hope I'm not too late to the party I've reflashed my controller twice and even used a different rasp pie model 3 b with no luck I've tried everything from setting up wifi instead of the ethernet here is a link to a quick video showing my setup (light on miner is yellow you cant tell that in the video) and I attached some photos of my config as you guys cant help without those photos.

System log pastebin: https://pastebin.com/B3SZMzm4

Kernel log pastebin: https://pastebin.com/Vajijez5

Imgur with more than enough screenshots: https://imgur.com/a/0jD5v

My guess is the controller is not able to see the miner I have taken it apart and made sure all connections are correct that is also in the imgur post

try with another AUC3,,

that is the first thing I did but I don't see how it would hurt to go dig up another one from my stack of miners (in the process of getting a building for my 64 miners) will post a update after I swap out the AUC3

where buy the 64 minners??? canaan??,,

Did you have a problem to buy them?
I'm thinking of buying a pallet of 60, but I'm afraid they do not send them to me

For one, go to the Canaan site. At the top you will see "Read Before You Buy". It has links to setup including a you-tube...

Easiest is to change the miner to use DHCP. Save/apply. Now it will automatically connect to any network, you just have to find its address from the router.

From there, connect the Raspi to your network and look at the Router info to find the address. Depending on the router it will either show up as 'Unknown" or a RasPi model name.

From there just change to the pools you want to use and again save/apply.
hi
i did  all of thouse steps, and still doesn’t work.

i have 4 miners, all lights of them are green.

and the AUC3 have  blue light.

Appologies to admin if this post doesn't belong here and if it is the case please point me to right direction.

I got avalon 741 miner plugged in and running, but it's not mining.

i installed cgminer and joined kano pool.
miner defaul ip is 192.168.0.100, gateway and DNS is 192.168.0.1
i can log in to menu (if i change tcp/ipv4 settings on my laptop ) and change settings but i dont know what shuld i put in (network settings ets...)
my broadband adress is 192.168.1.254

do i need to change ip addresses in miner network settings to make it work?

Please help.

My simple tip is that if you have 220V or greater mains voltage, go with sidehack kit (HP DPS-1200 + breakout board and cables).
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=940317.0
Quote
DPS1200 PSU Kit (S7/S9 compatible)

This kit includes one DPS-1200FBA 1200W-rates server PSU, one GekkoScience DPS812 board, and ten 18" PCIe double-ended 16AWG cables. Kit pricing is $80, a savings of around 10% over buying everything individually.
The DPS-1200FBA PSU is rated to deliver 900W from 120VAC and 1200W from 200-240VAC, but it's capable of better than that - I have run S4+, S7 and S9 miners off this supply. If you know what you're doing, voltage is internally adjustable from 11.8V-12.8V

PRICE: $80 each

If you have 110V / 120V mains voltage, EVGA 1300W power supply is a good choice.

You need the AvalonMiner controller.

Hello thanks a lot, any cheaper version around 50$ USD I can buy from amazon or ebay?   so I must buy Avalon Controller ? for every miner? or?  EVGA 1300W is over +250 USD too expensive   need more options

the controller can run 1,2,3,4,5,6  easy

if you are  a 120 volt guy  this psu is good  if you set the unit to -1

https://www.amazon.com/Seasonic-Power-supply-Supply-SSR-1200GD/dp/B01N7P5NSY/ref=sr_1_2?

Price 199USD  Seasonic Power supply Power Supply SSR-1200GD   too expensive Sad

got in I will buy controller as well. thanks for telling

If someone know good PSU 50-60$ range please tell me

if you are a 120 volt guy the answer = no

does not exist .

maybe 2 psu's   I will look for a sale

thanks mate
LoL i have zero knowledge in this field  how to know if I am 120 VOLT guy? Cheesy

usa = 120 volt for your wall receptacles  in your house

much of the rest of the world = 240 volt  for your wall receptacles

if you have 240 power the cheap kits cost about 100 bucks

but since I like to search  2 of these  will do the trick  and will use    110 to 240

https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=9SIA7GT5NN1424&cm_re=hp_power_supply-_-9SIA7GT5NN1424-_-Product

2 psu's will work
