1  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Black Arrow 28nm 100Ghash Bitcoin ASIC from $0.49/GH/s on: August 31, 2015, 08:54:38 AM
Well, this is something new. The HK police replied me with the following:

The director of 'Black Arrow Ltd' is located for enquiry. After
enquiry, he is willing to deliver the product to you but refuse to refund.
If you accept to receive the product, you could contact the company by
email directly or inform to the director to contact you by me.

They are being sued in UK, this I know, and they will be losing this game now I think

where can I find information about the UK sue?
thanks
Where did that quote from OgNasty comes from? I didn't see that line in his current post.

By the way, is it just me or the blackarrowsoftware.com site is unreachable?

Not sure if it's just me but the last payment I received was in September. SSB, may I check with you if there's been any issue with the miner(s)?

I agree with what you're saying here.  Also, having it hosted means that you don't need to deal with the noise and heat from the unit.  An estimate seems to show that by the end of the 6 months, the unit will be pulling in roughly 0.16 BTC/day.

0,16 a day in july sounds high? Thought it would be much less than that

Edit:

I guess this might be interested to some since it's been discussed in the thread. Got my order processed now.

Quote
Your order status has been changed to Processed and it was placed in shipping queue since 18th of December when we have received your payment into our account.

So they had my money for 7 days before they found the time to inform me about it. They also go after time they receive the money and not when you order so for those who want to be higher up on the que should use BTC as payment. Kinda shitty if you ask me..

All in all in happy it's been processed now at least

Sorry for the late reply as I wasn't around for the past few days. I got my order processed on the 25th itself (a very relieved Christmas for me). However, looking at your post, it appears that they included some information that wasn't in my email, particularly the shipping queue information.  Huh

Bobsag3 is it possible for you to see if payments have gone through to BA even though its not your site? I sent a wire 14th december and it still says waiting for payment. I'm getting a little worried that i sent to wrong place. BA's support seem to ignore emails unfortunately.
Haha... we're pretty much in the same spot. As per bob, just gotta be patience. Good luck to you nonetheless. Smiley

March 10th 2014 is a new batch 1 date or its batch 2?
Just to clarify.  Is round 1 batch 1 still projected for February 24, 2014 shipping?

Absolutely.
I'm sorry but I'm a little bit confused to be honest.

So at this point in time, the official shipping date still remains at February 24, 2014. However, we should expect for the product to no sooner than March 10, 2014. Am I reading this right?
7  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Black Arrow announces 28nm 100Ghash Bitcoin ASIC from $1.49/Ghash on: December 21, 2013, 04:33:55 AM
Did i read this correctly on the website, If i place an order today it will take almost a year (10/3/2014) to receive a working product? If that is the case, that would be one hell of a scary purchase. i dont even want to begin to do the math on what the difficulty will be a year from now. 100 GH/s will be the equivalent of a 333MH/s usb today by that time. Can someone confirm that is in fact the case, the 10/3/14 availability date as listed here ( http://www.blackarrowsoftware.com/store/prospero-x-1.html )
It's 10th of March, 2014. Smiley

Hey Bob, I wired money on Monday and nothing has changed to paid on my account yet, I understand that this is a manual process, but when can we expect updates for wire transfers?
I have over 20 wires still "pending", I update wires twice a day, ones that clear in the morning and ones that clear before I go to sleep.
Let me know if your order has not cleared by tomorrow.

Ok will do, thanks for being vigilant.
Bob, are you able to check for status of payment that was made to BAS?

I wired my payment over on the 16th this month & the status still showing as "Processing payment". Should I be concerned?

My Wire transfer payment took 7 business days to fully process. When it did my order was changed to Processed. I would not worry since you are still within the time frame. It can takeupto 10 days from what they told me when I opened a ticket with Black Arrow.

Thanks for the assuring reply. I'll keep a look out on the order status in 10 business days from the wire transfer date then. Smiley

I can check the status of tickets etc, but not payments :/
Ahh... noted with thanks. Appreciate your prompt response. Smiley

Finally managed to get the payment sorted. Funny how a HSBC to HSBC wire transfer requires so much time & process. Sad

How long do I have to wait for the status to change before I send Matt a PM?

