Guys, Demion version is working as advertised by him - very good soft, no problems.

However it works only with claymore 10.0 - in newer version claymore have made some detection, so basically you still get shares from devfee, but mining is slower as with -nofee option..

So use ver. 10.0 and Demion soft - and you will be fine.

Gettin 28.9 - 29.4 depending on mem clocks in dual mode with LBC.

Otherwise - use 1750 straps and abt 2050 mem clock. 0.9V undervolt is fine with these cards.

So far i see claymore is only improving his devfee and protection against it. There is no point to go 10.1 - no any improvements - only quick fixes to kill nodevfee programs so far)

However i dont understand how mining time is calculated - how you check which miner is mining for 2 days and more - based on miner eth address?

I am ok with giving some shares to claymore for development - but i dont like the way he made it.

IT is ok for me to mine like 2-4 hours, even one day for him to pay his software and use it then without fees..

But it is not ok to have constant 1-2% fee. Include all other greedy guys in exchanges/transfers/pools/whatever - and after all calculated fee you take is like 10% of your income..

Ok, unpacking GZIP inside the exe file and doing some unknown things s kinda tricky.

From the first glance it seems that program is ok, but who knows. Maybe it patches claymore fee to your wallet, but also it can forward some portion of your own shares to another wallet as another fee for patcher - i wouldnt be a big surprise.

And then you can not say is it just a random spike/slide of current effective rate of your worker or it is "patch" working)

I dont have proper qualification to check except for basic diassembly until i see some unpacking of GZIP into unknown shit)

Last week i am having pretty much fun with one card of Gigabyte RX 580 gaming G1 4gb - it is just simply impossible to mine on it - it is making all kind of errors like OPENCL failure and stuff..

So today i have decided to disassemble the card and guess what i have found?

On the card which is like 3-4 months in use we are having^

-stone thermal inferface which is becoming dust upon removal.

- ALL thermal pads started oiling and shitted all card with oily stains.

Sorry no photo made - forgot when assembled back after cleaning and replacing all thermal interfaces.

Be careful with you cards - check the plates near memory chips for oil traces - if you find some - just give this shit back where you bought it...

Claymore miner was not the problem - it was shitty Gigabyte thermal interfaces. Never buy Gigabyte.

Same story here - just use afterburner for NVIDIA and Claymore for AMD

For those who experience OPENCL hang - guys, i recommend you to try lowering you cards temps. However this is kinda tricky with some cards. I will explain below

For my Gigabyte rx580 g1 4gb i experienced same problems - no overclocking at startup sometimes (also - try to delete afterburner profiles for this cards and apply overclocking via Claymore) and after 4-8 hrs mining - opencl error, claymore restart or system hang - especially day time when it gets warmer - so all hangups i got at day time.

The thing is - the card was undervolted and overclocked - no HWinfo errors or something, doing 29.5 mhs ETH and 64 LBC in dual mode, but still this error with opencl.
Then i checked the average temp during mining - it was about 73-75 degrees which is pretty high as i assumed. I have installed the 120-120 fan for additional cooling - but the RX580 series uses some smartass cooler management - so basically the card just lowered down it's fans RPM, keeping the same temp - about 73 degrees.

After some research - i have decided to go risky way and modify BIOS as no other means of controlling fan-temps  worked for me - even claymore temperature control was causing system hangs.

I have used SRBPOLARIS editor to make changes to GPU "Target temperature" settings - i have put 68 degrees here and flashed card. (No other fan settings affected the fan behavior)

After that, the card works perfectly fine for more than 72 hrs .

I think the card was heating up way too much due to Gigabyte ineffective cooling and stock fan settings  - especially memory chips, what caused driver reboot and overclocking reset.

It seems 7.1 version is not working with latest claymore ver. 9.8. It doesnt even say "ethereum mining detected" or something..
