only choose mid or low if high priority is too expensive  .

But if all the options above are not possible i guess ill have to use another cheaper coin if available  .
18  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin mining would bring back excessive profit? on: May 02, 2019, 03:30:34 AM
Bitcoin mining is very lucrative when you decide to going in for a long term investment plan. The profit nature of bitcoin mining strongly depends on how long you decide to mine without pausing or quitting. If you invest $10k into building a mining rig which generates about $50 worth of bitcoin within  a day and you decide to mine for a year without touching your Bitcoin earned via mining, the profit will be massive even if the price of Bitcoin is down.  Bitcoin mining is not short term something to judge how lucrative it is.

Bitcoin mining is indeed for long terms because its slow to generate income via bitcoin mining but the only advantage is that your income is consistent no matter how low that value of bitcoin are  but there are still two things to be considered . one is the electric cost and second is the capital for your mining hardware   . if you can afford the electric cost or if the electric cost is too afordable and if you can also afford a mining hardware or a mining rig then that is the time that you can say that bitcoin mining can bring exessive income .
19  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: ‘Bitcoin Is Not Money’ Because We Cannot Print It – Banks on: May 02, 2019, 03:04:06 AM
you can physically print bitcoins if you wanted onto paper, it would just be the QR code on a piece of paper with the amount of the bitcoin the QR code holds and represents. By why waste the plastic (like the cdn dollar) or paper... we live in the digital age digital gangsters keep it digital. I mean it would help in the future if the main power grid went out or something.

You can print it by yourself but banks cannot because it isnt approved by governments  that bitcoin should be printed and to be used just like a normal paper money  but you still got a point when you say that we are now in digital world . everything now works in digital and the best part is that we can save our trees and we can save the environment when we arent printing a paper money  .

In case of blackout  . there are still generator that can power our gadget using a fuel
20  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto thefts, fraud hit $1.2 billion in Q1 report on: May 02, 2019, 02:32:45 AM
1.2 billion is nothing compared to other industries.
According to TransUnion, back in 2016 the E-commerce market lost 7 billion dollars because of fraud in the US, a figure that it's expected to reach over 30 billion dollars by next year.

Wow thats a huge amount of sums being stole by criminals but thats normal for other industries because they also have a huge market cap while here on cryptocurrencies ,  our market cap is only small and if billions are being stole , that is already bothering  .

But the mainstream media won't say anything about this, the guys pulling the strings behind the scenes in these news sites only want the general public to have a negative perception on cryptos...Bastards.

News or news sites or even any other people can give their own opinion . they create an article whether legit or hoax but thats normal.  There are good news and there are bad news on crypto  but we a real crypti user will understand that crypto is not a currency that being used by fraudsters  . crypto is not a dangerous currency  .
