I guess they just answered a bunch of questions about dumping tokens. 

They already have an alpha, moved up the Beta and the release, hired a marketing firm and signed an agreement with a rewards company (agreement released by Friday).  What project is this far along with this much potential? 

Everything depends on the ability of the populous crew to get companies selling invoices to use their platform.  In my opinion creating the platform to function like it should is the easy part.  No worries in that end from me, can Populous deliver the invoices for us to buy? Building the platform is easy, I just hope they don't take a if we build it they come approach.

With beta and final release being pushed up it is only a matter of time before there is a rush to acquire this asset.  Once the importance of the utility provided by the token is evident compared to just trading the token is when you see price jump.  Are there any other tokens or coins out there that are actually performing a function?  I mean that is actually in use? 

We are starting to get into new territory with tokens performing a function within industry!  This is exciting to see it is a transformation from the old system into the new.  This might also be why ppt is not on a large exchange yet.  If the big banks are behind the scenes on the exchanges why would they want to introduce a coin that has the possibility to disrupt their cash flow.

That is exactly how lots of start-up projects begin, as an investor if you don't like the project don't invest and move on.  Why come back and nitpick everything?  It's not your job to save us from ourselves.

He is creating an exchange platform that uses Veri.  The Jamaican stock exchange is supposed to be adopting it in the near future.  It's a p2p exchange cutting out the banks.  You use veri to make the transactions happen on the exchange.  It has also been rumored that you will be able to rent your veri. Not sure it will work.  Someone else can probably explain it better, it's pretty black boxed right now.

Umm it says example, the numbers I gave are made up to show an example.  I never said this is how much the total value of their invoices are going to be.  I was simply showing how the the relationship would work.  The point is the value of ppt is going to have to match value of the invoices.  Everything depends on how much of the market populous can capture.

Let's say I was actually using that as a real projected number.  According, to populous invoice financing is a 74 trillion dollar a year business, if true 1% of the the market is 740 billion.  I used 500 billion you don't think it's possible for them to capture .66% of the market? (Less than 1%).   This is a utility token much different than a crypto currency.  It provides a use case for a trillion dollar a year financial industry, comparing it to bitcoin is pointless.


But never know, they might not take any of the market share.

Am I wrong in thinking that the price of ppt on the exchanges does not matter?  The real value of a ppt token is going to be the total dollar value of the invoices on the platform divided by the number of ppt tokens.  The value of the tokens have to equal the dollar value of the invoices to service all the customers. 

Example: $500 billion in invoices / 52 million ppt = $9,600/ppt token

The value of ppt is actually going to be driven invoice investors not ppt traders.

What were the clif high price predictions for veri?

What is stopping this from being on Bittrex?  Lots of crappy coins are on Bittrex, I would think adding ppt would be a no brained for them

It will be interesting to see what happens to the price of ppt when you cannot buy it in an exchange anymore.  At some point once the system is live all the ppt will be moved to the populous platform to buy invoices.  This is when I believe we will start to see the price movements.  I foresee a huge premium to buy these tokens if Populous can deliver on the invoices to buy.  Why sell when you are earning a passive income?  You would have to pay a huge premium to pry ppt from my wallet.  Of course this all depends on populous delivering on their end.

Those on the alpha what is your impression of the program?

If it only took 7 days to write the wallet that means wallet construction began after Aug 9th, the wallet release date.  Why pump up a wallet release date of Aug 9th if you did not even start building the wallet?

Am surprised price is going down?

Not every coin is far from realizing their use case, Populous is launching their alpha today.  If the Safex wallet was this hard to create imagine them trying to deliver on the Chille blockchain.
