1  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin City - Blueseed on: May 08, 2013, 10:42:04 PM
Great to see the interest in a floating community with a strong Bitcoin focus.

I'm the co-founder and CTO of Blueseed, the first commercial seasteading venture, and I'll be speaking at Bitcoin2013. I'm very interested in the topics that the community would like to be discussed during the talk, and I've started a thread to get your feedback.

Looking over that site, it would be a "cheaper" way to accomplish something like this... (start up cost listed in their FAQ around 27million USD)... Compared to starting from nothing on a island somewhere...

lol! Lots of noobs today, I wonder if this counts as advertising for the mods but I use http://www.synwebhost.com/.

Thanks will look into it Smiley

ur offline computer

Uhhh... Yea, not exactly feasible for me.

www.HostArmor.com just started accepting Bitcoins the other day and even posted an info video on the homepage!  Grin

Edit: Oops, I noticed your "dedicated solutions" comment. I remember them mentioning they don't allow for Bitcoin payments with dedicated servers in a knowledgebase article. Their shared hosting is good and accepts Bitcoins though!

Looks good, will possibly use them for another site Wink

I used bitmerch.com on a small website to create payment buttons and it was painless and quick. Depends upon your needs if it would suit you.

Huh? I mean web hosting. Tongue
