1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: HashAltcoin Blackminer F1--best FPGA miner on: September 24, 2018, 01:54:29 PM

I don't see any clear answer about if it's a scam or not ... If you do the numbers analysis , you will know their performance numbers is not that good compare to VCU1525/VU9P CVP-13/VU13P based design ... So not very attractive to me at all ... I think the truth will be clear fairly soon ...
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: HashAltcoin Blackminer F1--best FPGA miner on: September 24, 2018, 01:36:13 PM
You are fucking scammers who can't even write basic english.

You tried to promote your little scam in the bismuth dischord, when you got asked about technicals you failed to provide anything but gibberish.

Now after a few weeks of you're trying again, haha fuck off you retarded shit get a job if you can  Cheesy

So far it does not look like simple scam ... There are 12 FPGAs inside one machine ... If the performance numbers is 40Mh/s lyra2Z , that means each FPGA is only around 3.3Mh/s , quite close to an RX580 ... So it is reasonable performance numbers ...
This hash board does not have any external RAM , so it can only mine core-optimized algorithm ... You have to take the risk if the dev team of these algorithms decide to increase the memory requirement to make this kind of FPGA design a brick for these algorithms ...

Have you seen the videos these guys posted so far in their 1st thread here? (like a blurry video of some antminers).
Have you been in dischord and see them talk ?

Ok, it's a complex scam  Cheesy

They could LEND, not sell but LEND a device to any trusted member, look up to see how that went so far since this is not their 1st thread.

Their behaviour so far is inline with all scammers.

ROI of this FPGA miner is still more than one year after electricity bills ... If it's a simple scam , they will try to give you some even more tempting numbers rather than this kind poor efficiency numbers ...

I'm a professionnal developer and programmer.

I'm looking for scrypt ASICs to help me with the pre-mine.

I would like to rent for a few hours only.

I would give an interesting amount of this new coin in exchange. ( 84 millions coins total supply, I would give something like 10000 coins )

Plz answer here if anyone is interested.   Grin

6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: DIY FPGA Mining rig for any algorithm with fast ROI on: May 26, 2018, 05:57:55 AM
DDR4 is slow. You cannot use it for ethash or CN-7

There is special trick possibility for FPGA to use DDR3/4 while reach the performance level as GPU in Ethash ...

Regarding the question about bitstream compatibility, the answer is no, a bitstream built for VCU1525 will not work on the XUPP3R.  The clock & USB UART are on different pins, so I must 'build' two versions of the bitstream, one for each card.  Although the change in the code is tiny, it still takes the tools 5+ hours to re-run place & route, with multiple runs needed to get a success.

Can you inplement a double set of interfaces to support both boards by the single firmware?
BUFGMUX_CTRL can be used to select the clock signal, if clocking assignment is different.
It is probably possible to build one firmware for both board.

I get the general idea but I still have a hard time seeing how to do that with the USB-UART pins.

As far as 'resale' of these FPGA cards, there is also a tremendous future for AI mining.  In fact, if tens of thousands of people were mining crypto with these boards, and an AI mining server became available, they are so powerful that you might end up with a 'Skynet' type superintelligence, or the Kurzweil 'singularity' event.

My point is that if, for some reason, mining crypto became unprofitable, someone could re-sale access to the FPGA hardware for AI, weather prediction or any other compute-heavy tasks.

BTW , do you plan to support high-end Intel/Altera device/board in the coming future ? Thanks ~

The same idea as mine , but this kind of business opportunity will belong to mining FARM owners with enough resource to transform their hardware computing service from crypto mining resouce to AI mining resource ...

mining on FEE

stratum_subscribe timed out... every 3 seconds

and doesn't change to our pool  Embarrassed Embarrassed Embarrassed Embarrassed Embarrassed Embarrassed

fixed in 1.0.4a

Hi rvwf :

Is that possible for you to create a Bitcore optimized ccminer ? Bitcore use timetravel10 hash function and quite close to x16r did ...

after 3 hours of testing ...
average on enemy is better... i will test for 24 hours... i have 2 x 1080ti, one for enemy , one for rvwf

You have 1830 shares on rvwf vs 1824 on enemy -\ and pool sets higher diff on rvwf.

I had some reports about degradation of performance under windows. I started investigation and made my own test.

stock 1050ti , w7 https://imgur.com/bidURfR

A lot of people, dont take care about overclock preset - (-500 mem on enemy), and run rvwf on same settings.

rvwf miner performance very much depends on on mem speed. Please, if you have -500 mem downclock - reset to stock while testing!

