Any updates on this last comment hinting at ByBit being a scam?

A buddy of mine that's big on Instagram received an email from them about a week or so ago. They want him to become one of their marketing partners. I just found this thread and there are a lot of potential red flags here. Does anyone have any update about them?

I'm not a crazy fan DIGITEX FUTURES, but I want to believe that this project will live, because I invested in DIGITEX their money. I will wait until the end of 2019. If, as now, I remain in the red, I will sell DGTX tokens and try to forget about this failure.

So because you invested in their tokens, you believe that the project will survive? And if that's the case, why will they survive until the end of 2019? Can't they go to $0.00 before that time?

Of course, these tokens can turn to dust in a few months, but I will hope that I will benefit from my investment. I don't want to sell now. Nothing ventured, nothing gained. In trading on stock markets, it is important not to lose your temper and not to panic.

But it is also important not to invest in assets that are not fundamentally sound and to cut your losses if necessary. Hoping and praying are not good for investing.

When you lose people's trust and confidence, you lose everything, that is what has happened to digitex. Have promised launching their exchange and failed so many times and this recent once came as a shock. This is making a lot of people doubt what the exchange promised to offer by providing a free to trade exchange. Have made a lot of persons lose fund and it is not fair. I saw it that the developers know what they are doing, announced and quickly dumped.

Exactly. Agree 100%. Also, it is very possible that team members/insiders dumped their shares prior to the last delay announcement and Adam's rant about Spotware. Just look at the evidence presented by this YouTuber along with the wallet addresses it happened on:

I think this exchange has quite an interesting feature, it's just that I'm not sure that exchange can beat other competitors, especially many new exchanges that also participate in the competition, but if I see from dgtx token, the demand is quite a lot, I think the exchange have a chance to become famous when it has been launched.

Or go to zero. Did you watch the video I provided or Spotware's Medium response to Adam Todd's rant? I'm amazed Digitex fans ignore this stuff. Crazy.

Hey guys, was there any good news today about the DIGITEX FUTURES project? The entire market falls by an average of 5%, but the DGTX token grew by almost 15% in a day. Can anyone explain the cause of this phenomenon?

Maybe it's more insider trading via volume pumping bots 👍
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: DIGITEX FUTURES on: May 21, 2019, 07:47:03 PM
honestly, I was a little hesitant about the development of the platform where the exchange was held in the future because I still remember some time ago there was an airdrop program in Digitex, I was afraid that if the airdrop participants destroyed the price of the Digitex coin.
How can some participants of the airdrop destroy the price of a coin whose capitalization is more than 10 million? A very small portion of tokens is allocated for the airdrop.

It makes no sense. These guys are destroying the price themselves. Just go to their Telegram group and bring up legitimate concerns about the delays, movement of tokens through different wallets, etc. and the mods will delete your comments right away. They also have auto deletion of links because they do not want anyone to share anything detrimental to DGTX. So if you try to post something meaningful like Spotware's intelligent and detailed Medium rebuttal to Adam's ridiculous accusations about the platform implementation being totally botched by Spotware, it will never appear in the chat. They would rather operate in a continuous defensive mode than come clean or at least try to logically disprove accusations and evidence against them. This project will likely not survive another 6 months.

Nah, I think that Digitex might have destroyed the price of the Digitex coin  Tongue

I strongly believe that the digitex futures exchange will definitely lunch though there are few challenges with it. Adam should come out with some positive news about the exchange because that is what we all are waiting for. He has to set the launch date.

What do you guys make out this new development about DIGITEX futures exchange?

It did not launch and that left investors furious and token price dumped

That’s what happens when there are too many hypes and talk without actions

Yup, and Adam is the master at hype and talk  Wink
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: DIGITEX FUTURES on: May 18, 2019, 10:11:53 PM
I think the future of a project that has an exchange-based platform can be very good in the future if it has good development and development and has very high security, you can see from a binary exchange place that can stand up because of the ICO.

Yes, an exchange is a great business model if the team behind it adds value. The reality is that other major exchanges have announced their plans to establish DEX and futures exchanges. These exchanges have more funds and experience with Digitex. The chances are that a company with a clown CEO that has botched up its launch several times (and possibly even been involved in insider trading of their own token) launches an exchange let alone become any significant competition for serious players out there are slim to none. Get real gents.
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: DIGITEX FUTURES on: May 18, 2019, 09:10:58 PM
My personal prediction for DGTX is a price range of $5-15 USD by the end of 2019 year. Their marketing efforts are great, let’s hope their tokenized revenue model and technological stack of the futures platform will show us the same!

Keep dreaming my friend.
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: DIGITEX FUTURES on: May 18, 2019, 09:07:23 PM
I seriously don't understand what has happened to this promising project of late. We all had high hopes and anticipation for this project but recently, it has taken a nose dive with no clear indication of what to expect. Looks like there is a lot that needs to be done to re-establish that trust we once had.

If you seriously don't understand what has happened to Digitex lately, then you haven't been doing that much reading or video watching. IMHO they've done an excellent job of building up a massive list of minions who equate success or progress with a rising token price. How did they do this? Through massive social media spam and constantly talking up their token price. But a risking price doesn't necessary mean things wit the project are going in the wrong directly. The fact is that their CEO is something more akin to a slick snake oil salesman than an expert in anything exchange related.

