It is quite profitable! actually one of the most profitable coins right now. 1070 gives 20 MH/s and 1060 gives 13,5 MH/s (i have both)
With 100 MH/s you get little over 1 BTX per day now... if you also calculate airdrops every monday it is a very nice result. Even with the price BTX is now... but it is expected to go all the way up, so in that case mine now, be happy later Smiley Best is probably to buy some BTX now because it is relatively cheap, so you have some good earnings by airdrops every monday + keep minning so you get more.

Please guys come and request Bitcore to be added to Shapeshift all I see is lots of posts moaning about CMC if you put that energy into getting the coin listed and used in more places i'm sure more adoption will quickly follow.

and exactly how are you getting 20 with a 1070? Ive never gotten over 16.5 with mine, 8GB 1070, even with overclocking the GPU.

BTX has seen a very good increase in popularity the past few months, only thing I see lacking is the price compared to every other coin. Normally price should be around 400k-800k sats since we went above 500k couple weeks ago.

SPmod gives 20 mh/s on 1070, I even reached 21 with hardcore OC, but it was too unstable.

I think there is an additional option - facebook advertisements.

Hi Frogpoet,
I like your idea. We might also ask the Coredevs if this is o.k. for them to do such kind of adwertisment.
Otherwise just post your Bitcore address here in the forum and I pretty sure that we can collect some coins
for this project.

thanks. i'm still not sure yet if my approach would be optimal, because it might seem unprofessional to receivers of the facebook ad to notice that the destination address of the landing page is on my band's domain. "if these guys are worth their salt," they may ask, "why aren't they running this campaign off of their own page?" Now I know that bitcore does have its own facebook business page (https://www.facebook.com/Bitcore.Coin/ - although I note that there is only one team member listed there - "Steve Müller" - whereas the recent post by Kryptowerk about the new team members ( https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1883902.msg26400767#msg26400767 ) lists "Bisquick Crown" as the facebook manager) - so I assume that "steve muller" is the same person as "Steve aka metamorphin: lead networker and social media coordinator" also mentioned in the above post) so ideally that business page should be the one to put out an advertisement. someone other than myself though would then have to make the landing page so that they could post it on a domain actually owned by bitcore, such as https://bitcore.cc/ , or alternatively they could just use that home page as the landing page, but if they wanted to track individual user actions then they would need to put a facebook pixel in it and tie calls to it onto onclick javascript events.  perhaps if Steve Muller or Bisquick Crown did this, they could then publish a bitcore address to which we could all contribute however much we wanted for the furtherance of marketing the coin, instead of relying on my own address? that should make it easier for people to trust it.
