1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: What other sites do you use besides CoinMarketCap for trade volumes? on: July 19, 2018, 03:09:18 PM
I only use a single website as a coinmarket for updating prices. Since I find it the most complete and easy to use in all sites.
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will bank and crypto industry unite or be linked? on: July 19, 2018, 09:08:31 AM
Crypto is defined as hierarchical. Hide identity. And the bank is always transparent and clearly controlled so I think there will never be a bank and crypto linked together. Absolutely impossible.
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you truly believe in cryptocurrency on: July 19, 2018, 08:20:42 AM
Cryptocurrency is a very reliable place. Many experts in the world think that bitcoin and cryptocurryncy will grow strongly and change the future. I also believe so. In the future Cryptocurrency will grow very strong
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: How to find a good bounty campaign? on: July 19, 2018, 07:59:00 AM
Can not know which bounty is good. It is best to join a campaign from the famous managers here, It will be easier to get a better campaign
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Can BTC reach 12$K? And how about the altcoins? on: July 19, 2018, 07:37:41 AM
12k USD . It could happen by the end of 2018. And altcoin will rise slightly with Bitcoin. But it is not really sure. Today there are some bad news from the FED. Hoping the market will not fall due to this news
6  Other / Off-topic / Re: I have restricted from liking, post and comments in my facebook on: July 18, 2018, 01:03:31 PM
That means you have posted or liked too much content in a short time. facebook's policy is very strict. You need to be careful in using facebook to join the bounty. Usually you will be blocked from 24 hours to 1 month
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Where should we store ETH safely? on: July 18, 2018, 12:45:45 PM
Myetherwallet is good and easy to use. If you keep your PC clean and safe from viruses. Everything is safe. And you can also use a hard wallet to store your ETH absolutely safe
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: There are too many new Token, new project on: July 18, 2018, 12:00:04 PM
Just like me There are too many projects and ICOs appear every day, That makes me lazy in reading each project. So there are so many good projects that I have missed it. From late 2017 to now. Maybe I missed more than 10 good projects.
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How is Bitcoin Current ??? on: July 18, 2018, 11:42:22 AM
Bitcoin has now gone up steadily. In the meantime, we will not have to wait for bitcoin to fall below 7000$. If this week ends. bitcoin is still 7500$ then the next week we will see the bitcoin price of 8000-9000$
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Swarm Fund 2.0 - Cooperative Ownership Platform for Real Assets on: June 06, 2018, 06:13:38 AM
So now that there five funds, anyone went trough all of them? For example I still don't understand pros and cons for each funds and I don't have money to invest in all five Cheesy
That is a good point you are bringing mandibleclaw. That is why we plan to implement a feature where you set your risk profile, how much you would like to invest and how much diversity you would like and based on that, a couple of investment packages will be offered to you. Once we implement AI you could even enable a bot to make that decision for you.

Another option is to follow investors that have a good track record and shadow invest with them.

In the meantime you can learn about all the opportunities here https://invest.swarm.fund/explore
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Swarm Fund 2.0 - Cooperative Ownership Platform for Real Assets on: May 24, 2018, 06:18:21 PM
We have always considered and designed SWM to be a utility token, and have written a number of posts about that. It's utility can be demonstrated in that it:
* Is used to pay for GAS when investing
* Grants token holders voting rights in the platform
* Can be earned for participating in voting and other actions on the platform
* Incentivizes 3rd party services like legal, tax, accounting, etc...
See here for more details: https://medium.com/swarmfund/swm-574d25800d8c

Ye you already wrote it many times, SWM is the fuel of the platform and give you voting rights, but funds' tokens need to be considered securities, am I right? (maybe not all, I don't know)

People expect some sort of dividend from security tokens. SWM tokens don't come with a promise of any returns. It has use on it's network. Like you mentioned before, gas, governance, possibly for running a masternode and also for funding security token projects.