Good luck to all Digitex fans out there, but get ready to be disappointed by these jokers who (as the evidence on the video I posted earlier suggests) probably dumped most of their tokens after a hype pump and are trying to do exactly the same during round 3 in order to sell off the remaining amount. May the Lord be with you DGTX hodlers!
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: DigitexFitures (DGTX) isn't an exit scam project, give it sometime. on: May 18, 2019, 07:36:08 PM
I am still bullish on this coin. Mistakes were made for sure, but I think they will bring the project to market. CEO is too up front and visible for an exit scam. It would be fairly easy for the authorities to track him down.
I took the opportunity to get in cheap since I missed it the first time around.

Ease of getting busted in not a detriment for scammers. They do it anyway. If it is true that they were blindsided by the news, which I don't buy it for one minute given that this isn't the first time they experienced a delay, they should have provided proof that they didn't dump their tokens prior to and during the crash. It is very easy to do this. After all, this is the blockchain! Of course they didn't do that, even though Adam made verbal claims of tokens not being dumped by insiders. Of course, also the blind followers of Digitex (and believe me, they have quite a few) will come out and say that Adam's verbal excuses are good enough. They aren't!

Just look at the funky volume patterns that were present prior to and during the announcement https://youtu.be/4H8FW3r24pA. It's blatantly suspicious to say the least. Thinking that Digitex will dethrone or even compete with BitMEX is laughable at best.
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: DIGITEX FUTURES on: May 18, 2019, 07:29:19 PM
The CEO is right out in the forefront of this one. It would be easy to track him down if this were an exit scam. This was a high profile project I am thinking the authorities would track him down in short order.

If that was the case, most scams wouldn't exist. The reality is that most people involved with exit scams, insider trading fiascos, etc. are busted, but they still try to get away with being crooked because of greed. That's the reality of man in a nutshell. Instead of just having Adam claim during interviews that insiders/team members didn't dump tokens prior to and during the announcement, they should have provided proof. It's the blockchain for Christ's sake. Everything is there and its the best way to clear your name. Of course they didn't do that.

Watch the video I mentioned above to see the funky volume activity of DGTX tokens before and during the announcement time.
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: DIGITEX FUTURES on: May 18, 2019, 04:24:22 PM
Guys, even though Adam tried throwing Spotware completely under the bus, these guys were the same guys who built CTrader, which is also used by many reputable FX brokers on the Forex side.

I think that what happened with the movement of tokens during the April 26th is very suspicious to say the least (see this video which discusses it and provides different wallet addresses associated with the whole thing https://youtu.be/4H8FW3r24pA). Spotware's response to Adam's accusations are also very interesting and a complete 180 from what Mr. Todd is alleging.

Here's the Medium post associated with that: https://medium.com/@spotware/why-digitex-failed-spotware-reveals-62461fd580b5

18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: DIGITEX ICO SCAM?! on: May 18, 2019, 03:34:32 PM
Digitex may be a pending scam, as insiders try to buy time to unload every token they own at the highest price possible.

Just look at the shenanigans that went on with the spikes in DGTX token volumes prior to and during their April 26th exchange delay announcement:

https://youtu.be/4H8FW3r24pA

I'm also surprised that no one has focused more on the official response from Spotware on their Medium page:

https://medium.com/@spotware/why-digitex-failed-spotware-reveals-62461fd580b5

To me it seems that Digitex has a very large horde of blind followers and a CEO that reeks more of snake oil salesman than trader or crypto executive.
19  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Is there a Good Calendar of the top Bitcoin/Crypto Conferences in the World? on: May 10, 2018, 08:46:32 PM
Does anyone have a preferred source (whether web or app based) that provides the list of important conferences and summits in the US and/or around the world?

I have seen different calendar pages, but there are a bunch of smaller events mixed in. I'm interested in the major events.

Thoughts from anyone that goes to conferences regularly?

Thanks for your input.
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: DNotes 2.0 - Bridging the Gap Between the Centralized and Decentralized World on: December 24, 2017, 10:43:36 PM
Is https://dnotespool.com reliable?

Thinking of switching my L3+ to mine Dnotes.

Hi cryptokrazy, would you be able to share any tutorials on how to mine DNotes? I would like to get involved with mining but I'm not sure how or where to start. I'm sure it will be profitable to mine DNotes if the price continues on uptrend. Thank you in advance Smiley

Not really sure. I'm at the Getting Started page of the pool I mentioned above, but just see config examples for GPU miners. Not sure how to set up to mine on ASICs.

Perhaps the DNotes team could make a detailed video tutorial on how to mine the coin. All the technical jargon on the Getting Started Guide is too complicated for me. I think a video guide would be very helpful especially for those of us who are newbs when it comes to mining crypto-currencies Smiley

Welcome cryptokrazy, DNotesPool.com is managed independently by one of our team members. It has been running since the launch of DNotes with very little issue.

As far as setting up using an antminer, which you will have to excuse me as I don't have experience with that miner, I believe it is a local / web interface where you have to plug in your URL (from https://dnotespool.com/index.php?page=gettingstarted) stratum+tcp://dnotespool.com:8333 and your worker and password. I was looking at this video to give me an idea of how the L3+ would work with DNotesPool.com https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D1ain_K_LLQ.

As far as mining videos, appreciate the idea, however there are many variables in hardware / software / proprietary systems for ASIC machines. Which leads to hundreds of variations and mining on a computer today is not practical nor is it recommended for someone just getting involved in cryptocurrency. It is indeed very technical and takes a lot of research, this is part of the reason we will be moving to proof of stake.

Staking on the other hand will be much easier to setup and understand with very little technical knowledge required.

Edit: And that is correct BTCWise, all you need for hardware for staking is just about any computer.

Thank you. It was actually quite easy to set up The Antminer L3+ with the stratum address you provided, the Username.Workername and the password.
