I have all my 2fa .1 coins in slabs from icg where they also went through the extra effort to put the actual 1st bits of the public addresses on the slabs, instead of just the code. I use the 1st bits to verify funding of each and every 2fa coin I have I'll add pictures as examples of what I mean https://imgur.com/a/m7t1pbTMy guess is that Tim lost the private keys somehow. Otherwise, a lot of this saga would have been resolved already.

Just saying that there has been 0 issues to this point, (same as casascius, lealanas, cryptoimperator, satoris, and btcc to my knowledge) so it's ridiculous for this to get out of hand over the site needing updated for the 2fa issue to be resolved. Until there is proof about the titans being compromised I hate to see people destroying such beautiful collectibles or losing sleep while hodling them.
Sol Noctis had zero issues until one day my Bull coin was swept. As far as anyone knows mine was the only one, but it proved that someone out there still had a copy of the private keys. Tim needs to keep all the private keys for the 2FA coins, but why wouldn't he also keep the PK ones as well? What if they fell into someone else's hands if Tim is sick / passes away / disappears? What if the 2FA coins have been running on a fractional reserve and there isn't enough Bitcoin to redeem most of them? Too many questions for my liking so I peeled the PK one I have (with zero issues redeeming it), and I'm glad to have the peace of mind.

Spot #3 for me if it hasn't been claimed.

There you can see that the holograms were removed.
My Bull coin was compromised with the hologram intact. Going out on a limb, the manufacturer likely realized all the private keys were compromised and redeemed the coins. Check out the sticky link at the top of Collectibles regarding scam/compromised section for the entire backstory.

LC, is the chain of custody for this coin confirmed to be Maker -> LC -> Snarf -> Dad?
Or is the coin in question from the ebay seller? The thread doesn't really confirm it came from you. Also, I could not find ebay seller that OP posted, powercoin_it. However, powercoin_italy does exist and sells many coins...
If the chain of custody is confirmed, then there are only two possibilities imo. 1. Op is lying for some odd/no reason/sabotage. For the record I do not think this is the case. But I am curious to hear how Snarf came to learn the coin was swept a few weeks earlier?
I ordered 1 Bull coin from powercoin_italy ( www.powercoin.it) on eBay and 2 from Lesbian Cow. The eBay coin shipped out of the Netherlands. I did not keep track of which coin is which when they arrived and I kept all 3 together. I gifted one to my dad for Christmas and I loaded the extra BTC. Later on, I was talking to him about how he could put more on it when I checked the address and saw it was swept. I keep all my coin addresses in a spreadsheet with this Bull coin included. I'd like to know how I'm lying considering the hologram is intact. Are you saying I am the first person in the world to somehow successfully forge a physical crypto hologram, and that it is so good that the original coin maker can't tell the difference? Or are you saying I got my hand on blanks and holograms during the manufacturing process even though I live in the US and have zero ties to European coin makers? I'll kindly ask you take off your conspiracy hat and think rationally about who made these private keys, and how easy would it be to keep them all in a digital wallet "just in case".

I'm going to be super pissed off if this got lost.
Anyone want to buy my set minus #8?
Coins are taking a bit more to arrive to the USA than usual, will ask my postal office to check if they can see the status, as the package has already entered the USA. In case the coin is lost, worry do not, as I will replace it. The lost coin will be labeled as "Lost in transit" on my records to avoid resale, and hence it is not funded until arrival no BTC will be lost. Much appreciated. I never thought I'd see the day where the postal service is failing, but here we are. Let me know if I need to file any forms on my end. snarfbag- you're not alone. I haven't received my 8/10 coin either, and it's been a month since it was shipped. Mine just showed up today. All I have to say is wow shipping is bad these days, but glad it made it.

Has anyone in the US received the 8/10 coin yet? It's been almost a month since it was shipped and this USPS situation is looking bleak.

On another note, why would anyone want to add extra BTC to a loaded coin? That is a big no no.
I'll address a a couple points because I feel this is patronizing. My father is elderly and was the recipient of the compromised coin. This was a quick way to load up a little extra in a way that he could not easily lose, or have to deal with technology like a Trezor. First off, your loaded amount will not reflect the value of the face of the coin.
So what? It was a gift meant for him to eventually peel. Not everyone is a collector in the sense of trading back and forth and trying to keep the coin pure. I get that it is important to you, but not to him or me. Last but not least you are taking chances your coins will be lost like this gentleman did with Sol Noctis.
What if all the Bull coins were swept later if the price were to rise to $100k or more? By your rationale no one should be holding any coins of any significant value. By loading the extra Bitcoin and proving someone still holds the keys I'd call that a favor that may save some headaches years down the road. Loading the extra did not make me lose it since it may have been stolen later anyway. The way you're wording this sentence makes it sound like I had this coming--like the coin being swept is somehow my fault. That worry should not exist with legitimate coin makers.

Hey CI, any idea yet on when we will see the last of these coins (#8) done? Hopefully the new mint that you're using has them done, or will have them done in the near future. The 10 year anniversary coin set completion should be a priority, at this point. Also, are there any options for holders? Coins have already been reminted, 10 coin set is a priority, but with the current country situation I am unable to ship nor complete further projects as most business are still closed... Any updates here? I know that shipping is picking back up in some locations, but the window may be limited if another wave of the pandemic starts going around.

Bump, Any update ?
The coin was shipped to Lesbian Cow and arrived per the tracking number. I haven't heard anything else. Hey guys, what happened to the overage that was sent to that coin? did i miss the explanation? Where did the extra btc go that he sent to that coin?
The extra funds are still sitting in an address the coin creator swept them into on 2/20/20 and haven't moved since.
