github has no updates since 2018,explorer and site are not available,no discord or telegram. Only yobit manipulation i guess.

As far as I know there is still an active Discord. The most recent invite link is somewhere a few pages back. It's probably expired now though. I don't know if the dev is pumping and dumping but you're right regarding the rest. SDHarley has stepped away and left the coin to rot but he's still active in this thread. He said this in March:

All I'm going to say is that I did nothing of the sort. I didn't dump and abandon. If the accuser can prove otherwise please post it publicly because it wasn't me.

And on the wallet maintenance related points, what is the blockchain doing? If it's not moving, that's why the wallet is in maintenance.

The Discord group still exists and is growing. There is still a chance for what I started if anybody wants to pick it up.

So if you know anyone who wants to pick this up, please do. I will say, the biggest mistake the dev made was choosing such an extreme algorithm. No one wants to mine this coin because it costs way to much. I think the coin would have gained so much more support with an algo that would allow people to mine at home with GPU setup. Just my 2 cents.

Are you sure you’re pointing at the same blockchain as the Yobit source? I’ll say one thing about Yobit and that’s they’re pretty crap at updating source. Since SOCC was forked and then attacked I’m no longer sure which source they’ll have compiled.

On Feb 13th the wallet on YObit was online and I xfered out some SocialCoin to my wallet to test if they were on the right chain.

The transfer worked, that is one of the tests I perform before I dedicate any time or effort into a coin.  If the exchange is not on the right chain I won't bother.

Since the time of my test transaction, the wallet went into maintenance, but I see no reason or issues on the blockchian to cause this.

Usually, Yobit auto-drops wallets for stale blockchains to maintenance mode. This happened a lot in the beginning of SOCC when there wasn't enough hash power to push the block forward. But, if prohashing is on the correct blockchain then it looks like there's plenty of activity even today. https://prohashing.com/explorer/Socialcoin/ So I'm guessing it's something on yobit side.

So sd harley did exit scam... sorry for the investors I was right all along..he dumped and abandoned the project... what a shitscammmer and a liar

Can you please provide some evidence to back up your claim? I'm not on discord and haven't been paying much attention recently. I wouldn't be surprised if this was true. I've been following SOCC since it's inception. The idea is great but the coin is practically worthless. There's no way it was worth the effort he put in over like 2 years. If this was a scam, it was a shitty one. Thanks.

Hi dev, do I have the opportunity to somehow exchange the coins received before the fork for new coins?

Fork happened a long time ago. Someone can confirm, but I'm pretty sure all you need to do is make sure your coins are in a recent wallet and all is well? I've never heard of having to exchange coins for a fork but I could be wrong.

Congratulations on the value of coin
I am new and I want to invest in this coin, how can I synchronize my wallet?

There's nothing special to do. Just open wallet and make sure it's connected to the internet. Also make sure you have the nodes added to the wallet config file. It's pretty typical that the wallet won't sync completely until the next block moves which historically has been very slow due to limited mining.

Example conf file based on first post:
Code:
rpcuser=<specify password or wallet address>
rpcpassword=x
rpcallowip=127.0.0.1
rpcport=18646
port=18645
listen=1
server=1
addnode=13.59.61.11
addnode=13.59.61.11:18645
addnode=51.9.44.233:18645
addnode=109.152.186.237:18645
addnode=5.167.121.35:18645

Why should you delete my message? I am a month that I try to get answers to have the 60% of cxt you promised, you sent me the email, I sent you my address and you never sent me the cxt
Mine was deleted also. I guess dev doesn't want everyone to know they never paid out.

In a weeks time it has been 3months since are CXT swap to XCXT and non of us have had 60% refunds yet, I dont know what the hold up is? Its not exactly hard to send a transaction
    We would repay back the 60% in less than 7 days to come.

               Thank you

So again, has anyone received the payout as promised? It's a reasonable question. Deleting it just makes you guys look more like scammers.

Has anyone heard anything from the developer or about the CXT refund from coin exchange? I have not seen any updates from the deveoper even though hes been online most days, Has he abandoned this project to concentrate on another?

