1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] TenX: Making Blockchain assets spendable on: April 25, 2018, 11:19:16 AM

One could have called PundiX a wreck also as people who participated on the ICO made a loss up until about a week ago when it boomed. TenX will boom also once they get their banking license.
[/quote]

Problem with that is cash burn in the meantime. The banking licence ain't coming pre 2020 IMO, TokenPay can't even get one in a hurry in Vanautu, TenX are trying in Europe, do we think they have enough ETH to get them to there?

Why is the WebApp relay token changer down (some more detail than documentation pls? Is that the only interface to it?

"You can order cards exclusively through the official TenX wallet applications" > Link

Anyone can order TenX cards, but at the moment they only ship to European countries.

https://support.tenx.tech/hc/en-us/sections/115000236871-Orders-Shipping

Thanks a lot man! I heard about the shipment restrictions already, good that Im located in europe. Do you by chance know how long it does take them to produce and ship the card if I would order one now?

A friend ordered and received his in the space of about two weeks recently in Europe.

Dividend Announcement Taas 4,36 $ and now 5,5 $ difference 1,14 dollar. Only the announcement is worth 1,14 dollar
Already sold first account from ICO about 300 TAAS
So I will sure sell all TAAS before dividend. After dividend I will be too late
Cause after dividend price falls back to 4.36

Only if you think that dividend is higher then 1,14 dollar a TAAS.

I will pick up TAAS at 4.36 dollar again. I Think I have more then with dividend.

ok  but if everybody would doing this  price can't climb to 20,30$

and this is not supporting style or project, taas, community and taas teaM

If you are depending on people hodling to drive up the price of your investment you are doing it wrong.

congrats!
so, what about listings, guys?

I talked in telegram, support said they are not interested on exchange listing for now.

Is this still the case or or there plans to list the tokens at any point?

Thanks.
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN]Stox - Prediction market platform | Token sale has ended on: October 04, 2017, 12:33:25 AM
Guys, i know my question is not original, but maybe who knows, when is stox will add to Bittrex or Polo?

in my opinion never.
bittrex started adding coins.
the first one after a long time is adacoin.
did anyone heard it before?i guess not.
they are adding coins for their own profit.
they probably got half of the total adacoin supply to add it to their exchange.

It might have more to do with Bittrex not listing so many shitcoins. They are dropping Bitshares imminently.

Adacoin has years of decent development and devs behind it  (I don't own any).

You send your private key to a website and it is no security issue?

With a Ledger and MEW your private key does NOT get sent to a site. It works locally in the browser.

10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ANN [MCO] MONACO #1 Cryptocurrency Payments Card on: September 21, 2017, 06:47:28 AM
ok, so I examined the website of both TenX and Monaco, and for me it boils down to two important numbers:

Cashback for card holders: 0.1% for TenX and 0.75% for Monaco, that's 7500% more cashback you'd get for using Monaco instead of TenX for making the same purchases.

Token Holder reward: 0.5% for TenX and 1% for Monaco, so an MCO token holder would get twice the dividends as a PAY token holder.

I think the first point makes users to prefer to order and use Monaco card instead of TenX, as you get much more cashback. Which will cause wider adoptions.

Try 750%

Has there been tester of alpha version?

I am singularly unimpressed with the Alpha. I was able to make 'bets' on 2 markets, the US Open and Ethereum Forking. I was then unable to say add more to my existing bet or make a second prediction in the same market. I hold some Stox and have worked in software -  I would be embarrassed with this 'Alpha'.
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [ICO] FunFair.io - Disrupting Online Gaming - New Casino Platform on: July 21, 2017, 04:20:32 PM
Coin supply totally makes sense and to be honest I think 17 billion is not enough for Casino based service, should probably be 100 billion.  Because those FUN tokens will be used as currency to play all games, so more is better so there are more bigger rewards in the gaming system.  People don't understand about supply of coins, they think its too many, but this is for different purpose other than investing, its for fun and gaming!

This! It makes little difference what the number of coins is. It could be one coin divisible into billions, it is a just a representation, the actual number makes little real difference, for practical purpose billions for a casino makes WAY more sense.

I participated with DASH, but can't seem to see my my balance using the token checker.  It doesn't give an error that the transaction isn't there, rather, clicking on the button does nothing.  I've already signed the transaction with my Ether address and submitted.  Does anyone else have this problem?

exact same problem. my tx was in the first block after 1pm.

Maybe this was too late. I don't know and would at least want my Dash back...

Glad to see I'm not the only one with this issue.   There are transactions before and after mine whose TX IDs i checked and it displays their tokens.  So in my case, I know I wasn't late and it has to be either I'm doing something wrong with signing a message with my ether address or some sort of glitch on their end.

The signing is quite finicky, unless you used the DASHcore wallet (which signs impeccably) you have to copy/paste only from only the part beginning H and ending = don't copy the DASH address or the BEGIN/END signing part. I imagine you got in if you used DASH.

example: H/TezhWSZryiBUZbohEs6Oz+0M+vW/l45K9C6TVq6Gx7F3MQ+JqqEWKmquxMmiqbHeVS2DASf3r/SkS9inqjjSc=
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Byteball hype over or time to buy? on: June 16, 2017, 10:36:44 PM
Does this coin have strong enough technological value to keep growing, [...]?

I'm observing Byteball and have read the whitepaper. I'm not sure if the DAG has any advantage over a traditional blockchain besides faster transaction propagation, so that could be a plus.

But on the other hand, the coin is actually very centralized (it can be regarded as a "proof of concept" at most) and not totally trustless, even when the witnesses are to be freely elected it will be more a kind of "web of trust" like Ripple. I regard it as more centralized - and thus more vulnerable to social engineering attacks - than DPOS coins like Bitshares.

Did you read the whitepaper?

Note that just because you regard something as centralized does not make it centralized. Being anonymous and being decentralized are two different things, the fact that witnesses in the Byteball network are known entities is an advantage, not a disadvantage. It would be very difficult (read effectively impossible due to the negative return on investment) for someone to acquire enough witnesses using fake identities to create a "shadow chain" that the main chain would not deem invalid.

The system is a democratic one and will require some vigilance on the part of its users to maintain honest witnesses, however if you have people using Byteball for storing or transferring any substantial value then they will ultimately be very interested in the health of the network.

Scaling is the biggest issue for crypto currencies and if any store of value wants to really take a global stage it has to be able to deal with the demands of that. As soon as transactions start slowing down you hamper productivity - people will move to a faster chain. Maybe Bitcoin will retain its value because it was #firstcoin and but it cannot handle the demands of hundreds of thousands of transactions per second, which is what you will need if you have a platform that deals with trading digital assets. This is why, IMO, I don't think Ethereum has a future.

my $0.02

So you would not have confidence in Vitalik's proposals to solve scalabilty with 'sharding' etc? I also think it's a potential pitfall but am not entirely pessimistic about the chance to solve it.

Perhaps there can even be 'mergers' of tech in the future to solve issues and some may be quite complimentary? IOTA has talked of being able to compliment Ethereum (though not neccessarily with the scaling issue).
