There is nothing like 'buy low/cheap, sell high/expensive' in crypto that is volatile in HUNDREDS of % within just 1 year. There are no reliable fundamental predictions, p/e ratios or quarterly earnings results for the coins, everything is (pardon that word) sorta in a bubble. What is down can be far lower.

I don't feel like buying anymore but don't sell a damn coin either. I'm in kinda bear-like hiatus to wait & see long-term with the stack I've got already, don't even trade among the coins if not necessary. Consider all investments to be lost to avoid over-thinking the shit.

Never joined a real presale but 2-3 times bought at first trading day on a first exchange: Cardano, OmiseGo and Bluzelle.

What I am a little bit mad about is not ignoring BTC/cryptos in the very start or not even for continuing to ignore BTC later when i did know the bloody thing. It is the fact I could have done more/better job finding low-capped coins like BNB during the time I was most crypto-active! Not to be smart/informed enough on time is always a letdown retrospectively.

If Buffett had been a crypto believer, he would have bought some stack of Waves right now. Have doubts when ppl are greedy and buy when others are fearful.

On the matter of Waves ppl are long-term very fearful and there's a number of investors that sucked on Waves. Not just the platform have to fight the overall bear market but also very strong competition, not very big ICO success and lame or weak self-promotion. On the other hand, the Waves blockchain/project is clearly no shite.

There is a number of cryptos where, lets say it polite way, promotion or lvl of shilling outshines the project qualities, like Tron, Verge or ETN... Waves seems to have the opposite problem.

If Waves promo continue to suck hard, we'll be happy to see ATH during this year. $100 is just super-speculative now.

Yes, I agree with you buying missed ICO trains at occassional dips, although I tend to be super-cautions by doing so as we are literally flooded with ICOs desperately wanting our BTC/Fiat. That stands for cumulating dipping Wanchain too... Along with Bluzelle, Gonetwork, Polymath or whatever looks viable and rational to invest in right now with a fair chance for future application.

Ad ADA: simply not enough to justify its overvalued rank/mcap leaving so many well established, more useful-known-popular coins (Xmr, Ltc, Neo, Dash to name a few) behind or around the same capitalization level. Never stated anywhere ADA to be a shitcoin just dared to mention it has some overprice symptoms, being pumped multiple times during Fall and Winter '17. Basically no one really uses ADA so far (for a high-ranked coin), the real application is too empty for a #7 coin to continue growing, sry. Btw, ain't FOMO'er but in fact small ADA hodler. I have even bought ADA very first day being traded on Bittrex as I have liked the team/project from the first moment even when hated here at Bctalk, although I sold that amount later on (with big % profit), so perhaps I have longer exp. with ADA than you man.

WAN may be a strong ICO but how many strong-momentum ICOs did we have in the last couple of months? With the fact WAN is now traded for roughly x10 ICO value, I dare to say it is very overpriced now, especially if you look on the whole marketcap situation and endless flood of ICOs rolling on us every week.

Never said these are bad long-term decisions but neither is underpriced now and I'd rather put the money into OMG, GAS or ICX now as the ones that did suffer badly during last couple of bloodbaths. Not mentioning that Waves are so much down for a heck of the time.

Opinion that LSK or DASH suddenly disappears is naive and I would quite like to hear an arguments to happen just so. If coins like that dies, it means we are all fucked, because that would mean the whole market went down. Such a coins may go down only if turns to be scammy and/or attacked/hacked an enormous way which the thread is not about.

If just one top 20 mcap coin 'dies' soon it would be a big suprise to me, just imagine some top 20 stock company to die all of the sudden. No, dying mostly happens at waters of low capped shitcoins, under the radar of normies.

Lisk is expected to have strong Feb due to rebrand Berlin event, might hit $30 today, been $40+ at ATH and should easily attack $50 any time soon, though maybe do not stick there constantly.

I hold some ETC too, speculatively, due to Callisto airdrop, not very well timed almost at ATH. Although I value reasons for ETC rise a little bit pathetic and silly when compared to LSK, we all know from the past people/prices may went a little bit funny when free money does lie right on the fucking pavement right?

Despite the fact I do like some others mentioned, like ICX, where I expect solid growth in the future, this coin is just too young & low capped to attack $50 soon unless something radical happens. I mean that coin barely left the ICO status and has lot of competition in there.

I hold solid stake of Lisk being 2nd in my pf, not far after XMR, followed by GAS, from $2 per coin with some $4-$6 additional purchases, with a 14 day pause when hiding money during one of those nasty BTC dumps (during which LSK tend to suck).

I mainly continued hodling LSK due to February all-in-one event, expect the pump very likely, and likely hodl LSK after the event (either half or full stake). Good thing they only change the crappy logo and not the actual name which I rate as great (one of the best, actually) and easy to remember, not only because "Lisk" means st. like "slap" in my native language, lol.

Btw LSK did have like two rally attempts during Dec-Jan but interrupted by another BTC dumps. Attacking $40 or more (ATH) during one of these bull market times rallies, I see no reason not to break ATH as the event is actually close now, but if BTC sucks, we'll see fucko!

First off, I rate all these numerous 'Ark is cheaper' opinions as BS as the money supply differs. You may make an estimations from current m'cap positions but don't forget Ark is messing around #50 spot like 1/2 of a year or more, rather loosing positions due to newborn promising VEN, ICX, Tron type projects (soon to be displaced by more, like QSP, ELF, Ethos...) than actually GOING UP, totally outta momentum!

Second, Ark is likely to have a paid shillers here at BCT or just old investing 'dinosaurs' keep shilling Ark for free hoping to catch some rook's (who barely buy an 'old' half-forgotten #50 ranked coins) attention, reasons:
- There is like 5 threads on page 1 today which pretty much contrasts with other soc platforms (FB, Reddit, Steem, Telegram, Twitter) where Ark gets zero to none attention when compared with currently "hot" projects (some mentioned above)
- There is a dumb fella with Ark logo in his avatar purely shilling Ark here no matter what the shot is

Long story shot, I've never invested in Ark, though I considered to do so; I invested in Lisk multiple times, and I just might to buy more as rebrand (18-02-20) is yet to come, announcing pretty much all news in one day in Berlin I think.

From this two coins, Lisk is just solid, credible and relatively safe-to-invest project, which is enough when compared to Ark.

Of course the price is about to fall, actual $9 is hardly realistic and would be a goldmine and big-balls-that-paid-off for the Nxt/Ignis snapshot holders (and future Nxt drop losers).

As guys counted everything below $2 per Ignis is a fail/letdown/wasted nerves for Ignis snapshot holders as selling NXT somewhere near ATH would likely bring better money (not mentioning free hands for other investitions, among other advantages)... Maybe folks that plan to hold Ignis really longterm may see it different way though.