The coin was swapped to CoinonatX long back. The swap period of 7 days is now over.

-support team

Dev abandoned this project the moment he brought out XCXT. Kris is asking about the 60% of swapped CXT we were all promised when we swapped. We were promised 20% for 3 months that was supposed to start 2 months ago. After ignoring everyone's request for information for weeks, we were told dev would be giving all 60% at once. That never happened and whenever anyone mentions it you respond that the swap is over and skirt the issue that the refund hasn't been executed as promised. So when will we be getting our 60% refund that was promised? Although, at 92 sat and $200 daily volume I'm not sure it's even worth fighting for anymore.

There is one dev, goes by iam2good, who rarely participates in his threads. There is also a single person 'support team', goes by visale, offering pretty much all of the support. Although, he just appeared one day without explanation and his exact relationship to XCXT remains to be seen. I suggest you read through the CXT thread https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1835672.0 and the old XCXT thread https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2068761.0 before you decide to invest.

This same guy has made Coimatic, Coimatic 2.0, Virta Unique Coin, Namo Coin, Coinonat and now CoinonatX and he is called a SCAM ARTIST

He just makes new coin when last coin gets dead when people realize he is not ever going to develop the coin. Just going for short term wins. And yes, iam2good I am going to hunt every single coin you make and tell in threads what you are made off.

Yesterday looked at this to proper realisation and to stop limit.
Thanks Erbott1

In before delete like previous posts mentioning scam. The best thing to do would be to create a new topic on the Altcoin Discussion board like "Beware CXT, XCXT scam! iam2good is scammer!" or whatever. Point everyone in these topics to that thread where they can post their accusations and hopefully evidence without risk of censorship. Unfortunately, once the pitchforks come out the value is going to plummet and all of us are going to get screwed, except maybe dev and visale.

How tedious can this be?

I followed the steps very carefully and when it comes to transferring the 5000 XCXT to the MN address, I get transaction failed.
Do I need 24hrs for my coins to mature? I just got them in.

This was on a new MN. Older one was deleted as it kept send TXN Fees instead of the 5000.

TIA

You have to wait for all the transaction confirmations to complete before you can send those coins. That can take anywhere from a few minutes to a few hours. Once the coins have cleared you can send them to the mn address. Ensure the wallet is connected to the network and is unlocked when sending. The wallet showing the transaction fee instead of the 5000 XCXT in the transaction list is a common problem. It doesn't mean the coins weren't sent. It's just not displayed properly. You can check where your coins are in the console, under the debug menu item by typing listaddressgroupings

Edit: Forgot to mention the coins need to be at least 12 hours old to stake or use in a masternode.

Oh Dang! Its in the old MN address which I have already deleted. Anyways to get them back?

I'm guessing you can use the sendfrom console command like:

Code:
sendfrom <fromaccount (deleted mn account name)> <toaddress (new mn address)> <amount>
ex:
sendfrom "MN-01" "1M72Sfpbz1BPpXFHz9m3CdqATR44Jvaydd" 5000

The only issue is I can't remember if you need to include the 0.000001 transaction fee in the amount i.e. 5000.000001 or just 5000. You can find the account names in the output of the listaddressgroupings Format is like this: [[ "address", balance, "account name"]],

Welcome. You're going to need to be more specific. What issues are you having? There's a tutorial on the first page and tons of help regarding windows master node setup in this already posted in this thread.

i have 222 CXT coins on cryptopia how can i exchange them in XCXT?

Swap ended a while ago. Trade them for btc, buy xcxt with said btc. Although I don't think you'll meet minimums transaction amount. So either buy more or give them away.

Hello guys,
The windows wallet works for you? I can't do nothing with this wallet. All time gets interrupted. Is that normal? Or is only at the beginning after download it? Please tell me what.
Works, but not good. With freezing and other strange bugs.

If you do not have a good CPU or if you are on a VPS that has smaller RAM and not so good CPU, then the wallet can freeze, in the beginning only. The wallet needs to go through OUTCOME of all the mined blocks and so it needs good CPU at the synchronization stage. After this the wallet will not freeze much at all.