I do not see nothing promising in the project was a long time in the company's bounty, and since then the reward is a dead weight, no listings on stock exchanges and good price for those that have a terrible and trading volume just ridiculous

It is truly sad to read such comments knowing all the progress that has been done in the last few months. If you go to the platform you will see loads of development in the product side. We have 3 opportunities live, another awesome opportunity coming in this week (https://techcrunch.com/2018/05/11/sparklabs-security-token/). A lot of updates on the Swarm application, liquid democracy module, types of nodes, adding support for more ERC20 tokens over 20K users registered in the platform... just to name a few. Swarm is here for the long run and not just for a fast pump and dump. If SWM tokens are too heavy on your virtual pocket, feel free to sell the dead weight to others who want to participate and collaborate in the future of democratized finance.

I like the idea of your project. But I'm curious what benefit the blockchain would have for a project like this?
One thing that is very important about the project is understanding that Swarm token holders are the actual de facto owners of the Swarm blockchain. They are the ones who will decide on the parameters of the system, fees, investment opportunities that will come into the platform, assets that will be supported and much much more. The benefits of blockchain for creating a fully decentralized network where the participants are the actual stake holders are enormous, not to mention the necessity for transparency in the voting module that has been implemented where all these decisions will take place.
I can understand it is hard to grasp this at first, specially because Swarm is so similar to any web app at first glance. It is only when you start to learn how the network operates that you begin to appreciate the design choices that were made and why being on the blockchain is imperative to the goals of the project.

It seems that  the price is pretty stable after airdrop, do you know how many SWM were airdopped in total? (iirc 4000 max per address)
About stability, it's because the lack of liquidity or because people are just holding?

I'm not sure about the numbers exactly but it is true that there has been no dumping. I think people know that SWM tokens are quite undervalued at the moment and will not dump for peanuts. Users who have received a lot of tokens are already heavily invested in the platform and users who got 10 SWM because of KYC can't really take them out of the platform because of the 20 SWM minimum. For the latter case it is probably best to just invest in the new VSJ IO in the platform or just hold and wait to see what happens. At least this is what I would do.

Nice! I noticed that I received my SWM and I also noticed that they added the San Juan fund. People only invested around 160$ till now, since it's priced in usd basically, if eth or swm go into a massive bullrun I'll invest for sure. Now seems pointless to invest especially with swm which is so undervalued right now

Got my airdropped SWM as well. Now is just time to see how the whole project unfold, hopefully by the end of the year it will start to get some traction  Smiley
How do you participate in airdrop, I am holding a little SWM tokens and it's still in my MEW wallet.
Please can you give me some information to avail on the airdrop as well?

You are a bit late for that, we have been announcing this airdrop since March, it's a pity you missed the airdrop but the good news is that you can now invest your SWM in the platform. In order to get the most out of the platform make sure to:
1) Sign up at https://invest.swarm.fund/sign-up.
2) Complete your KYC and receive 10 SWM for doing so.
3) Go to "invest" in the platform and check out the new Viejo San Juan Comunidad RE Fund. If you like the opportunity make sure to invest in it.
4) Go to "Discuss" (https://discuss.swarm.fund/) and introduce yourself to the community.
5) Join us on Telegram (http://swm.by/Telegram) to communicate with the team directly
6) Sign up for the newsletter (https://swm.by/Newsletters)

See you in Telegram:)

Version 0.8 is coming off the press in the next week or so. After that we will be totally focused on product and we plan to release early and often. We also have more than 30 IO's in the pipeline and people constantly contacting us to become Syndicate Managers. Pretty soon we will streamline the whole Syndicate Manager application process and then we should see a massive intake of applicants and new potential IO's. With that being said I think Swarm will gain some traction way before the end of the year.

Hi, don't forget that even if you invest now the USD value of your investment will actually fluctuate with the rate of SWM to USD. So if you invest 10 SWM today and tomorrow they are valued at $2 dollars, your investment will actually be $20 bucks. Same thing if it will go down. We will soon have a feature where you will be able to lock the SWM at a specific rate. But can't talk too much about this just yet:)
