and segwit wallet only start with 3 right ? then only I can find out that destination also using segwit
Segwit addresses may start with a 3 or bc1. But not every address starting with a 3 is a Segwit one. I see thanks mate ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)

hi thanks for the input , I already upgraded my electrum wallet , and also made a new segwit wallet there but couldnt find deference between fees there ![Sad](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/sad.gif) Do you use electrum 3.0.5 ?? It's important as a vulnerability has been found in electrum 2.6 to 3.0.4. I guess you do. You can set a custom fees to transact using segwit address, even though it's not so significant as current mempool seems flooded with too many unconfirmed transactions. At least, you and the destination address have to use segwit. First, you have to set the electrum wallet; - Tools > preferences > Fees - Enable (use dynamic fees) - Enable (edit fees manually) And now you are ready to set custom fees to send bitcoin. Make sure to check recommended fees for current network. thanks , yes I updated it to 3.0.5 and segwit wallet only start with 3 right ? then only I can find out that destination also using segwit

Bitwala is crap, why are you using it? It is the same as saying "i'm using Wirex" they both are the same crap, only that bitwala has lower fees than wirex (a 1% less, lol) just created an account in bitwala.com because they say they have segwit but couldnt figure it out how/where they are showing they will take less fees , help needed ![Huh](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/huh.gif) But you forgot something, bitwala is not letting their users change the rate per fees (the satoshis per byte) and that is the reason of why you are never going to be able to modify the fees Guys, just use a normal wallet, do not use an exchange, or whatever you are using. hi thanks for the input , I already upgraded my electrum wallet , and also made a new segwit wallet there but couldnt find deference between fees there ![Sad](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/sad.gif)

mate thanks are there any way figure out the fee required for segwit wallet ? there are lots of site for legacy wallet but nothing for segwit wallet
You can calculate the size and recommended fee of a transaction by using this website: https://coinb.in/#feesJust select the number of inputs (of segwit) and outputs of your transaction. thanks lot mate ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)

Yes as far as I know if bitcoin will become more expensive or higher the transaction will be more higher too because it is based on some point that bitcoin has already do from the very start. And actually alts now is not yet exposed as Like bitcoin exposed from the people. So, it is not yet totally accepted because of it's not yet exposed. For today I advice you to transact with cards or paypal where you will spend money for transactions in a very cheap way not like bitcoin transactions. [/quote] thanks , yeah I am already planning to move to paypal to pay small amount bill Well like always in something new there will be buggs so give some time and "they " will find the solution or as you can call it "we" cuz we are all a part of it. Hope so mate , all this bitcoin hype made normal user like mine life horrible

I used to send 30 sat/b commission and accelerate the tx how u do it mate ? ![Embarrassed](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/embarrassed.gif) See if you can buy "credits" in bulk, for example pay $100 at once to be used as you need it later. Paying small amounts is unfortunately no longer possible, not only for you, but also for the receiving party, they have to pay the same fee to use your $20, meaning most of it is lost to them too. true , so true ,is it possible for the fees to go down in future ? Atleast 3-6$ is ok but more than will be economical loss , also I use blockchain wallet , one thing I noticed when I use their regular fees option to pay any bill , it takes forever to confirm ![Undecided](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/undecided.gif) even with higher fees in blockchain wallet , rate is lower than showing here https://bitcoinfees.earn.com/ , is it possible for mining companies to create a spamming environment to suck money as much as possible For your own fees, best you can do is switch to SegWit, and consolidate your small inputs at low fee when you're not in a rush. thanks for the suggestion ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) will check