As discussed about a week ago in this thread, ( https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2147025.msg21738042#msg21738042 )at least some of use are also experiencing an issue with the windows wallet where every 30 seconds the wallet locks up for 3-6 seconds then releases. Trying to interact with the wallet during this time gives the (not-responding) dialog. It looks like it has something to do with reading and writing files in %appdata%\CoinonatX\txleveldb Resource monitor shows coinonatx.exe uses 25% CPU and about 30mb/s disk I/O during the freeze. Mine is a windows 7 VM with 4 cores of an i7, 8gb ram, and an ssd drive. Other wallets in the VM run without issue. Disabling antivirus had no effect. This has been occuring since the first wallet download at least a month ago. I re-downloaded last week thinking there was a newer version of wallet but the version is the same and the issue remains. Thankfully, it's an annoyance that only affects the coinonatx wallet but it's certainly a problem when interacting with the wallet. Graph below clearly shows the intervals created by coinonatx-qt.exe

There is still an issue with mined transaction values showing up incorrectly. Mined transactions logged for the first time show the total transaction amount and not the reward amount in both the dashboard and the transaction list. Restarting the wallet retro-actively fixes the issue showing the proper reward amount but any new transactions continue to be logged incorrectly. Here's where discussion of this issue starts: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2147025.msg21760465#msg21760465

Also, the version shown in my wallet downloaded last week is v2.0.2.2: MN-Swap-Ready with a build date of Aug 5 2017, 14:20:41 which means dev hasn't updated it in over 6 weeks, since it's initial release I believe.

Sorry, just noticed debug log shows the wallet running so I'm assuming it compiled fine. Is ./coinonatxd -? working? Anyway, your conf is missing a port. A non-masternode wallet config should look something like this:

Code:
rpcallowip=127.0.0.1
rpcuser=<random username>
rpcpassword=<random pass>
rpcport=44578
daemon=1
server=1
listenonion=0
addnode=lindaminingpool.ddns.net
addnode=193.70.109.114

A masternode wallet conf should look like this:
Code:
rpcallowip=127.0.0.1
rpcuser=<random username>
rpcpassword=<random pass>
staking=0
server=1
listen=1
port=<mn port>

The pre-compiled wallet for download here is only for ubuntu. If you're using debian you'll have to compile it yourself. Did you compile it yourself without errors?

Why do some of the masternodes that are listed on the coinonatx masternode network keep showing 00ms:00s ? This is my problem at the moment. Got some coins coming through, but there's something not right?

Reading your posts it seems you may have some confusion regarding staking vs masternode. Both will earn you coins but they are mutually exclusive, meaning a staking wallet cannot be a masternode and a masternode cannot stake. If you didn't setup the coinonatx.conf file correctly to run the masternode you're wallet is probably staking even if you've created and started a masternode in the wallet GUI. It simply gets ignored. If you see the little up arrow icon between the lock and the connection bars then you are not running a masternode, you are staking. If you're masternode is running properly then you shouldn't have an up arrow icon at all. Like so:

Thanks kydub, that one did have a broken config but the other non-working masternode was correct.

I've turned off staking using

Code:
staking=0
reservebalance=5000

and the masternode now shows
Code:
./coinonatxd getstakinginfo
{
    "enabled" : false,
    "staking" : false,
    "errors" : "",
    "currentblocksize" : 0,
    "currentblocktx" : 0,

    "weight" : 250329408570,
    "netstakeweight" : 223617043699649,
    "expectedtime" : 0
}

But I'm still seeing repeated

Code:
CActiveMasternode::ManageStatus() - Checking inbound connection to 'x.x.x.x:44678'
CActiveMasternode::GetMasterNodeVin - Could not locate specified vin from possible list
CActiveMasternode::ManageStatus() - Could not find suitable coins!

CDarkSendPool::UpdateState() == 3 | 3
connect() to 80.92.226.17:44678 failed after select(): Network is unreachable

in both nodes so was wondering if there was a problem in the XCXT network.

