I want to buy 5 bitcoins. Paypal is preferred, but just about any method should do. That about sums it up...
PM me if you are interested. Wink
2  Economy / Goods / Buying 1 month RS Membership for 1 BTC on: September 02, 2011, 01:28:57 AM
I am buying a 1 Month Runescape Membership for 1 BTC, or about $9.00. I am willing to go first with a trusted member on OTC. PM me for more details.
3  Other / Obsolete (buying) / Re: [HIRING] Writers needed for The Bitcoin Sun on: June 03, 2011, 01:05:22 AM
I am interested Smiley.  I worked for a year for my college newspaper as a freelance journalist/photographer.  Plus, I could also write articles in Spanish, since I am also fluent in it.

Pick a topic, pm it to me to get it approved, then write! Works for me Smiley

I will proofread and edit articles for 0.5 BTC (possibly less) Per article.
I am offering this because I noticed several errors in the sun.

Yeah our leader isn't a native speaker and neither is one of the writers, I try and catch what I can but not all of it. Maybe PM Ploum?
Ploum?
I'd be happy to point out some mistakes in a PM if that's what you mean.

I'll do it if there's no commitment, no matter how good I am.  Wink
Where can I find the sun so I can see examples of what you're looking for.

7  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Bitcoil - Exchange bitcoins for ILS on: May 23, 2011, 09:24:13 PM
Honestly, I'm not surprised.
Do you have an exchange fee?
8  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Open Source Bitcoin Casino on: May 22, 2011, 07:18:56 PM
If you release an open source casino, people will rig the system.
9  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Free Books for All! on: May 22, 2011, 06:56:08 PM
I was kind of doubting you'd actually get it.

I have now downloaded it, so you can delete the link

I could use the python cookbook
11  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [~1100 Gh/s Mining Pool] SSL, API, instant payouts,LP,+1% for NO INVALID BLOCKS on: May 21, 2011, 04:01:42 PM
Can you please cover the passwords on the site. I don't feel comfortable using my passwords on my miners without covering it with stars or something.
12  Economy / Marketplace / Re: luke-jr is a scammer - he renegged on a bitcoin futures contract on: May 18, 2011, 10:25:37 AM
since the contract is so distorted, I doubt it could be called a futures contract. In fact, you'll probably never gain any fame for this miserable half-contract. The terms are so arbitrary on both sides that I could easily have used this to gain lots and lots of bitcoins.
13  Economy / Marketplace / BitBank is now in Beta on: May 17, 2011, 11:45:46 AM
To open an account PM me and I'll let you in.
Ill be taking a bitcent for every 10 BTC you deposit, and I'll take a bitnickel if you try to smartass your way out of it.
Loans will be available soon.
14  Other / Obsolete (selling) / Re: <WEB DESIGN / PROGRAMMING & HOSTING> Offering services for BTC. on: May 12, 2011, 12:01:02 AM
Thanks. I think that's more than I can afford, so I'll get back to making it myself.

16  Other / Obsolete (buying) / Re: 50 BTC if you write a complete guide on GPU mining on Ubuntu using ATI on: May 05, 2011, 09:53:13 PM
Thanks. I have a dedicated mining rig, but its in another country, so I can't get to it. Either way, it's still fun to mess round with Ubuntu.
17  Other / Obsolete (buying) / Re: 50 BTC if you write a complete guide on GPU mining on Ubuntu using ATI on: May 04, 2011, 10:44:46 PM
It stops working on
Code:
sudo aticonfig --initial
it says
Code:
sudo: aticonfig: command not found
or
Code:
aticonfig: no supported adapters detected

I'm running Ubuntu thru my iMac via VirtualBox, because I don't have enough spare hardware for a dedicated Ubuntu computer right now. The iMac is late 2010 (second newest version as of yesterday), if that matters.

Could it be a problem routing the command thru VirtualBox the the driver on my mac?

Thanks in advance.
18  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: Official DiabloMiner GPU Miner Thread (now with Long Poll support) on: May 02, 2011, 10:52:28 PM
Gives me this (OSX)

Exception in thread "main" java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: com/diablominer/DiabloMiner/DiabloMiner
Caused by: java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: com.diablominer.DiabloMiner.DiabloMiner

Any Help? Seems to be missing a class file

Are you sure you downloaded the binary version from the first message? (git clone/source downloads won't work unless you build it first)
I used the binary on the first post. Can having Xcode installed make the script not do something (eg run when clicked on)
