The wallet will only check already used addresses periodically, at least once every 24hrs though.

If you click refresh or press the balance, the wallet will make a "normal sync" which does not sync already used addresses.
Refresh has about a 30% chance to do a "full sync" rather than a "normal sync" when pressing it, then it will check used addresses.

So spamming refresh is one way to go, reloading account is the safe way.

Both, mycelium and simplex take a 5% fee.

Simplex takes 5% or 10$ minimum,
so a 50$ purchase has 10$ of fee for simplex minus myceliums 5%.

This brings 50$ down to 35$.

Also the bitcoin amount displayed is without fees deducted and they get redacted from the bitcoin amount.

no there currently is not.

Currently sending using priority will build a 90 satoshi/byte transaction, which when compared to the fees recommended is on the upper bound of the bracket.


Assuming you build a standard transaction the fee should more then enough to be included with the next block,
please see our article below, which goes into details how the fee is chosen, how transactions are affected by the fee and how you can estimate the confirmation time for a transaction.

If your wallet is up to date it will display the fee paid per byte at the bottom of the transaction details, which can be entered by selecting the Transaction within the Transactions-tab an choosing "Show Details" from the dropdown menu.
You can then check https://bitcoinfees.21.co to see what the current recommended fee is for a transaction to be included in the next block beneath the graphic in bold.

iOS:
Our iOS version does display the fee used broken down to sat/B, you can also go into the transaction details and copy the transaction id by long-pressing the transaction id and search for it, check your transaction id using https://www.smartbit.com.au, it will display the fee used in sat/B, which can also be compared to what https://bitcoinfees.21.co recommends.

ViaBTC is a mining group that will priotize your transaction if you have given it a fee of 0.0001 BTC or higher, you can provide them with your transaction id here https://www.viabtc.com/tools/txaccelerator/

Das mit der Sicherheit ist relativ, Blockchain.info hält für dich einen verhlüsselten Container bereit in der Cloud, in diesem Befinden sich deine Daten (Private-Keys), diesen Container entsperrst du quasi durch dein einloggen und baust innerhalb deines Browsers deine transaktionen etc., die übergibst du dann an Blockchain, welche sie im Netzwerk verbreiten.

Im Gegensatz zu MtGox hält Blockchain also keinen privaten Schlüssel, die ihnen entwendet werden können. Aber Einige tausend verhlüsselte Dateien wohinter jeweils eine Wallet steht. Diese müssten alle einzelnd "gebruteforced" werden, wenn jemand Blockchain leerräumen möchte.

Lokal gespeichert ist deine Wallet auch nur so sicher wie dein Computer, wenn du dir einen Virus fängst der deine Wallet dem Angreifer schickt ist es dieselbe Situation wie bei Blockchain, allerdings nur wenn du deine Wallet selber verschlüsselt hast. (Durch Nutzung von Armory etc. lässt sich dies aber einfach gewährleisten.)

Dann gibt es auch noch Paper Wallets (gehören zu Cold-Storage), die sind am sichersten. Da steht dein privater Schlüssel nur auf einem Stück Papier oder ähnlichem, also nicht online findbar. Dieser kann zusätzlich mit einer Kennfolge geschützt sein.

Mein Tipp:
Wenn du ein Android Gerät hast, habe deinen großteil sicher in Paper Wallets verstaut und nur dein Spielgeld Online auf Blockchain. Solltest du von deiner Paper Wallet etwas abheben wollen, kannst du einfach deinen Android nutzen mit der mycellium Wallet, diese besitzt eine funktion zum versenden von Paper Wallets.

Du siehst die Bezahlung sobald du den Block verifiziert hast indem die Transaktion steckt, dass kann vor 100% sein.

Zu deiner Hauptfrage: Die normalen Wallets (sog. Full-Nodes, da sie alle Daten haben) brauchen immer um so lange zu laden, du kannst dir jedoch die große Datei wo die Transaktionen drin sind extra runterladen (Für BTC zb: datei bootstrap.dat.torrent http://sourceforge.net/projects/bitcoin/files/Bitcoin/blockchain/, einer im forum bietet einen torrent mit allen blöcken hier an https://github.com/Subo1978/Bootstrap.dat) und dann einfach reinkopieren.
Andere Lösung sind Wallets, welche nicht all diese Daten laden (alle Transaktionen). Diese Clients laden nur den Kopf-Teil (sog. Header) von den Blöcken und synchronisieren so schneller. Allerdings gibt es diese lightweight-clients fast ausschließlich für BTC, zum Beispiel Multibit oder Electrum.
Für Nischen-Coins gibt es leider nur Full-Nodes im moment oder halt eine WebWallet.