Thanks

I don't think you need to include reservebalance in the conf. Did you use listaddressgroupings to check the address balances to ensure 5000 xcxt are in the mn address? I received a reward 1 minute ago so I doubt it's the network. Is it possible your wallet is locked? How are you starting your masternode? So it unlocks it should be
Code:
masternode start <wallet password>

I did manage to find a similar issue and solution for dash. Here it is adapted to coinonatxd

Quote
Problem:
You have masternode in list but coinonatxd masternode debug gives you Could not find suitable coins!. Few hours later you node drops out of list.

Explanation:
This means that your node was not activated actually. On a successfully activated remote masternode coinonatxd masternode debug should return Masternode successfully started. One reason why your masternode wasn't activated could be that new activation message can't reach your masternode from your local wallet because somewhere on its route there are only v11 masternodes and they just ignore new messages.

Fix:
To fix this you need to connect to your node directly and there are few ways to do this:

Simple one, temporary: open console in local wallet and type
Code:
addnode <mn IP address>:<mn port> onetry
- this will force your client to open direct connection to your MN.

if #1 didn't work for some reason or you want to force your wallet to connect to your MNs every time you run it use the connect arugment when starting the wallet like so:
Code:
./coinonatxd -connect=<mn IP address>:<mn port>
or add
Code:
connect=<mn IP address>:<mn port>
in coinonatx.conf. You can add it multiple times if you have many masternodes. Note: this way your client will connect only to specified IPs.

Hi Kydub, I'm a little confused as why you've put my handle in your comments? I'm not part of the support team, I'm just here to get help on setting up my MN. There are times that I have seen someone post something and I've tried to comment to help. Sometimes I post something and then find that I need to format, spell check or alter something. If I've posted something it's to help and I think those that look at my comments will see this.

There's a huge amount of strange stuff in the crypto world; I'm being kind here. There's a lot of selectivity when it comes to answering people across the board, let alone how they answer also. I'm not sure if the people that created the prior coin are scammers or not. I've already bought a good amount of Coinonatx prior to having a better look at the history behind this coin. What to do, when I've already lost a lot of money in the whole crypto market. Huge amount of time spent and my health has suffered from this, but I think I've worked out a plan, as of last night, to turn things around. Inclusive of this plan, I'm hoping that this coin and its developers will turn this coin into a success also.

I would say that if you look at a hit song that makes millions, the reason it does this is that it adds value. Millions of people at there hum drum jobs doing work that they don't like. When they hear a song on the radio that makes them happy, they are favorable to buying this song, supporting this, even going to the concerts, buying t-shirts etc i.e. You create something that adds value to this world and you are blessed by it. This is what I would say to the people behind the creation of this coin. Look to bless people with your work, make people happy and you will be rewarded many times over; you'll also be able to live with yourself, sleep better and have good dharma in this life and thereafter. I watched a guy on youtube go through the process of creating as many coins as he liked i.e. just a number imputed to the software field, he then went through showing how to post this on an exchange i.e. poof coins out of thin air. Not sure if I'm totally right on this. I'm just saying here that if there are people from the old coin that feel unhappy, I would bend over backwards to giving them the swap on the new coin and make them happy; this will also foster support for the new coin and make more money in the long run. You'll also feel better about yourself and create good dharma for your spirit. It's not about who has the most toys at the end, it's about eternal values and success in creating a spirit of gold.

At this stage, I can't afford a MN with any other coin and I'm hoping on this coin. I know in the first week that I staked a coinonatx Mn I got 100 coins; not sure if I'd get that with any other coin. The recent thing is to try and run more MN's. I just hope that the crypto market and this coin continues for me to see at least me getting the money back that I've lost and hopefully to see profits at some stage. So far the support team on bitcointalk fairly decent in helping me. I've still got more questions.

@ted_nugent I only mentioned you because at least twice I've received an email notification with a post from you and when I followed the link to reply the post was no longer on this board. I just assumed you changed your mind and deleted them. It was meant only to illustrate that even deleted posts end up in my inbox. I meant no offense.