Please consider change the time between fee mining in the next release ... The switch pool lost is really big ... I will recommend to donate 10 minutes and mine for the next 500 minutes ....
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: RavenCoin (RVN), x16r NVidia miner. on: March 30, 2018, 04:31:34 AM
Hi guys! I see you are using my miner. But still no feedback!

Hi RVWF :

I tried your RVN miner , it's really fast ... So I think 1% or 2% fee is OK ... But you should change the way you switch the fee pool ... Currently it switch too frequently ... I think you should change to mining 10 minutes and mine another 500 minutes ... Otherwise the switch loss is way too much ...
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Baikal Giant N - BUYING POOL on: March 11, 2018, 04:11:45 PM
isn't cryptonight memory intensive, weren't asic hard to build for memory intensive algo?

There is something called discrete "SRAM" ... SRAM is fast but expensive , but 2MB per instance is not that big ...
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN]Bitcore- BTX - SEGWIT - lowest fee - hybrid fork 1:0.5 of Bitcoin on: December 26, 2017, 12:05:15 AM
So 4/23/2018 is the day when the price drops significantly. Really useful to show this prediction so that everybody can sell at the same time. It may even crash the market.

well, if so it means that all the people hold this coin only because the weekly airdrop.
I don't think that that is the only reason to hold or invest in this coin. And maybe some other guy will think the same.

A lot of BTX holders only care about the price and airdrop , that's for sure ... The only reason they buy this is because they can have free airdrop and high interest rate during the airdrop distribution ... But that's ok IMHO ... We have all kinds of members in this community ... Someone will join and someone will quit in the future ... The community formation could be changed by the follow development ... There are still 4 months ahead before airdrop fund run out ... I am waiting for the road map/spec/code update and the marketing activities from dev team ...

Thanks for the drop and the special drop I felt special this morning should have looked here first haha. That day won't necesarily get dumped it squarely hinges on what happens in the next few months. If there is no roadmap or marketing than yeah you can expect a mass dump off but if BTX gains more traction, gets more users, and overall the progression is good then I would expect a much smaller dump. We won't know what will happen until February or March of next year then you can try predicting what is going to happen.

Yeah ... We need to wait and see what's the progress from the dev team ... If all the upcoming development progress is good , don't need to worry about there will be massive dump ... But if there is only something ordinary plus the airdrop , we will have a big problem though ...

Can you tell us in a sentence or two what was the problem and how it was solved? Just out of curiosity.

Bitcloud is initiated by someone else in 2016 : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1604893.0 ... And it looks like Limx Dev decide to give it a help and make it become Bitcloud 2.0 ... It should be a community project from the beginning ... Maybe that's so called " Sometimes you just to want to help , but people think you have to be responsible for all the these thing because you just jumped in and helped ...

It is quite profitable! actually one of the most profitable coins right now.
This is a joke.

why is it a joke?
There are many (shit)coins which give more BTC than BTX. Sell its and buy BTX - best strategy.  Cool

i can't see that many to be honest, they are giving all the same profit but bitcore give you big interest every week

What he means is mining something more profitable and exchange them to BTX ...

Hey folks,

I just made a small spreadsheet with my Airdrop end date prediction based on the current history and model of the Airdrop.
This is obviously not 100% correct but it gives me at least a better view of how it all might unfold.

If the % is a reverse declining trend , it may looks like this excel sheet ... Weekly airdropped coin numbers will remain in the same range , it will help to stabilize the market price compare to the current plan in the last few weeks ...

I don't say it is a bad idea, just saying it is a delicate matter. changing the airdrop rules can create confusion inside the community. hell, even talking about it will create confusion... wait and see future replies. just an example: u can see dumb people in almost every page expecting to get % airdrop with 0 btx in their wallets. imagine making those people understand new airdrop rules. hell unleashed...

IMHO , this is so called decentralized . The monetary policy can be decided and changed by the whole community's latest will , not some one or some group of people defined in the past ... Just think about the community formation is quite different from time to to time ... If it's necessary , why not vote again ? The whole BTX crypto system is designed to benefit the whole community who use this system to store value and to do all kinds of transaction , not someone who made the decision in the past . So if the overall situation is required to change the system rule , we should think about should we changed it
or not ... Otherwise , it will be just like Bitcoin is kidnapped by certain group of people who refuse to upgrade the system to meet the latest system demand which already cause a lot of daily transaction problem ...
