https://coinmarketcap.com/All Coins are dropping heavily, including the bitcoin. Is there any reason why it keeps dropping for the last weeks?

Can someone explain why every coin is dropping that much in the last hours? I cant find any reason except "correction", but a price correction for every coin and that high?

I should be more specific i guess, im asking how the mining profitiablity will be in like 6-12 months, if i do 400€ now, how will it be in that timeframe? I already know its hard to tell how the difficulty scales but i would love to know in which range it will be then.

GPUs, i dont have to pay eletricity at the rate they are consuming currently so im stuck with the hardware also, upgrading isnt possible in the future also.

Im currently doing around 400€~ per month from monero mining which is perfectly fine for me, but how does it look in the future? I know its hard to predict it, but is there any way to get an estimate amount i would earn in 1 year with the same hashrate? 50% less or even more?

Also, it looks like the bitcoin is always dropping fridays / over the weekend?
If you are here for at least 6 months, you would have notice by now that the price specially during the end of the week is going down because traders cash out for reasons that they may need money for a weekend get away or spend their profit in other activities. Its a normal thing to see here. However, with this dip again, I'm seeing that those Chinese who have bitcoin on those local exchanges are somewhat trying to dump it but very slowly as to not cause panic once more. I speculate that this will continue up to the end of the month and early next month when all of them are completely shutdown. So better hold because once they are done and the price goes down again, if would be a perfect opportunity to stash more bitcoins. Im holding since 2014, but i never felt those drops this hard before and it keeps going down for some time now and i dont see any hope currently to get it back to 5k or even 4500? Another question, why do other currencys like XMR ETH etc also drop when the btc drops? |

news is actually filled with reasons about bitcoin price fall! all over the media they are attacking bitcoin and some are even spreading FUD. most of the articles even from big and well known names are poorly written by people who don't understand bitcoin or understand it well and want to damage it only. they create panic, or in other words Fear, Uncertainty and Doubt. and that is why price is dropping a little these days. p.s. your topic should be in speculation board. it looks like it is already moved  Well, except the regular bitcoin is bad news i dont find anything new or special. Wont be there another big price drop on the end of the month cause the chinese block btc then? |

Maybe people are anticipating the grand FUD from China and buy back. But then shorters could be fucked as well. Just hodl. We'll find out soon enough. Next month would be interesting.
Im holding and will until winter comes in, then i need to get a car  Wasnt there another bitcoin fork coming up with a split again? |

as i said in my thread which i opened minutes ago, this does happen daily like 3-4 times and then it drops back and then the price is even lower as before, i cant believe that a raise over 300€ in such a short time is legit and healthy...

I wont buy any coins or sell them now, im holding since 2014 about 15,6 of them and at any price im more as happy to made that decision so far, but i would love to know why as example it went so high right now and dropped 70€ in 4 mins again.

The price is going up like 200€ in 30 min, happens often and then it drops even harder like -400€, can someone explain to me why this happens? I always know when its going up fast within the next hour it drops even harder....