I'm in the same boat as you. The choice was to either abandon ship and cut my losses or continue on with hope that I'd at least recoup my investment, even if this turned out to be a scam. I, and many others, share your sentiment regarding the swap. Why the devs don't make an effort to properly accommodate the very people that believed in them and are making them money is beyond me. The lack of transparency, responsiveness, and respect on devs part is beyond me. The devs apparent inability to follow through with their many promises and lack of concern is beyond me. I can only assume that when the shit hits the fan all will become clear in retrospect. So here we sit in the precarious position of desiring devs success while also being overwhelmingly frustrated with the path they've led us on. So devs, please get your shit together, treat your investors with some respect, and make this coin successful for the sake of all of us.

Hi,

I'd already received 7 or 8 coins on each masternode which I believe were confirmed. It's been in this status for over 24 hours now.

Code:
$ ./CoinonatX/src/coinonatxd masternode list-conf
{
}

Code:
more .CoinonatX/masternode.conf
mn1 xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:44678 526c1a###########################fb3f238 526c1###############################b3f238 1

Tried removing peers.dat and adding known good nodes to the .conf

Getting lots of connection refused and recv error 104:

I haven't run an XCXT node using masternode.conf but I would expect different values for the masternode private key and collateral output transaction id. What you posted shows the same value twice. And neither seem to be the length I would expect for a private key or transaction id. So I'm not sure what they are. Also, try
Code:
listaddressgroupings
to check the mn address still has at least 5000 XCXT. Someone else recently had a problem with coins dropping out because staking was still enabled. You can check with
Code:
getstakinginfo

darksend.cpp:978:29: error: cannot convert ‘bool’ to ‘bool*’ in initialization      bool* pfMissingInputs = false;

This happened in several locations I made the following changes to the code to make the compiler happy and accomplish the same thing.

        bool pfMissingInputs;
        if(!AcceptableInputs(mempool, tx, false, &pfMissingInputs)){

Since the variable is used only locally withing the scope of the current function, it should be ok to allocate the variable on the stack and then pass its address into the
AcceptableInputs function. Within the function the value is set to false in the event that its not already done.

Thank you. That is correct. It's a bug carried over from the original code by the The Darkcoin developers. For some reason older compilers allowed it, but newer compilers don't. FYI if anyone is wondering darksend.cpp:978 is a reference to line 978 in src/darksend.cpp

Additionally, has anyone done a step by step on setting up the masternode in Linux?
Answer appears to be no. I just finished setting up one for another coin so I will create
the step by step and post it here as soon as its done

My apologies, I didn't make the video and was not aware it was removed. Linux masternode setup should go something like this:

First setup your VPS and compile the wallet. Start the wallet daemon.
Code:
./coinonatxd

After your wallet is synced, generate a new masternode private key and copy it somewhere for later.
Code:
./coinonatxd masternode genkey

Create a new receiving address for the masternode and copy it somewhere for later.
Code:
./coinonatxd getaccountaddress <new masternode alias ie 'MN-01'>

Send exactly 5000 XCXT to the masternode address you just generated, either from another wallet or from an address inside the masternode wallet like so:

First, list addresses, balances, and account names in the wallet
Code:
./coinonatxd listaddressgroupings

Locate the address to send from, balance, and account name. The format shown is [<address>,<balance>,<account name>]

Send 5000 XCXT to the masternode address you generated above. If there is no account name for the address you want to send from (the default address) use empty quotes "" for <fromaccount> Note: I don't recall if you need to include the 0.000001 fee or not i.e 5000.000001. Can someone please verify? Thanks
Code:
./coinonatxd sendfrom <fromaccount> <masternode address> 5000

Wait a few minutes for confirmations. Check the coins were received.
Code:
./coinonatxd getreceivedbyaddress <mn address from above>
or
./coinonatxd getbalance <mn alias from above>

Encrypt the wallet if you haven't already.
Code:
./coinonatxd encryptwallet <long password>

Edit coinonat.conf, change to the proper directory first if you're not already in it.
Code:
sudo nano coinonatx.conf

The conf file should look like this:
Code:
rpcallowip=127.0.0.1
rpcuser=<randomstring>
rpcpassword=<long random string not the same as your wallet password>
staking=0
server=1
listen=1
port=<unused port of your choice>
masternode=1
masternodeaddr=<vps public ip address>:<same port you chose above>
masternodeprivkey=<private key you generated above>
The port you choose must be open in the firewall.

