Supply makes total sense, but we are considering options.

We need to decide what makes sense to raise to compete in traditional markets.

We arent a crypto niche. What do we need marketing wise to go up against the large casinos? That's not cheap and what regions do we want to enter. It's strategic, if we dont need surplus coins it makes no sense not to burn as opposed to dilute. The only reason we would want the additional coin supply is if strategically it puts us in a stronger position.

There is a conversation about this in discord.

https://www.reddit.com/r/FunfairTech/comments/6o9gxv/beware_unofficial_group_invites_and_slackemail/

Currently, there is a wave of phishing and fraud attempts targeting new people to the crypto space.

They are particularly targeting the Myetherwallet users buying tokens.

Myetherwallet and my Myetherwa11et or MyetherwaIIet may look different to you in this thread with this font. Now copy paste into your browser. A capital 'i' is all that's needed to appear legitimate.

Once you enter your username and password your account is compromised.

They are hitting users on Slack, Telegram, Reddit and many associated social sites.

DO NOT trust alerts from those sites, specifically direct messaging.

Funfair will only communicate through moderator authored Reddit (like this post - bitcoin-o-rama[M]), Bitcointalk and Discord posts or on the official blog, pinned telegram messaging through official group.

We will not contact you directly in a direct message and tell you to change anything to do with your webwallet access.

You should not be using a web wallet for your FUN tokens if you have a considerable amount.

Best practice for ERC20 tokens are Ledger and Trezor.

Ledger is a hardware wallet company Jez invested in some time back and has proven time and time again to take security seriously. All the Funfair team use ledger.

Trezor is the open source hardware wallet developed by Slush who also created the original mining pool; slush's pool. Trezor is my personal favourite, but I've been involved in the space a long time and the hardware wallet is Slush's innovation. He's done a lot for the scene and they've always taken my suggestions on board so I have a lot of respect for the Czech based team. There will be a trezor 2 soon which should allow the use of tokens in even more innovative ways.

Please do not use web wallets for storage. We aren't creating this tech for someone else to be the custodian.

BACK-UP MNEUMONIC PASSWORDS. Buy a Cryptosteel or two and double check everything.

We are about to launch an official telegram group. Like other telegram groups to will push news, but likely be trading focused price action due to it's live fluid conversation and the community focus there being based on trading chat.

The Telegram is @FunFairTech - https://www.t.me/FunFairTech - It will be listed amongst the official @Crypto groups. I would only trust groups on that page. They are peer reviewed and heavily moderated to keep out scammers and questionable groups similar to those promoting via some recent reddit and bitcointalk and slack posts.

This sticky is to prevent reminders as any rogue posts will be removed.

Stay Safe.
P.S. Will try and arrange some discount coupons for the hardware wallets if there is enough interest?

Coin supply totally makes sense and to be honest I think 17 billion is not enough for Casino based service, should probably be 100 billion.  Because those FUN tokens will be used as currency to play all games, so more is better so there are more bigger rewards in the gaming system.  People don't understand about supply of coins, they think its too many, but this is for different purpose other than investing, its for fun and gaming!

Is it bottom already to buy?
Looks like it's going to rise now, don't want to miss the good opportunity to buy in some FF tokens....

This! It makes little difference what the number of coins is. It could be one coin divisible into billions, it is a just a representation, the actual number makes little real difference, for practical purpose billions for a casino makes WAY more sense.

I like this project, especially the potential of team leader.. but agree, the massive number of tokens held by founders keeps me cautious.

Ya, me. I just sold all my Fun. After 1 billion its like f that, game over. It aint even so much about the billions of tokens going to dev team. Well maybe a little. But just having billions of coins at all messes up the investment part of the deal. I ain't waiting 5 - 10 years for an ROI. Who's in charge of this / these ico's anyway? They need to be fired so damn hard. 50 - 100 million, now that's a nice range. 500 million and its like dang bro! I'm still in but dang! After that you better be selling some super dope shizzit!

Yeah you should really join the discord and pay attention to the chat there. The maximal token amount created is current, but what might happen is a huge amount burned. They are trying to gauge what the issuance should be come the main ico.

Correct me if I am wrong but isn't there going to be another ICO for FUNfair ? There were extra tokens created in the initial offering to be offered at a later date. These tokens will get burned as they are used too. There are 1 Billion EOS being created, not burned and an inflation rate up to 5%

Hello, what is different in your opinion about this coin that would make it succeed? Lately there have been atleast 3 or 4 Casino Tokens announced, so how will you gain more value than them?
i think this token have little chance to success because casino and gambling site alway have many players and participation.. but need another opinions.. Huh

I also think that competition in this space is already really tough.

Competition is tough for vapourware, but Funfair has a working product

May seem that the competition is tough but getting the reward will make it all worth it. Good luck to all of us.

After reading all this white paper, the applied Fate Channel technology is very good, this project as the backbone and potentially possessed by this new state channel, hoping the future is good and better