Hi Matt,

what about pending orders?  is BAS going to honor the pending orders that have tickets dating over 7 days ago?
It's not fault of customer if you don't have man power to reply to tickets or emails.  Is it?

What if shipments are delayed some lengthy time, will BAS give refund to whom wanted it?
I don't mean 1, 2 or 3 weeks delayed, but what if they were 1, 2 or 3 months delayed, would BAS be prepared to refund customers?

OK, these are simple questions lets see if they get answered or ignored.

I am working with them right now for me to help with their tickets, so we can get the response time much faster. I have hired additional staff that start work here in a few weeks, and I know they are working hard to improve their systems.

I cant speak on the refunds unfortunately, I am still discussing the options with them.

Hi Matt,

I originally was directing the post to 'BlackArrow Matt' (thanks for answering anyway), but I have 2 orders placed with BAS orders #154x (24/11/13) and #168x (25/11/13) and would like to change from BTC payment to bank wire payment.  What would be the best method to contact BAS in regards to completing payment of my original 2 orders.  If it's through Skype, what is their Skype name?  Is it 'blackarrowsoftware'?
BTW, I have open tickets (over 7 days ago) and emailed them with no replies yet.

thanks,
merv77

That is there skype info.
I will take a look at your tickets and get them updated.
Bob, first of all, I would like to thank you for taking the initiative in helping BA with the support tickets & inquiries in this thread. Just a question here which should be pretty generic. I have 2 orders which are still unpaid; Order #1 (#247x) & Order #2 (#299x).

Order #2 was created due to the fact that I want to order 2 units of X-3 instead of 1 which was made in Order #1. Is there any way to amend Order #1 to reflect 2 units of X-3 instead? If I pay directly for Order #2 & ignore Order #1, it's not going to affect my chance of landing myself in batch 1, am I right?

We're still accepting orders for batch 1 so yes, we're going to honor pending orders from over 7 days ago. No, it's not the fault of the customer if we don't have man power to reply to tickets or emails.

I'll look into refund options in the event we're late. I don't want to speculate on what if's at this point.
Will BA be sending those of us with unpaid order a reminder email when batch 1 quota is almost filled up? I'm going to do a wire transfer this coming Monday (just got back home from overseas) & kinda worried if my order (#2999) is still in time for batch 1.
15  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Black Arrow announces 28nm 100Ghash Bitcoin ASIC from $1.49/Ghash on: December 13, 2013, 02:57:36 PM
Still waiting for confirmation if batch #1 has finally closed.

Not sure if it's just me but I find it kinda ironic that most of the ASIC developers that DID deliver have either bad PR or slow response time. It's like an omen; if they replied fast, pretty sure they're not doing anything with the ASIC hence they have lotsa time to scam around.

I sincerely hope that it's just me & my delusion.

It's been 24 hours & I've yet to receive the email from Black Arrow with the bitcoin address that I'm supposed to pay to. Since so many of you guys are paying via bitcoin, may I know roughly how long you guys waited?

EDIT: Speak of the devil. The email just came a few seconds after I submitted this post.

Hey guys, SSB PMd me, he is stuck at work and will send the shares when he gets back within 24h. Smiley
Thanks for the update!

BTW OP, how do we track the output of the miner per week?
I MAY try to use an API for the group to look up the hashrate using something like Bitcoinium on the android based cell phones. I use this for my miners at this time. This is not a promise to use this as I have not thought how to verify the hashrate. Obviously, over time, the payouts should with variance in the mining approach the 175GH/s rate calculated with the current difficulty to determine bitcoins mined. Hope this helps answer your question somewhat. My main concern at this time is to finish the group buy in time to purchase the miner in the seven day time frame given by KNCMiner. Thanks for the questions.
SSB, any idea if the API can be implemented? Smiley