Restart the wallet
Code:
./coinonatxd stop
then
./coinonatxd

Unlock the wallet for staking only. See edit below.
Code:
./coinonatxd walletpassphrase <passphrase> stakingonly

EDIT: I forgot walletpassphrase requires a timeout argument in seconds like 'walletpassphrase <passphrase> <timeout> stakingonly' Unless you'd like to use a large number it's probably better to add the password to the end of the command that starts the masternode as I have added below.

Start the masternode.
Code:
./coinonatxd masternode start <wallet password>
or to start a specific masternode
./coinonatxd masternode start-<mn alias from above> <wallet password>

Let me know if I need to make corrections. Thanks.

SCAM COIN !!! BEWARE ALL.
I asked for help on this thread and inboxed support to help me setup a MN Becuase it kept hitting errors and they deleted my post and never replied to me. I can post proof if need be. Like wtf I'm trying to help maintain the network. The dev and support obviously don't care about the network or coin.Not cool

With notifications enabled here I get emails anytime a post is made including the post text, even posts that are subsequently deleted ( looking at you Ted_Nugent Wink ). Looking through my emails I see all of those posts are still here. And of course dev doesn't respond to private messages for help. Support is specifically what this thread and the slack channel are here for. While the verdict is still out regarding whether this coin is a scam or not, allegedly deleting your post and failing to respond to private messages for MN support aren't particularly indicative of a scam, just lacking public relations.

Repost your issue here or perhaps try joining the slack channel: https://join.slack.com/t/coinonatxproject/shared_invite/MjI5MDUyNDgxMjUwLTE1MDMyMTY5NzMtM2FkMzdmYjY1Mg

A word of caution to everyone on slack, be very careful who you give access and credentials to. I'm aware of several occasions with other coins where people trusted what turned out to be a fake dev or support member to help them setup MN and have been robbed. Be extremely cautious of people offering to help you remotely. Never give anyone your wallet passwords!

Hello,

what about the reward of 60% when we swap from from CXT to XCXT ?
because it's been 1 month already and i didn't receive the first part of 20%
anyone else?

Several other people have asked this same thing in this thread, the old XCXT thread, the CXT thread, and the old CXT thread. A week ago Visale said dev would address the repayment plan. But nothing has been officially addressed and no payments appear to have been made as of yet.

How may devs are there?
How many coins to run a masternode?  found answer 5000  Shocked
Where can I check how many masternodes are already up and running?

Love the project and am looking to put some hash toward it and possibly buy some. I wish the trading volume was up a little bit.

Could you guys make a turtorial on youtube, explaning VPS, masternode, and ways to do it (windows- linux-USB)? iHow to set up a masternode, profit and security. Thanks a lot

There's a windows masternode guide on the first page of this thread. Mac is basically the same, you just need to find the coinonatx.conf file. At this point I feel like setting up a mn in windows and mac has been beat to death. With linux it seems most of the issues arise with compiling the wallet which requires a bit more knowledge. There's a lot of information about linux in this thread and at the end of the old thread. Here's a video tutorial for ubuntu vps: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2068761.msg21351660#msg21351660

You'll get support for setting up a wallet and configuring a masternode here. But things like 'explaining a VPS, profit, and security' are probably beyond the scope of anything you'll find here. I suggest you google setting up and securing a VPS. Then come back here if you have issues specific to the wallet or masternode setup. If you're just learning what VPS is and how to set it up I recommend using the windows wallet if possible as it will be, by far, the simplest setup. If you don't know linux I expect you'll waste hours of your life getting it all setup, which you may or may not want to do.
