So, this is another dead project, it seems? ![Embarrassed](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/embarrassed.gif) No? The Masari blockchain has not stopped and continues to work. Everything you need to use Masari is alive, working and in-action.

Masari project looks very good! Excited for future!
What new developments can we expect in first quarter of 2020?
Hi and welcome! We're expecting a major update in 2020 where our code is updated with all the latest and greatest from upstream Monero while still having all the elements that Masari introduces. Proof of work may be left the same as it's not being touched by unique hardware currently but other PoW algorithms may be explored. Are these still happening? Could you tell us when the next one is? These are still happening every other Saturday. Next meeting should fall on 02 May 2020. Discord invite can be found on the Masari web site, first page of this ANN and various posts throughout this discussion.

I have nothing to do with any pumps, nor any personal knowledge of who does what trading other than what people claim in public channels. Pegasus (no idea if still using that name; no offense intended) has not been heard from (by me or anyone that I know of) in some time so who knows. Someone moved on. Nice pump, thanks whoever.

...
I don't support ASICs on cryptonight nor arbitrary changes to this or that algorithm with no useful properties of its own but intended to give temporary advantage to GPU miners for some limited period after a switch.
Isn't that all of the modifications to cryptonight so far in a nutshell? So far, yes it is.

Agreed and this is also true for bitcoin. However, you know more hashrate is better. The blockchain clearly is more secure and not as vulnerable to attackers who go from coin to coin using their GPU mining farms or rent hash power from Nicehash to attack altcoins.
More hashrates will only be better if they are spreaded around diversified mining pools. Dominant hashrates concentrate on one or two pools are always a risk for network healthy condition. Yes, similar to bitcoin. When a mining pool is close to having 51% of the hashrate, the community and the miners themselves call on some of them to mine in another mining pool. Also, a similar situation can happen today without Asics. I have a computer With CPU Core i7 2860qm and 8GB ddr3.Can i minning and How many a can earning 1 day? You could mine. I estimate you would get roughly 500h/s on that CPU leading to you daily earnings of roughly 0.05 AEON per day.
