Not a bad idea.

How do you intend to counteract the issues with loans across cryptos and the volatility in them? If you loan on collateral that that person has but due tot he volatility the collateral becomes worth a lot less.

hey,

I was just wondering what is the reasoning behind having an infinite number of coins?

Thanks!
Where do you see this? COLX should have a max of 11 billion coins, most of them swapping from CV2 to COLX

On the first Ann page:

Block Reward:
Blocks 2 - 151,200: 2500 COLX
Blocks 151,201 - 302,399: 1250 COLX
Blocks 302,400 - Infinite:  1000 COLX
Proof of Stake Schedule:  5% to proposals for all phases
95% distributed to stake wallet and master node

Yep.  Masternode is 25k for SCORE.

Hoping for code to be finished soon.

Cheers for the speedy response - Do we have an idea of what the reward will be?

Cant seem to find that on the website either.

Has a decision been made on how many scorecoin you need for a Masternode?

I have read 25,000 - but also seen polls for other numbers.

Thanks.

Hey,

Thanks for your help before, much appreciated!

Next question....

So I have 1 Zeus & 1 gridseed hooked up and they are working fine. I now want to add a U3 - I presume this is possible but not sure how to be honest. If i plug it in the Minera terminal sees it plugged in but I don't know how to add it as a seperate local miner and direct it to a SHA pool rather than scrypt.

Could you give me a hand please?

Cheers,
Raab

I hoped I helped some Smiley ...

I think you may be right. I have got another SD card and put raspbian on it and then directly BFGminer. Ran through the whole installation and finally got to the end and tocheck that the pi could find the Zeus and got this:

pi@raspberrypi:~/bfgminer $ lsusb
Bus 001 Device 005: ID 192f:0916 Avago Technologies, Pte.
Bus 001 Device 004: ID 0bda:8176 Realtek Semiconductor Corp. RTL8188CUS 802.11n WLAN Adapter
Bus 001 Device 003: ID 0424:ec00 Standard Microsystems Corp. SMSC9512/9514 Fast Ethernet Adapter
Bus 001 Device 002: ID 0424:9514 Standard Microsystems Corp.
Bus 001 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0002 Linux Foundation 2.0 root hub
pi@raspberrypi:~/bfgminer $

So either it isn't getting enough power from the pi or it is broken I think...!

ahhhh right! Sorry - I understand you now!

I have ordered a USB hub and hopefully that will arrive and sort it tomorrow.

And no, it picks up the Zeus when it is connected to the pi as a "network miner" when you click "scan" on Minera.

I haven't touched the API settings.

So, I have borrowed a Gridseed off of a friend and set that up and it works fine. I seem to be able to get a hash rate of 355kh consistantly and I have connected to litepool and that it updating on their side as well.

With both of them plugged in and running and both plugged into usb's into the Pi I am still only picking up the gridseed.

Any ideas?

Thanks again

plug both of them into a external self powered USB hub and plug that hub into the PI it sounds like that PI can't power both together so you may need a self powered external USB hub to help .

DO both grid seed work by them self but not to gather ? .. that's a PI USB port power issue if so .

I still have one of the g-blade black gridseeds that ran at 25 MH@ 500 or less watts at the wall with one bad blade they came with a inside self powered hub board and RPI.

and for the Zeus miner i have one of those still I rebuilt for fun that still runs and is missing one blade.

I USE BFG miner, setting below with minera

Code:
--scrypt -S all -S zus:all --set zus:chips=xxx --set zus:clock=xxx

XXX i left at X because i don't know what Zeus miner you have .

you can use them all to gather i used to on the same PI .

Thanks mate.

I have seperate PSU's for both the Zeus Blizzard and the Gridseed 5 chip.

So each the pi, blizzard and gridseed are all seperately powered.

What I can't seem to do with run the Blizzard with Minera. It is working fine with the Gridseed but doesn't seem to be able to pick it up when plugged into the Pi. Does seem to find it as a network miner though I think...

15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Minera Help on: August 03, 2017, 10:28:48 AM
Morning all,

Looking for a bit of a help as not ever done this before.

I want to start minging as a bit of a hobby/fun/interest.

So I bought a pi3 and a Zeus Blizzard (the little one with the fan on top).

I followed as many guides as I could, I image wrote minera to an SD card, installed it on my pi, plugged that into an ethernet and then plugged the miner into the pi. The miner and Zeus both have separate power supplys.

So, now I pulled up the minera dash on my computer and have tried to get everything working from there with the settings.

It is set up and currently active on 2 pools (east.multipool) and also has the option of prohashing.com. Both of them say alive and one is active.  I am unable to get any hashrate at all though. Miner has been on for over an hour with no network hashrate, no pool hashrate and no shares.

Also, Minera is only picking up the Zeus as a network miner. I can't seem to find any local miner details. In the local miner settings I have selected CGminer (Dmaxl Zeus Fork) and put the correct preconfigured miner options in (I think!). But I dont think that has helped as the Zeus keeps coming up as a netowkr miner....

Having fiddled with this for a bit I have changed the settings to BFGminer but doesn't seem to help. The dash says the miner is ocnnected but nothing else.

This is the miner real time log:

hey,

So, just started this today. Need a bit of help!

I have a raspberry pi 3 that I put Minera on. followed all of that and got it set up finally. I then plugged in a Blizzard fury to the USB and with its own PSU. The raspberry is upstairs wired to the router. The Blizzard is connected to the raspberry.

I have managed to get minera working mostly. It is set up and currently active on your pool (east.multipool) and also has the option of prohashing.com. Both of them say active and alive.  I am unable to get any hashrate at all though. Miner has been on for over an hour with no network hashrate, no pool hashrate and no shares.
