NOTE TO MYSELF: Read about project and team before you invest in the particular token.

I guess this one is heading up. https://coinmarketcap.com/assets/mysterium/historical-data/

The decentralized VPN is possible so is internet itself physically decentralized, no need to trust any ISP. RIP all ISP's if someone makes it a reality.
Imagine a world where all you need to do is buy a modem-like hardware with open source firmware based on cryptocurrency technologies like blockchain and ethereum that will automatically assign you unique btc-like address instead of ip address upon connecting it to fiber socket coming to your home/office distributed by fiber cable companies in p2p topology and you are online forever. No caps, no censorship, no upload download limits, no paying bills to anyone to use the internet, all you will need to do is buy modem-like hardware from local store or fiber cable companies and connect it to the decentralized internet via fiber optic cable.
3  Economy / Trading Discussion / BTC Liquidity on: September 12, 2017, 06:44:28 AM
   Hi BTC fans

As it stands today on CMC the Bitcoin market cap is   $71,019,741,445 and 1BTC is   $4288.69   when total 16,559,775 BTC mined. Assume that market cap is calculated by 16,559,775 BTC mined multiplied by 1 BTC price $4288.69. Now lets assume scenario where there is more sellers than buyers on market so at 3500$ we get the equilibrium between sellers and buyers. The market cap would be somewhere at 57,000,000,000. What intrigue me that marketcap doesnt show how liquid the market actually is? How could someone say how deep is liquidity and how many coins should be dropped in order to dry the cash out of BTC? What effect would  made 250 000 BTC sold at once? Can someone predict the price of massive dump of BTC. Would 250 000 BTC coins sold on market at once push the price to 5$/BTC? Is this possible?
4  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Lost around 5BTC in 2013... Time to start again on: September 09, 2017, 12:51:41 PM
hehehe....i believe you specaulating you lost 20000$ worth BTC but thats not completely truth because back there that was just around 1000$ which equal 0.25BTC today. What if BTC today wouldnt be wort a penny would you care that you lost 5BTC in 2013? So leave the regrets behind and jump on BTC rocket! You might will have 20 x fold in value by 2021!

So back in 2012 / 2013 I was quite involved with the Crypto scene, and invested in a mining rig (good old days!) After around a year or so, I managed to mine LTC, trade BTC etc and had somewhere in the region of 5BTC. As the prices all started to plummet, I turned the rig to a desktop computer and stupidly left all of my coins in Cryptsy. Easily done for someone who understood the basic fundamentals of the Crypto world, but not all of the security to go with it.

I managed to recover about 0.2BTC from old wallets etc, and although kicking myself that I could have a life changing amount of money, I've come to a conclusion that I just need to build a bridge and start again!

My question to you all is have you ever experienced anything like this? How did you find the motivation to start again? And what do you think are the best ways nowadays (as i'm 4 years out of touch) at getting back to that milestone of 1BTC in my wallet?

Thanks,

Have you lost some coins or only block error you got?

Someone posted information about a POS coin that sounded very good and it was hard for me to track down the wallet or information.  It doesn't have an announcement here.  A saw a lot of posts about it on another crypto site, and bounties given to addresses that were being posted in the thread.  It was one of the bigger other sites so I trusted that it was real.  I installed the wallet and bought some of the coins and after that I got a block index error which I posted below on several of my wallets.  The only one that didn't seem affected was 808 coin.  I read that to resolve this, just delete everything but the wallet.dat and restart the wallet and that seems to be working (it was a secondary computer that didn't have a lot of valuable coins on it).

But, I'm wondering, if this could have come from the wallet?  The wallet/coin is Koi coin.   I titled this as "possible" because I don't know.  I'm new to POS wallets and I wanted to learn more about them and as any tech knows, the way to learn is to solve a problem, often your own.
