1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [OFFICIAL] [ENGLISH] XP | Experience Points SHA256 | Gaming Rewards & Currency on: December 05, 2019, 02:14:30 AM
Today is the LAST day to swap any OLD chain XP to new Chain.

Visit https://experiencepoints.io/theswap/ for updates.

NO SWAPS WILL BE ACCEPTED AFTER Nov 29 6:00 UTC

Reading the post I understand that there will be no burn.
The question is: what will happen with the unswapped coins after it will be finished if no burn will be made.

The old chain will be left behind, abandoned and left to die without a development team or direction. OLD XP chain was removed from all exchanges prior to swap, therefore not traded anywhere currently to give the chain value.
If a group of users would like to support the old chain they could. There are many issues with the code base. Best of luck if that is anyone's intents.

4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Mining with Nvidia Compute 1.1, year 2017 on: December 30, 2017, 04:28:20 AM
Is this thread still alive ?

Im also interested in cryptonight miner for my old GTX 260  ( it's compute 1.3 i think...)

Can't find anything working ...

Will someone be so nice an compile a ccminer for those old nvidia cards ?

I have no clue how to do this Sad

You must use mining software from when they supported the older compute versions see my old post in this thread. I got cudaminer 2014-02-28 to run on the same card you mentioned. Look on github under release for older releases and see what compute level they support. Good luck hobby mining.

I have similar issues. I can get cudaminer to run but no submitted shares. ~5-15 Kh/s on my gtx260m. using cudaminer 2014-02-28

Code:
cudaminer.exe --algo=scrypt:1028 -o stratum+tcp://coinminers.net:3288 -u Cf744PafTaz7uPykbqHY8dqE1GQpP32PiG -p password -i 1 -l L28x1 -C 1 -H 2

(coin above is ChanCoin some LTC copy coin)

Have an LTC .bat that will run and submit on the machine but yield no results(Global h/s is to high for my small h/s for payouts).

Code:
cudaminer.exe --algo=scrypt -o stratum+tcp://ltc.pool.minergate.com:3336 -u EMAIL@Email.com -p x -C 1 -H 2

The SMX of my card is 14.
Have switched up the --algo=scrypt sometimes.. works as well still no submits.
Have tried a few other -l options. -l L14x2 -l L14x1 -l L14x3 -l L28x3
Some do not validate on cpu with the kernel options.
I have lots of other hardware with similar specs and am currently not paying for electricity and would like to get them up and running. Does anyone know of cuda GPU miner that is compute 1.x compatible?

Second question...
How can I add an algo to an existing miner?
Ex. I have cudaminer and would like to include the Cryptonight/cryptolight Algo.
cudaminer is dated can I do this?
I want to add cryptonight to a compute 1.x miner?

Does anyone know if XP Dev is active? Is it true that it's possible to buy products with XP? If this is true, the current prices still don't justify what XP may be worth, I bought some in 2 sat, I'll be watching over the next few months because things will be better here.

the xp twitter is pretty active : https://twitter.com/TheBigXP     i think with the new wallet, and lower stake rates, price will likely go up. i dont think there are currently any products to purchase with xp, i thought the main intention was to use it in gaming platforms in the near future.

You can buy things with XP check out https://xp.market/ Get your steam codes, Amazon cards, PSN cards, ETC
The developers are active join the discord for latest updates https://discord.gg/NYMAUec

Hi Dev Team or member,

I just finished downloading blockchain for 3 days and transferred all my XP coins  1hr ago in my wallet. Everything is there and I am trying to configure the staking part and followed below steps

Settings > Wallet Security > Unlock for mining

but then it's grayed out and can't click it. Any reason why it's like that?  Thnk you in advance.

Regards,
Jason

Your wallet would have to be encrypted to unlock it for mining. Is you wallet Encrypted? If not your wallet is unlocked and will be mining. Try encrypting then click setting > wallet security > unlock for mining.  And remember always encrypt your wallets and keep your passwords safe and back up your wallet often(At least every time you create a new address). If you have a valid(Mature) input in the mining tab the Pickaxe at the bottom right of the wallet will light up.
Good luck Jason happy staking.

It looks like this ICO has been successful on one side, but unsuccessfulk on the other one - now the whole community is pissed off they were not allowed to buy and someone bought before ICo start.

I agree they need to do something for the community. This was only good for a few large buyers(whales) and the Company(Decentraland). It is defeating the the idea they said they had a VR community for the Community. A few large buyer own all the MANA and can buy all the "scarce" land when it becomes available.

A few big players own it all... Sad day for decentralization. Been flowing the project for months and cant buy in cuz they changed the date on short notice then sold out cuz i was 10 mins late on launch. Of a 8 day sale.  Sad Angry Sad

If i filled out whitelist can I still buy?  Huh Huh Im so pissed a moved a bunch of funds to buy in. It was all sold 10 mins in when I checked the Token Sale page.

Is it really done!? What is up... was about to send funds but saw it was fully funded? according to the website https://contribution.decentraland.org/#/ That was way to fast...  Can I still buy MANA?? help?

Im new to XP. I got the wallet and have been staking my coins but it is showing me a strange output for my expected minting. It is showing a negative number for what will be minted. Is this a GUI error or something else? Link below is Image from wallet. Can provide more info if needed.

Otherwise the wallet seems to work fine. From what I have read it seems POW is dead for this coin, CORRECT? Will mining from the QT wallet give coin?
How many coins are you staking and minting? I see an average of 6 connections to the wallet at a time over the past 5 or six days. When will the POS calculations change? Thanks in advance.
