In the business of factoring receivables, you are purchasing an asset (an invoice) at a discount.  The seller is discounting the value of something of slow liquidity in order to gain fast liquidity.  Just that simple.  A factoring company is not a bank.  A factoring company is not a credit union.

Regarding the fudders... (H)av(I)ng a (V)(E)ry hard time figuring out why they so desperately want to kill PPT.

... I too want to express my gratitude to all the fudders.  They've taken many Hours out of theIr busy fud day to do inVEstigative research on a coin they have no investment in... and for no reason other than to watch out for their fellow man.  Yes, someone out there is indeed looking out for me after all.  Yes, I do have a guardian angel!

Nico was a young fellow in his 20s when he got caught up in something dumb.  He paid his debt to society and learned from it.  If he's a scam artist, he's a lousy one because he missed several chances to take major money and run.

Invoice factoring is a proven lucrative business with a worldwide demand.  The platform is solid.  Populous will become a major force in the industry.

So here we've have, to my knowledge, crypto's first clear and present danger to the worldwide traditional financial services industry... real direct damage will begin with beta (likely next week) and the world will never be the same again.  Recon that industry knows about Populous?  Yep.  Recon they would do anything they could to inflict damage to Populous now?  Yep.  Recon why the troll amateur detectives would go to all the trouble to assemble such a FUD dossier? What swell guys they are, looking out for us like that!

Any comparison between PPT and Bitconnect is absurd.  Bitconnect was a Ponzi, based on layered tiers of recruited new players with an ultimate collapse of the entire upside-down pyramid.  PPT simply continues the well known business finance mechanism known as receivables factoring...exactly the same thing banks do every day.  In this case, Populous makes the same functions peer to peer... more efficient, quicker and less expensive.  Each invoice contract is a stand alone transaction between invoice seller (who now can easily shop around) and buyer (who makes a reasonable profit on each contract). 

If you want to devise a Ponzi scam and attach it to crypto coin there are all sorts of ways to do it but Invoice factoring is not one of them. 

A few humble thoughts...

First, I think with time BTC volatility will settle down.  We're about to enter a derivatives BTC market for the first time which will level out the peaks and valleys for those who own it that way.

Secondly, in the grand overall historical picture, BTC has only been here about 20 minutes.

Third, I think Bitcoin is more of a store of wealth than an everyday currency...but no doubt for daily use there will be alts/debit cards of some type that we simply load-use-and reload from BTC or other slow fat coins.  I truly believe Bitcoin will take the place of checking, money market and CD accounts.

My only real worry is the possibility of the quantum computers hacking in (although we've got time to build countermeasures) or something that kills the internet like a multiple EMT attacks.  Of course if that happens, we've got more problems than just currency!

We are witnessing and living a revolution!  We are making world history!
