Useless top 25 Cryptos which will not be there in 2019

I think there is going to be a lot of movement in ranks, but I think most top 25 coins are going to be here come 2019.

Just a reminder that these top crypto are centralized. Which is suppose to be trustless.

Yes and they are in top 20 fro 3-4 years. It seems centralization helps. Mainyl help premine. Because less coins hit exchanges and those that does can be valued higher and then whole coin is valued higher.

This is a truly interesting topic! I am sure that about 30% of coins will not be out there and a third of those will be such that we'll be lost somewhere out of the top 50. My picks will be based on some previous top-25 lists to be able to see which coins are most likely staying in the top first. These are bitcoin, ethereum, litecoin, ripple, bitcoin cash, dash, monero, waves (is likely to get back into the top), neo, stellar, tether, iota, eos, cardano and nem. All other coins might suddenly get out of the top and be replaced by other new coins. According to these assumptions, 60% of the coins will be the same, whereas other 40% will move down.

SNGLS, BELA and MGO are weak hands by my opinion: these projects will disappear during this year or their capitalizations will become so small that they can not be taken into account...

i would give:
- etherium classic (is there really a need for it? => if they wood have an other name they would be not in top 100)
- bitcoin gold => same like ethereum classic
- zcash => i think there are tecnical better coins out in space

but i wanted focus on the coins which are getting more focus.
thats why i choose the "best" 25 coins from marketcap.

None of lets say top 20 mcap coins will 'vanish' in 2k19 for being too established and popular, one would say they might already won as being adopted early.

Not even all these sketchy BTC forks, loosing ETC or most hated ones (XRP, TRX).

Opinion that LSK or DASH suddenly disappears is naive and I would quite like to hear an arguments to happen just so. If coins like that dies, it means we are all fucked, because that would mean the whole market went down. Such a coins may go down only if turns to be scammy and/or attacked/hacked an enormous way which the thread is not about.

If just one top 20 mcap coin 'dies' soon it would be a big suprise to me, just imagine some top 20 stock company to die all of the sudden. No, dying mostly happens at waters of low capped shitcoins, under the radar of normies.

P.S. the shittiest high-capped coin IIRC fucked up already, it was called Bitconnect.

-Binance Coin (BNB) : This year will be the new competitors.

I would kinda sort of agree on Ethereum Classic and Bitcoin Gold (Ethereum Classic can do better somehow if Ethereum has issues)

I think the technology of making it a privacy coins has its benefit and advantage over other crypto, coins supply are okayish, just that the price hike up in the first few days during the mining distribution caused quite some issue there

Also, Bitcoin Cash will risk disappearing if Lighting Network will be successfully deployed and used for bitcoin

Ethereum classic will remain in top 25 list because someday ETHEREUM will activate POS, then miners should switch to other cryptocurrencies...ETC will be a good choice.

you have a point there,but until the time ethereum activated POS ethereum classic still must be thrown out of top 25 ,let some good coin climb up for better usage..then if POS activated we will see if etc still better for the position

Why do you include the ZEC? The developers got 20% of the mined coins to develop it.

I would say 95% of all ERC20 token will disappear until 2019. Everybody is creating an ERC20 token on the ethereum blockchain and airdrop it. They try to scam the people with donations. Half of the space on the ethereum blockchain is totally garbage tokens who nobody uses or need and have no value. So i think on the top of the list they will be just erc20 tokens instead of coins with own blockchain!

I think many of ethereum based tokens are selling people dreams like a joke. Many of them will remove from crypto world. Also i think
some of exchanges will close because people are looking for decentralized exchanges. Because of this exchanges will not use as now.
This will effect some coins like trx.

I think 90% of the ICOS are totally useless. Also many of the bitcoin forks such as bitcoin gold, bitcoin private, bitcoin white, .are useless in my eyes.

Binance is currently the largest exchange in the world, with a volune of approximately $1.7billion in the last 24 hours. Its coin has an actual use (it reduces trading fees by half, and is therefore very valuable to traders), which is more than can be said for a lot of other top coins.

Totally agree. And besides, the decentralized exchange from binance is announced, which blockchain will be based on BNB. So it will have even more utility and that's why I really doubt BNB will be among losers of 2018.

Absolutely. Binance shows what should be the exchange and now others try to follow it and copy it.
